I'm not the kind of person to be really stressed out over stuff and I want that stressed about the wedding at all, but with Willow she made everything run just the way we wanted with the staff!!! The ceremony was perfect, we had our dogs in it too with them being a part of our family, and it was amazing, and so was the reception! They gave us a printed photo in a frame with our first kiss and it was such a wonderful gift before Willow left for the night. Truly amazing! We then had our banquet captain and she was phenomenal too!! Traelyn was so kind as well and made the dinner and the rest of the night run smoothly until it was time for us to leave!!! In response to the business and how they handled our complaint after ruining our wedding day... There's nothing that can be ever replace our wedding day. They gave us a $1500 refund and a $50 Cheesecake Factory gift card. We spent close to $30K on our wedding... this no where NEAR covers the cost of what was missed, the complaints my guests and family and myself had on your wedding coordinator, Amy. I felt so dismissed when the manager was defending Amy as if my several guests, family and myself lied about her attitude. Our wedding cake was dropped and Amy lied to me about my wedding cake topper. She never set up our Audio GuestBook per instructions. She didn't follow ANY of my decor instructions like I left notes for her and when my friend tried to help, Amy kicked her out. We asked for our wedding cake topper be saved so we could enjoy some after the wedding and do the 1 yr tradition and our wedding cake was never returned despite it not being served to guests besides wedding party. Over half the cake just was "missing"...I'm sorry but I would have expected WAY more compensation for all that went wrong that day. $1500 and a gift card was outright offensive. For the amount we paid to not have stress and feel taken care of, I would have expected AT LEAST half of my compensation back because we did NOT get what we paid for. I had to start up therapy and have paid money for that to help process this and I'm still hurting. It seems Wedgewood Weddings cares more about the business side of things then their customers that may tens of thousands of dollars to trust them with the best day of your life. We just got married here on 2/14/26 and had the absolute best day. From our first interaction through wedding day we were truly blown away by everyone at sequoia mansion. They were always so incredibly kind and helpful. So many of our guests even messaged us after the wedding to tell us how much they enjoyed talking to the sequoia team as well as how incredible all the food and drinks were. We just celebrated my daughter's wedding this past Thursday. From the beginning until when all was said and done it went smooth, no hiccups or complaints at all. I didn't even have to think, they took care of it all. No hidden costs, no communication issues, the food at the reception was a hit and I couldn't get enough!!! I'd say the only thing, which would be out of their control, are the sounds of the random cars driving by the grass ceremony area. Ok! Let me be clear, the night started off slightly annoying. My car couldn't handle the slope to enter into the parking lot and I scraped the bottom of the car. However, the staff were very welcoming and hella sick. James from MIB laughed at my joke when no one else did. Traelynn was the banquet captain and when I looked to be alone eating by myself, she came and made sure I was alright. Shannon from the bar made drinks at lightning speed that were hella good (virgin spicy margarita). Steve the DJ has an incredible MC voice and actually played all the requested songs. Diana made an incredible selection of food that had all of us, especially my friends, say "holy $#!%!" I couldn't imagine a more perfect venue for my sister and my now brother-in-law to hold their wedding on 12/6/19, the staff were friendly, the groomsmen had an Xbox and drinks in their room and the Bridal room had a vanity for each girl, as well as floor length mirrors to get ready in. Which was really nice! The food was delicious, especially the Salmon with Béarnaise Sauce and there was every type of salad you could imagine! They got married outside and despite it being windy and nippy out, they were all smiles! To capture the memories they had a photo booth with a poloraid and some funny props. My boyfriend and I were Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper since they love Star Wars and of course I grabbed the Mad Hatter hat for another pic with my dad and the flower girls! We made speeches and toasted off the bride and groom and then it was party time! They shared their first dance with the father daughter dance following. I of course began to shed a tear. I would recommend this venue, the staff were great and very helpful with the rehearsal the day before as well! This venue is absolutely amazing. First of all, the site is a historic beautiful house with tons of original pieces like stained glass and hardware on doors. It feels like you're stepping back in time. The fact that it is an all-inclusive wedding made the planning a breeze. Every aspect was top notch, the food/dessert was amazing, decorations were beautiful, the drinks were flowing (so many of our guests said "that bartender was amazing!!!"), DJ Steve absolutely crushed the dance party. They made the entire process straightforward and we knew exactly what the next steps were, how much everything would cost, and what our big day would look like. At the beginning of the process they send a binder with SO much great info that was extremely helpful to plan our big day. The staff was SO accommodating, we would ping them constantly with questions and they would respond quickly with detailed answers or a link for a Zoom call. They are truly pros at this. They made suggestions around our ceremony, order of events, where to do pictures, it took all the stress of the unknown out and made it be the best day of our lives, especially since we planned our wedding in about 6 months. We cannot recommend and thank Sequoia Mansion and their staff enough (especially Amy, you freaking rule!!!). Absolutely excellent. We were the venue's first wedding back after opening from COVID restrictions. Jordan was our coordinator, and we worked closely with Kali as well. Both ladies did a wonderful job. We had our wedding booked over a year and a half in advance, and there was clear and attentive communication the entire way. In the midst of COVID, this communication continued tenfold. The ladies were very flexible to accommodate our wishes while still following COVID guidelines. The legal team was extensive in their reviews of all of my questions regarding what was and wasn't allowed. The actual ceremony and reception was the absolute best. Everything went smoothly, the food was phenomenal, and everyone made it out in good health! The venue was clean, spacious, beautiful, etc. I'd say we'd go back anytime but I think the goal is to just have one marriage... Highly recommend!! read more

At night though if I were alone in this place I'd be scared thinking this place is haunted!! It is very spacious here and there is a beautiful bar with a mantel and 2 waiting areas downstairs with lounge chairs and couches and very big windows to let in natural sunlight. The outside is a very cute area that is nicely covered with shade and trust me in Sacramento you will want the shade. The appetizers that they were passing around were delicious! I must have eaten about 10 of the phyllo brie cups with apple and whenever I could get my hands on the bacon wrapped scallop with balsamic oh believe me I shoved those in my mouth! When my fiancé and I were on the hunt for a wedding venue, the first place we checked out was Sequoia Mansion. We meet with one of the staff and she was so helpful to both of us since we had no idea how to plan a wedding. She showed us the grounds of the mansion, where the ceremony would take place and of course the ballroom. My husband and I told her we would think about it and checked our other venues just to keep our options open. After checking some venues, we decided to go with Sequoia Mansion and put a down deposit and decided to be married on May 3rd, 2015. Sequoia had tons of wedding packages and we decided on the Emerald package which included wedding invitations, table settIngs of vases with flowers, chair slip covers with bows on the back of the chairs, an officiant, a dj, a wedding cake, they decorated the gazebo where the ceremony took place outside, a wedding coordinator, plated dinners (one vegetarian and one with meat), appetizers and bottles oof champagne to go along with an open bar. The day of the wedding went without a hitch and everything was absolutely perfect. The food, music, the dj, the decorations, the cake, the dancing; everything exceeded my expectations. Our daughter got married at the Sequoia Mansion this past Saturday and I can't say enough about this venue and the staff. This is an all-inclusive venue which makes planning simple and easy. Each and every vendor we dealt with was professional and helpful. From the moment we pulled up a year ago to visit the property, to seeing it all come together this past weekend the process was seamless and smooth. Upon signing the contract, we received a binder full of information and recommendations for every part of the wedding. Amy was by our side the whole way guiding us through the process and answering all of our questions in a timely manner. She went above and beyond on the wedding day, making sure that everything met our expectations and that all of our needs were being met. She even arranged for a plate of appetizers and drinks for my daughter and son-in-law to be in the bride room prior to their introduction in the ball room. The food spread was absolutely incredible. There were eight different salads, salmon, tortellini, prime rib, roasted vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, and rolls and butter. We had so many compliments on the food. The full bar and bartender were also top notch. The beautiful wedding cake by Frank Vilts Cakes was so delicious and a favorite of our guests as well. DJ Steve kept the party going. The fresh florals from Couture Weddings by Dottie and the styling by Cocomont Styling were magical. Carl from A Perfect Impression Photography was amazing. We can't wait to see the photos. I am an ordained minister- I was recently asked by my baby brother and his bride to join them in union. It was the end of February when the wedding took place- the rain held out for the pictures but the inside of the mansion is perfect for an indoor wedding, small and intimate. It was a bit sentimental for our family as across the street in the cemetery lies our great grandfather and mother. The ceremony was held in the front area, followed by cocktail hour, then dinner and dancing. The staff was incredible, the bar staff was good, steve the DJ was incredible, Daniel the photographer that came with the package deal was great- especially with the children in pictures; Jordan was our wedding coordinator the day of the wedding and made sure that everything went smoothly. The space itself is gorgeous and well kept. I love the history behind the old mansion and the services provided by Wedgewood. The grounds are smaller than expected when me and my fiancé toured the venue for our wedding. Not a lot of areas to take pictures or parking available for guests. Hotels/air BnB were quite a bit away for our out of town guests with young aged children. All inclusive packages were nice just not exactly what we were looking for. read more

A relative booked in February for a wedding in November. By March, they realized there would not be enough guests for such a large venu. Wedgewood's policy is no refunds once the deposit is paid. Even though they have 8 months to rebook, and they currently have put no money or effort into the event, they would not return the $3000 deposit. That's free money for them for no service provided. We had our wedding on September 14, 2014 and it was super hot!! It also was the day the King fire started. Luckily the smoke from the fire did not really show up until Monday morning, but seeing the large clouds billowing just a few miles up was a bit unnerving for our family and guests. The weather at 105 was not easy to bear but all of my vendors did an amazing job pulling off the most beautiful wedding I could ever dream of. We used the brand new venue for Sequoia Mansion at the nearby gardens of a beautiful country farm house a mile away with a gorgeous walnut tree that we selected as our ceremony location. Ours was to be the very first wedding in this location so many of the details around parking, chair set up, shuttles, refreshments, bathrooms etc. needed to be worked out asap!! Kerri did a fantastic job listening to my concerns and creatively coming up with solutions with her partner Mike. She managed all of the guests and wedding timelines perfectly. The ceremony was magical and everything went off without a hitch. We then shuttled everyone over to the Sequoia Mansion for the reception. This worked out really well and Kerri arranged for refreshments while those waited their turn and champagne on arrival to the mansion while we took pictures with our wedding party and family. Appetizers and Food were great. Everything looked and tasted delicious. Only sad thing was I spent $150 on carmellows that I dropped off for the dessert table and they never made it to table..boo. Emily was a great captain and kept everything moving. Even when I arrived and we finished our first dance only to find out we couldn't get to our tables!!! They were arranged so close together that there was no walking space. I don't know if this was due to the rental company or who, but this was concerning. The dishes for the different food stations were not spread out to each station like I asked but she immediately fixed this and all was great from then on! Dottie and the whole team from Camino Flower Shop went over and above to make our day magical. Dottie extended her own decorations and design ideas to both the ceremony location and the reception and Ben and Maddie were great hanging chandeliers from the trees and making the farm tables magical. The flowers looks gorgeous and the wooded theme really stood out.They all get 5 stars!!! Our photographer was Jaimie from Pyxie studios and she was the best!! 5 stars for her as well. Sugar Lillie did the dessert table - 5 stars Chad was our DJ and he did great. They got a little mixed up on the toasts but pulled through with some quick crowd management that was awesome!! 5 stars Everafterfilms did our video, we don't have it yet so I cant say how that is.. Hopefully we will see it soon!!! Overall we could not have been happier. Everyone said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been too and they really mean it!!! I got married 5/11/2013 at Nello Olivo Vineyard and it was amazing. It was everything my husband and I wanted. It had a casual BBQ feel. We wanted things simple and our wedding coordinator Jacquie made sure everything ran smoothly. The day of, our banquet captain Emily was great. The appetizers were ready once our short ceremony was over, and everyone ate up the grilled shrimp pretty fast. By the time we got there it was all gone, but luckily they had saved us a plate, which was great. She did a great job communicating with us as to when we wanted the cake to be cut and for our buffet, we got served first and they plated it for us too. We still get compliments about our wedding, everyone loved the feel of it, and I know it has much do to with the venue and the staff at Wedgewood having everything run smoothly. Nello's had everything I wanted, it was outdoors with a big lawn (had lawn games) and trees. Had a fire pit (we had s'mores), an awesome barn where we had the reception right in front of, and the restrooms and photo booth were inside. Jacquie was great at making sure we got what we wanted and was very accommodating. We wanted our dog in the wedding which was a non issue. I used almost all their preferred vendors except the photographer because my uncle who does wedding photography did it. FLORIST: Dottie at Camino Flower Shop was great! I loved my flowers and she even let us borrow furniture from her store at no cost, we just had to pick it up bring it back. So many things from her store look like they are straight from pinterest. DJ: The dj's were great. I was pretty simple on what I wanted played and said I didn't want many announcements, but the day of, we decided o have more things announced, we just asked them and they made it happen, it was so easy. CAKE: First we went to Sugar & Spice and loved the almond cake at the tasting but weren't fond of the vanilla frosting. When my fiance asked about the flavor and texture, she made it clear that she wasn't going to change her recipe to please us, which my fiance didn't like. When I called a few days later to see what we could do, as we still wanted to use her, I left a VM and never received a call back. We then had a tasting with D'Agostinis Delights and Nikki was awesome. She specifically made almond cake that tasted even better and we went with her. Our cake looked better than I'd imagined it and the flowers we had on it Dottie provided and looked amazing. PRICING: I was lucky enough to have my parents take care of all wedding costs so I'm not sure what everything costs. I do know that in order to have your wedding at Nello's though, there is a minimum. We had the gold package and were able to take some things out and add others. Such as: used our own photographer, but added 3 hours of the photo booth. We didn't get the personalized napkins and some small stuff but had s'mores. Jacquie was great at making the process easy. OVERALL: I had a great experience with Wedgewood and loved Nello's venue. There is even a guesthouse there that we rented the night before so I could stay there with my bridesmaids and wake up there. Thanks to Jordan we were able to move everything no problem at all. They were always checking in with us through the planning process, which was a huge help because my husband and I tend to be forgetful . When we did forget stuff Jordan was so kind and gracious and got us back on track.
