He's also well on his way to being able to write his letters, which is pretty impressive for a 3-year old. They practice writing all the time - I love it. He knows how to write his name. Maybe that's unimpressive to some, but I'm impressed. And pleased. The staff is caring and present. It's like a family. Any concerns we've had were addressed immediately and professionally. Excellent customer service. Jenny, the principal, is really great. She has this place running like a well-oiled machine. Our son loves it there. He's always excited to go to school. The other kids seem excited to see him. The teachers seem to genuinely like him. And we LOVE the diversity in the classroom. Kids of various Latin backgrounds, white kids, black kids, Asian kids... wonderful mix of races. We loved his first "preschool" (pre-preschool), but it was pretty much White-Bread-McWhiteyson. Trying to think of any potential complaints... hmmm... well, the parking lot is super small and sucks, so be prepared to park on the street and walk a little (not far at all). That's normal there. Not a big deal. They use glitter in some art projects, and we all know glitter is the herpes of the art world. No need to spread that stuff around... Ah! The one thing I really dislike: uniforms. Our son has all these cool shirts that people give him, that he loves, and he only gets to wear them on weekends. Why do the kids need to wear a Spanish Schoolhouse shirt everyday? Seriously? What does it accomplish? That's the one thing that drives me crazy. But since it doesn't truly affect his education or overall experience, I'm leaving this at 5 stars. But I really do hate that he has to wear a uniform and I think there's ZERO reason for it at their young age. Call it 4.5 stars because I hate the uniforms rule. Seriously, I highly, highly recommend the Coppell SSH. They've got their game together. We toured the Castle Hills SSH too, and this was notably more impressive. We heard the same from other folks about the comparison - Coppell is where it's at! This place has it going ON! (The Castle Hills one seemed... less so.) Enjoy, amigos!

Holy cow, what a great deal! Hence the 20 or so massages I've had! Well, I've finally decided that I'd maybe quit going to Parker. Of the 20 massages I've had I would say 2 of them have been right up there with the best professional massage I've had. Probably 10 have been average massages from an obvious student in training and the rest were doozies! The training program the students go through is fairly quick and therefor the turnover is high. In other words, by the time you find a great masseuse, the student is about to graduate and you will never have them again! At the end of the appointment you are asked to fill out a survey on the student's performance. The atmosphere could best be described as clinical. No spa-like setting aside from the occasional tranquil music playing. Several times I have been downright frigid getting a massage there. And a couple of times I have had fairly unprofessional students that probably won't make it in the real world of massage! One reason I go is, because even an average massage is sometimes worth $25! Tipping is not required- any money you tip is just put into a fund for the graduating students to have a small party at the end of the year. And, they can usually squeeze me into a same day appointment, in case I woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning.

I waited a few months after enrolling my daughter into a new daycare to provide a fair review…read more Where to begin? There were several unacceptable moments at this daycare and yet I still trusted my daughter to them. 1. As an infant a teacher fell with my daughter in her arms. I wasn't advised I had a couple days to request to view the cameras. They never called an ambulance they just said she was fine. I kick myself in the butt for never taking this further and reporting them. 2. There was a teacher named Jasmine that an incident happen with and they let her go. 3. There was an incident where I arrived to be told my daughter ran into another child face to face collision and she had a huge knot on her forehead. No medical care was provided, I was notified by a teacher that wasn't even in the room or witness to the incident. The teacher caring for her supposedly never noticed or witnessed anything. Laughable, 2 children colliding hard enough to create a big knot on my daughter's forehead would have caused them to both cry. Nonetheless, no one was aware she had a head injury therefore if she would have suffered any symptoms after the fact or even died no one was aware of what occurred until I was notified at pick up and I sent an email out to them addressing that incident and how it was not okay. That's when they expressed they had no idea what had happened until they had to sign the paper notice I signed at pick up. 4. Children biting all the time and no one correcting that behavior. After my daughter was bit a few times she tried to start biting and I correct that behavior immediately. 5. Many other incident and situations occurred, but my last straw was Ms. Lee psychologically impacting my child and forcing her to put her shoes on when my child couldn't. What's worse is I supply shoes without shoe laces and the best part is I was watching the cameras right when this was happening. It lasted minutes not seconds, she proceeded to have my child crying while my child sat on the floor, Ms. Lee was inches from her face saying "God knows what". My daughter's legs were out with knees slightly bent and Ms. Lee decided to press her knee down (continued saying things) and forcing her to get her shoes and put them on. That was it, I had enough and had her removed for the room and made the decision to seek care elsewhere. This daycare is not a daycare, they don't have curriculums, they keep the older kids outside for hours even with extreme heat. They don't have any type of system to teach children consistency, potty training, nor any type of developmental curriculum. This is more like a nanny service, drop off your child, hope for the best and be met with you're just a nagging parent. I made a mistake to trust this place because my older son went to a children's courtyard in Grand Prairie and they were phenomenal. But this location only cares about money and doing the bare minimum. I'm happy to say that my daughter is at a new daycare center (different company) and it has been a success. My daughter has learned and experienced many amazing things and is fully potty trained. This happened in less than 6 months. The curriculum at this new school is high standard, she has done amazing activities, experienced diverse cultures. They don't spend hours outside (especially with it being cold). There is consistency and an actual curriculum with actual learning. Do no waste your money and time at this location, do not regret giving one opportunity after another for them to do right and also, do not have children ages 2-3 and older on the right side of the school (when you enter all rooms to the right), because the teachers yell at the children and they also use profanity. Yes, saying stupid, dumb, or worse profanity is profanity and unacceptable language. Lastly, it got so bad on the right side with Ms. Lee my child was crying on our way to daycare, and when we turned the corner to her classroom she would run back towards the entrance and cry that she didn't want to stay and how Ms. Lee treated her some way. Listen to your child, when they cry in your car driving to daycare (or any location) when they express anxiety or fear to enter a classroom and their facial and physical expression change *huge red flag* do not ignore your child. I drew the line especially when I seen what I seen on camera and it was the best decision I could have made for my daughter that is now in a better place, physically, emotionally and more. I will say the issue begins with corporate, they need to be more involved in what is happening at this location, they need a better system, they need to invest more in actual curriculums and they need to stop covering up their mistakes, now they don't allow parents to see cameras, they review it themselves and then make a determination that is bias. Lastly, they do not offer water and they hardly eat the food supplied at the daycare. Your child will always be hungry and thirsty.

My daughter acted immediately to inform the AP and share her witnesses. Once home she also informed her parents. However, I was never notified by the school. The next morning I arrived to talk to the AP who acknowledged his error in not informing us (however, this lack of communication continued as I had to consistently follow-up). The AP shared my daughters account of the situation was accurate. I stated given the hateful nature of intimidation and bullying, the child should be removed from my daughters classes as well as receive out of school suspension. Neither occurred. The overarching theme in the handling of this has been to dismiss and ignore. The messaging to my daughter and our family has been- its okay. As an adult female who has lived in several parts of the country I have NEVER had this experience- yet, while at HPMS, my 13 yr old daughter has. For the record, this behavior is UNACCEPTABLE. Given the lack of response and concern, this behavior will not only continue at HPMS but fester. It is apparent the safety of their students- both mentally and physically- is not a priority and I will be removing my daughter from the district.

However, one of their most recent hires is a Racist. His name is Raven, and he is at the Colleyville branch. This statement is not due to an incident or a miscommunication, it is a culmination of 4 months' worth of micro-aggressions. When it started, I assumed it was probably Sprectum-related (I have one of those) so benefit of the doubt. However, as time went on, his interactions with other parents, much paler in complexion, was just amazing. But when it comes to me, I got no updates, no progress reports. He would literally walk past me to go and inform the next parent whatever updates is needed, but not me. I tried to mention it to him, and all I got was a grunt. After a handful of weeks, I discussed it with the Office Manager. I'm sure she tried her best to address it. I am paying for Piano classes on a monthly auto-draw. I have no idea what progress is being made, what needs to be worked on adjusted or encouraged, and the instructor acts like my presence is his life's greatest inconvenience. Finally, I confronted him on the issue. He proceeded to go on the most bro-Schmo podcast rant I have ever heard, and just ended up calling me a liar, liar, you're lying, You're a liar. This was happening in front of my kid, so I had to be calm because they learn their conflict handling skills by observation. I stepped out of the room and let the class complete, because it had already been paid for. At the end of the class, he stated, "Next time, you come in here with a better attitude" with a weird smirk on his face. After that, myself, my kid, my pants on fire, and my auto-charge gladly left the building. So, in conclusion, Stage Notes is great. However, if you get assigned to Raven at the Colleyville branch, you will get great service. Just make sure that you're light skinned enough and pale enough, even if it means skipping your tanning appointment. #RavenTheRacist
