My friend and I went for massages while on vacation in Memphis. They put us in the same room for massage, which we thought was odd as we hadn't requested this. Shortly after the massages began, they began chatting with each other in a foreign language. I was grateful when the chatting stopped, but then heard a vibrating sound next to my ear as the massage therapist began massaging me with one elbow. As this buzzing sound continued, I realized she was texting as she was barely massaging me and, at times, just had her elbow stuck in my back. At one point, her phone rang and she answered it while continuing to massage me with her one elbow and talking in a foreign language inches from my head. As the point of a massage is to relax, I did not want to get into a discussion on my preference for her to discontinue texting and calling her friends, but I did look up several times to let her know that I knew what she was doing. The last time, I lifted up completely and was about to say something when she finally moved the phone away. We had booked 90 minute massages. The first 30 minutes was a waste of my time and just made me feel angry with her texting, phone calls and chatting with the other therapist. The last 60 minutes was really good and despite her behavior, she was actually great at her job. I wasn't going to leave a tip because of the disrespect shown during the first part of the massage, but the last 60 minutes mostly made up for it and so I left a $15 tip on an $86 massage, which I thought was pretty generous, all considering. The final insult of this experience came when she complained about the amount of tip I left and stating that my friend had left $20. While the quality of massage here was exceptional, I would never return due to the lack of professionalism and the amount of disrespect towards customers. read more

A massage so great that I left without my shoes! I walked-in following a late night yoga class. i arrived with a mild neck spasm and an extremely tense back and periformis. I needed a deep (deep) tissue massage and I lucked up and was treated by Carolyn. She was very thorough and attentive. Carolyn went above and beyond! It was as if I had a Thai massage! She walked on my back and stretched places I didn't know needed stretching. Carolyn was great! I usually frequent the east Memphis/Germantown locations but I can't wait to return to see Carolyn. I'm considering getting 30 minutes of the head massage too. She ended the massage with hot stones which felt incredible!! Very clean, comfortable environment.
