But unfortunately City Hall will not allow us to have more than 6 witnesses to witness our wedding.. So the day before our wedding on July 18th we decided to just WING IT and get married in the park and hire an officiant so our Family and Friends can be part of our special day. We went and searched Yelp and found Amber! We told her that we need an officiant the next day and told her the story of our last minute change of heart. Even she was surprised! We asked if she knows a place in San Francisco where we can get married and she suggested an amazing Garden in San Francisco. Everything fell into place from there! We hired Amber to officiate our wedding and thank God she was available with the last minute notice!!! And even though we never met her not once and just communicated thru e-mail she performed a lovely ceremony that we will cherish always and never be forgotten! We got the wedding my wife always wanted, a small intimate garden wedding with our closest Family and Friends! We are so lucky we found Amber and became part of our Special day! We still can't believe that we just Winged our wedding and became one of the most memorable day of our life!!! Amber, Chris, and I sat in a cafe for about an hour where she took the time to get to know our story, our values, and our hopes for our ceremony. I was very stressed from all the planning and organizing, but after I left our meeting, I felt so much weight lifted off my shoulders. Amber made us comfortable from her confidence and compassion. Based on our meeting and a relationship questionnaire, Amber suggested some readings and crafted a ceremony that was simply perfect for us. There were some key things that were important for me to be included, or not, in the ceremony, and her ideas were just right. The day of the ceremony, Amber helped calm me again. And we had SO many compliments on the ceremony, and many for Amber, herself, too! My mom was so excited at how eloquent of a speaker Amber was that she mentioned it several times. When discussing the flow of events, he pulled out this amazing fill-in the blank music time line and showed me a check-off list of songs. If you book with him, he gives a book and other goodies to help you plan out what you want for music. Although he did not have a demo or mix I could listen too, he did take the time to provide me with references that I could call and ask questions. So many of our guests even messaged us after the wedding to tell us how much they enjoyed talking to the sequoia team as well as how incredible all the food and drinks were. The ceremony was perfect, we had our dogs in it too with them being a part of our family, and it was amazing, and so was the reception! I knew the minute I hopped on the phone with him that Grant had good energy. His personality is a great balance of down to earth and positive and energetic. That's the perfect energy for a wedding day! He also has an excellent announcer voice. I used recordings of my late grandparents for music during our cocktail hour and asked that he briefly introduce who was playing. But he ended up making a much more detailed and sweet announcement that really meant so much to me and my family. We had pizza for dinner and he played that's Amore as dinner started. It was so perfect and cute. Once the party got rolling he really knew how to please everyone with all kinds of music tastes and keep the energy up. The father and son team were easy going and nice to work with. Our budget was tight, as we were investing heavily in wedding photography, so we were happy to find them pretty late in the planning process, and appreciated their flexibility. We requested a documentary style video of the wedding with minimal editing, to keep the costs down. Their audio services during the wedding with wireless mics, amplified music and sound mixing were perfect and exactly what we needed. The final wedding video product was beautiful and they did a great job with nice editing and segmentation that captured the feeling and emotions of the day. Their turnaround was quick, and they gave us a beautiful memory that we hoped for, and created affordable duplicate copies for us to share with our family as well.

Being that we live in the Bay Area got married in Lake Tahoe @ Lakeview Lodge - Heavenly we did a lot of corresponding via email. We did Skype right in the beginning to say hi and then met once a few months prior and were able to get down to the nitty gritty and get to know Greg a bit better. He responds quickly and has great ideas and recommendations and really makes the wedding about the bride and groom and what WE wanted. He worked with us to make a timeline and he made sure the night went smoothly. We last minute added the videographer package. We just got married so haven't got out video yet but I trust Greg and his son and am sure it'll be great! Greg is an amazing DJ! He had the dance floor full the whole night and had great song choices. He played the songs we picked and didn't play the ones we didn't want. He had microphones for during the ceremony and speeches.
