I do not prefer amalgam and wanted an alternative treatment. His billing staff did not correctly request a pre-authorization with my insurance company to cover the alternative treatment and I was stuck with choosing the amalgam. Luckily, I went to another dentist office who informed me that I DON'T have a cavity. 2. The billing staff didn't provide a written explanation of why my night guard is necessary (because I grind at night) so my insurance won't cover it until the evidence is provided. I have talked with the staff three times about getting this taken care of and they STILL are demanding I pay for the part that insurance was supposed to be covered. My treatment was 6 months ago!!!! I don't trust the dentist or his staff. I will not be returning.

So far, on a routine cleaning, dental assistant broke one of my crowned molars. Was furious,but allowed him to finish other scheduled crown before vowing to not use him again. Due to laziness on my part and living in one town and working in another, I came back after a few years so they could try to make it right. Upon coming back, Keilman dentistry was still rougher than most dentists but as a vet, we can take quite a beating before complaining. Although some of the techs were competent in cleaning, I put off extraction of the molar until it started causing problems. "Dave" became billing coordinator somewhere in this time and my portion of payments on the estimate fluctuated up and down. I would tell them to tell me exactly what I had to pay so that I would not owe after insurance paid out. Never was it the same. On my last visit, I finally had them extract the tooth they had broken and crown another. In the billing estimate, I was told a certain price. When insurance paid and I had paid, I was billed $300+ more than estimate and was told "Insurance companies" can change what they pay "at will". Insurance company has told me they haven't changed prices and the mistake on Dr. Keilman's estimate was billing department quoting me price for gold versus white colored crown. A distinction I care nothing about since it was a molar! If you are looking for competent dentistry along with fair billing, move along. Sadly,You won't find it here. If I could give zero stars, I would.

This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with any business. My kids are now penalized from the office they love and the friendly faces that take care of them because your policy doesn't allow cancellations due to sick kiddos. KiDZ dental zone is about kids and anyone who has kids would know that they get hit hard and fast with colds. You don't always have 48 hours to give notice.

The routine exam and cleaning was gently done, efficient, and as pleasant as a dentist visit could possibly be. We also had a family member who needed an emergency visit, an extraction and a deep cleaning over the course of 3 weeks. Everyone he worked with was kind and understanding of the anxiety and pain involved and did their best to mitigate it as much as possible. The long hours make it easy to get an appointment and they are happy to let you know if something opens up earlier (if you want). Office staff is helpful, office is nice, easy parking. All in all an outstanding dentist, highly recommend.

The entire time, I had the feeling like I was just hanging out with my friends, only we were chatting about my kids teeth, in depth. Very professional team, yet personal. The building and decor had a fun fresh and bright feel. I don't know what my kids liked more, the fact that they got to wear sunglasses and watch TV while they were being worked on, the friendly dental hygienist and dentist, or tokens for the small trinket machine on the way out. I have had a couple experiences at this dentist now and I now can confidently make a review to…read morehopefully steer anyone else away from this clinic. My daughter needed emgernt care for an infection that had started. I was happy with the female Dentist we first saw, she was patient and kind to my daughter. The front desk staff are also very warm and pleasant but that is where the care really stops. Once we came back to get my daughter's tooth removed, the male Dentist was extremely frustrated with my daughter. Mind you she is 5 and had never even sat for cleaning which I voiced repeatedly to the Dentist and staff. The hegentist was very sweet and tried to talk with my daughter to get her comfortable. Although once the dentist came in, that is when my daughter lost it. She wouldn't lay for him she began to get really scared. She was given the laughing gas which didn't do anything for her. She was very alert, and the dentist did nothing to encourage her or comfort her. Was visibly annoyed at my 5 year old, and I had to hold her down so he could get the tooth out. It was a very heightened situation with my daughter moving so much and crying but I expect the Dr. to be able to say we can't do this safely or to try to comfort her in some capacity. He was visibly irritated by the end and instead of saying it's okay you did great he immediately got up and said we can't do any more procedures with her safely if she is alert and left the room. I left upset and so did my daughter, but we had another procedure coming up with the same clinic and she was to be sedated so I went ahead and kept that appointment. We came back and the care was even worse but this time with the Anesthesiologist. Dr. Ron Wagner with Ambulatory Anesthesia Care. I will summarize this expereicne as best I can. Basically this man should not work with children. He was impatient to me and extremely insensitive. He did not say one thing to my daughter to make her feel safe or comfortable. He was annoyed that I wanted to help her back into the room mind you she is FIVE and has trauma from the dentist. I held her arms down for him because he was being extremely impatient clearly they were on a time crunch. She fell asleep quickly and as I am crying and my daughter too, he says "Yeah kids do a lot better when their parents aren't in the room.." The way you should be able to read the room as someone in this level of care. The most appropriate thing to say in that moment would have been " Great job mom, I know that was hard." He dismissed me by saying that and I told him that was unnecessary to say in this moment, and he ignored what I said and didn't apologize and told me I could leave. After this was completed the Dentist came in and checked in, and began to ask about my daughter's sleeping habits... because kids who don't sleep well often are more emotional. Needless to say I will not be back and the Anesthesiologist came back in and didn't even apologize to me after I let him know that was inappropriate. I will absolutely never go back to this clinic.

However, when I needed to cancel an appointment at the last minute today, I was informed that another missed appointment would result in being "dismissed" from the practice. Given these interactions, I would strongly recommend additional customer‑service training for front‑line staff. I have already moved my son to our family dentist, who was able to schedule him within one week.

The dentist did not listen to my concerns and the feeling I got was that "surgery" and "anesthesia" using gas were the only option for minor cavities.
