Liz was my month of wedding coordinator, and she went above and beyond for my wedding. I assume month of coordination is harder than the full planning since it requires thorough communication with the bride to carry on the last pieces of the planning and the execution for the wedding day. She spent first two weeks to be fully onboard on the things I've worked on so far, and rest of the weeks for final pieces and executing the wedding. There were tons of details at my wedding which probably made things a bit complicated for her, but Liz would always calmly assure me that we can make it happen. She put me as the priority, helped me to focus on myself instead of worrying about thousand different things. I had the joy of meeting Nancy back in 2019 when she was the coordinator at one of my best friend's wedding. What do you call an angel without wings? LIZ. You call her, Liz. I am still frightened at the thought of the disaster our wedding would've been without her. Where do i even begin. From the beginning, Liz was so organized and a great communicator. We hired her for that last 6 week planning, and for those 6 weeks i talked to her probably more than my fiancé! Having SmittenKiss help with my banquet wedding planning has been a godsend. Not only is Cali so sweet, she matched me with the best planner ever - Nancy! We hired them about 10 months before our actual banquet day, though we weren't having a ceremony or any traditional Vietnamese happenings, we were having an elopement in Paris before the banquet, and required lots of help. I cannot find a place to begin because they were fabulous throughout the whole process! Let's start from the top. When I first contacted SM, I was nervous. I didn't know anything about the industry nor what to expect. I was overwhelmed with everyone else that I had spoken to. Insert Cali. My God-sent angel. Dramatic? No, I promise, it's that serious. From the start, she was so professional and informative, but also ever so thoughtful and kind. She walked and talked me through everything, step by step, making sure I was comfortable with every email and move she made. But it was effortless! It wasn't overbearing nor suffocating. She made her job look like a breeze, when I'm over here panicking even though she's doing all my work. If it wasn't for Cali, I would have probably (most likely) cancelled my wedding and eloped. It was so stressful communicating with vendors when we lived in a different state. It was difficult for meetings and almost even taking us seriously at first. But, she got the ball rolling and got almost everyone on the same page. It was something I know I couldn't have done very easily. Come the wedding day, she and her team (Nadine & Rosie) were flawless. I couldn't have asked for a better team to run the show behind the scenes. They knew their stuff and it impressed not only me, but my whole family. I don't know how many people asked me where I found them! Nancy was my partial wedding coordinator. I have to say..it was the wisest and smartest decision I made in the whole wedding planning process!!! I know a lot of brides are trying to save money and doing everything by themselves. But trust me, you need help, professional help with planning. My wedding was a success because of that. Nancy was always available to help me with every single detail to make sure things go according to plan. Honestly I don't know what I would do without her.
