Adam Parker/Parker Services started taking care of our lawn a little over 2 1/2 years ago and I couldn't be happier. It's hard to believe that those other reviews are talking about the same person. He is so nice, friendly and easy to work with. He really does bend over backwards to try to accommodate you and work with your needs. His prices are also very reasonable. Whatever you need, just a simple phone call or text message is all it takes to keep the perfect lines of communication open and he REALLY works with you about when and what you would like to have done. Recently I had them do a landscaping project and I told him that he could wait for the following week so that they wouldn't die from the heat. Adam and his crew showed up at the end of the week when it was 98 degrees outside in order to get the job done because he knew how important it was to me, instead of waiting just a couple of days when the temperature was set to drop at least 25 degrees. I have a hilly back lot and originally contacted another landscaping place to get ideas and was willing to pay for their opinion. I had to wait two weeks before they would come out to take a look. On the day of appointment, I called to confirm and they told me their truck broke and could I reschedule to the next day with a different tech. Sure. The next day came and went with a "no call, no show". My calls weren't returned either. Because they weren't reliable, I called another service. I called Parker Services and was pleasantly surprised when the owner answered the call. He agreed to meet me at my property that day after he finished another appointment. He stayed in touch via phone and let me know his e.t.a. Once here, he walked with me around the property and suggested what could be done to fix the drainage issues. When it rains, some of the flows here give the appearance of lively streams. I found his suggestions valuable and doable. He was professional, polite and friendly. Parker Services is prompt, professional, and did a great job for us. From the start, Adam Parker quickly responded to our request to quote grading work in our backyard. Adam provided an all-inclusive quote to bring in fill dirt, spread it, and top it with seed. He discussed options to bring the dirt and equipment into our backyard with minimal impacts to the rest of our yard (used a small 7 ton excavator for compacting the fill and a high capacity bucket on a large skid steer to quickly move the fill with minimal spillage). Adam consistently provided target start dates and suggestions on how to best finish the grade. We selected Parker Services because Adam's quote was competitive plus he seemed very knowledgeable and customer oriented. We are very pleased with his work and follow up. We were having issues with what we thought was a drainage problem in an area of our yard. Adam came out, checked it out and immediately said as drainage issues go we don't really have a problem. Since now is not the time to plant fescue, he recommended I apply a good fertilizer in the bare area, let the weeds come up, cut the grass on the low setting until fall, then call him back to put down some quality fescue seed and fertilizer (or we could do it ourselves). I am going to follow his advice and definitely will contact him again this fall. He stated that there is no reason why we can't have a lush green lawn like our neighbors. We appreciate him being honest with us. We thought we were looking at having a French Drain and maybe a Retaining Wall. I have been dealing with a storm drain issue for months and I called Parker to get me a cost estimate. He was prompt to come to my house and take a look and sent me a quote very quickly. This storm drain issue was not a small 6" drain but a long section of 18" pipe buried 3 foot underground! The crew was able to get the job done in under a day. This included excavating the original pipe, putting the new pipe in its place, covering it up, hauling off debris, and reseeding the yard. I was very satisfied with the job that they did. I called Parker Services after not hearing from multiple companies due to my location. I needed to get my yard graded, add new dirt, and seeded. They called me back, setup a meeting right away, provided a very reasonable estimate and provided a timeframe on when the work could be completed. He developed the project start to finish and followed the city engineers' requirements that did not eactly match his project development. Called for an estimate. He suggested I send pictures and he would call me back. I sent him the pictures and he called me back with helpful information that didn't cost me a dime. He suggested I call him back in the winter to address the other water issue due to the winter being the only time it was an issue, that way he could better tell what was going on.
