BEWARE OF USING MARIO'S RECONDITIONED APPLIANCES INC…read more I'm thankful i always hangout near the oven when using it. Our oven was recently serviced yesterday by Mario's Reconditioned Appliance Inc because the ignitor died on it. So we used it last night for dinner and noticed an odd smell, we chalked it up to must be from the new part. As I'm using the oven today I'm like no something is definitely burning. Sure enough i open the broiler and boom there's a melted power tester, batteries and all just sitting there. An obvious fire hazard. My step father then calls them telling them this and here is the response from the 'owner' (person claimed to be owner using ' just in case it's not). "What would you like me to do? I'm the owner and I did the job, do you want me to fire myself?" Then the 'owner' proceeded to joke " Would you like me to cook you dinner?" Then even went so far as to joke "You think you're upset, I just lost a $150 tool." Those who don't know what a power tester is, it's a cheap small tool that beeps/flashes of there's power in something you touch it to, it costs about $20 for most higher quality types. Including pictures of the melted one and one that's pretty spot on from Walmart for $6 (if I'm able to include pictures). Disgusting how people can make so light of endangering an entire household. What if it was my grandfather starting that oven and then going back to his room? Sure i caught it before the was a fire, but what if I didn't, how funny would they find that then? People make me sick. Those were very unprofessional responses.

I received a call 4 days after the scheduled appointment to see if I needed help. I asked if I would get a quote before fixing the problem and he said he was going out there to fix it and charge me. He would only tell me if it was going to be very expensive. He came and did no fixing or repairs because he couldn't find the leak, was incredibly rude, and said nothing was wrong with it but has charged my credit card without any bill to follow up.

They service many vacuums and have sewing machines too…read more I've had my Oreck vacuums cleaned here over the years. They do a nice job.

Pretty upset. I paid $140 to have my machine repaired. The service was pretty awful. I was told it…read morewould take about a week to get back, unless they needed to order a new part. I called a full MONTH later wondering if I had missed a call or if they were waiting on a part, because it had been MUCH longer than anticipated and I hadn't had any updates on the status. The woman who answered was very confused, did not recollect me or my machine, and kept asking me if I mine was another brand machine, because she knew what was going on with a different machine. After hearing about what was wrong with the incorrect machine three times, I gave up. I figured I would get a call when it was ready, and waited another full month. At this point I was really antsy, so I called back AGAIN, and was met with the same cluelessness about my machine. She hung up and called me back to check on it after about 20 minutes of fumbling, talking about the OTHER machines and saying she didn't remember MY machine. When she finally called back, she said they were waiting on a new threader, which is fine, but honestly I had forgotten it needed a new one and wasn't one of the things I asked about when I brought my machine in. Another two weeks, and I got the call that my machine was ready. Finally!!! I brought it home, have had it for a week, and it stopped working AGAIN, as soon as I started sewing something. I am incredibly fed up, I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. I am going to call back about this, but do not have high hopes after reading other reviews. I really regret going here.

After we throw out $100 worth of spoiled groceries and are living out of a cooler all weekend, 2 huge black dudes in street clothes and a giant Bucky's truck pull up in my driveway within the quoted timeframe. One of the guys is talking VERY loudly on his phone about the groin surgery he's having on Wednesday. Thanks, but no one wants to hear about your VD. Less talky, more move fridgy! Once they finally get to work, the old broken fridge is dismantled and brought out and the refurbished fridge is brought in, about 25 minutes total. The "new" fridge is functional but doesn't close all the way and doesn't have a tight seal around the door. But at least we can make it work. Aside from hearing all about that dudes crotch surgery, I'd recommend Bucky's from the little dealing I had with them.

I have been having trouble with a plant and the owner was happy to look at photos end even unpotted a healthy plant to show me what the roots should look like. My sister went to them for help a while back as well and they helped her stake her monstera. The plants always look healthy, they are knowledgeable, and it's a plus that they usually have a cat and two adorable dogs hanging out! One of my favorite spots around!

My husband walked in and the staff greeted him, (he is white and I am not) I didn't think much about this. Later as I walked around the shop, I noticed a young woman with glasses was kind of following me. The funniest part is that she tried so hard to look casual but she was almost waiting for me to steal something? I looked at her and said Do you work here? she replied yeees... I asked some question about plants, I found a couple of stuff I wanted to buy so I went to check out, One was still busy checking out some customer with a wagon full of stuff so I asked an older woman if her till was open. She didn't even look up at me, said the other one is almost done, pointing at the other guy with her chin.... So rude. The young casher guy was nice, putting my plants carefully in a paper bag. Later I joined my husband who was looking at some trees in the back, he wanted to consider buying high ticket item but I said no. Clearly they are somewhat against non-white people, not sure, but I definitely felt unwelcome there, I have not felt this way ever in any stores before.
