It is heavy to leave this review. My son spent 5 years too long here. I should have taken him out…read moreat the first slight of disappointment. The fact that multiple teachers leave after a year (or two) and people tend to pull their kid out of this school speaks volumes for itself. This is a school where the "name" exceeds the experience. As a very involved parent, whose child is was also a minority here, there was a lot of nitpicking that went on and pointing out things in my child that I would see in other children volunteering yet it doesn't seem like anything was done for the other children as far as disciplinary actions. Ms. Wallin is also a problem, she plays favorites and watch out if you or your kid isn't one of them. There is unfairness that goes on with administration and some teachers. They hold kids accountable for things they did in Kindergarten, even if it's been years, unfavorable kids must be perfect. I remember being so excited when my child got into Uplift North Hills feeling like he was going to be supported mentally, emotionally, and academically. I've had teachers tell me they take their children out of this school before middle school and high school so 'their kid to be a kid'. If you don't want your kid to be well rounded with sports, social skills, and experiences, along with academics, welp.. this may be the school for your child.

I would HIGHLY recommend this school. My kids had a bad experience at a different daycare in the…read morearea and i was really nervous to start them here. Everyday my kids are very happy to come here. My children are 4 months and 17months so they are not yet talking to tell me how they feel but i can tell by their body language that they are happy. My 4 month old has been going here since he was 7 weeks and he LOVES his teacher. He is only 4 months and when he sees his teacher his smile goes from ear to ear , he starts cooing at her and giggling. Everyday they give me a paper on the times he has eaten and had his diaper changed... also they pay very close attention to the kids because they will tell me when they notice something different in my kids. For instance ms.falguni told me that my son was not acting the same and the next day he had a cold and a fever! she told me to pay close attention to him overnight and she was right. I can go on and on about how much i love them. The director is also there everyday at the front desk available to talk if you have any concerns. She is not only at the desk but she is also in the classrooms as well , when my kids come in she greets both of them by name ! when my 17 month old first joined , they did not just throw him in with toddlers , they eased him in slowly to make sure he would not have any problems , as far as kids scratching him/biting/fighting since he was about 13 months at the time he was not as advanced as the 18 month old toddlers, he was also much smaller. I will randomly sing a song like ABC's around him to see how he reacts to see if they sing it to him at school and he gets really excited and starts to dance and clap. He did have an indecent one time when he was bit but they gave me a full report on it soon as i walked into the classroom, and it has not ever happened again. I'm not sure on how they tolerate biters , but they did definitely resolve this issue! One time my son had a scratch on his face because he did it himself at home over the weekend and as soon as i walked in , the director noticed it even though it was small and she asked me what happened and i love that ! they are on top of everything and VERY organized! They do have a facebook page but its not as active , i think it would put the cherry on the top if they posted on their facebook page at least twice a week with videos and pictures of the kids doing activities. Im sure i left out plenty of amazing things , but i didnt want to make this post too long.
