I was greeted as soon as I entered the salon and was offered coffee. They had a bar with various beverages, festive toppings and creamers. The salon is clean and tidy. Angela came to introduce her self and we discussed what I was thinking of doing to my hair. She did exactly what I asked, and asked multiple times to ensure I was happy with my hair cut. I have very thick hair and she took her time to make sure it was perfect. At the end of the appointment she told me what products would be best for my hair but was never pushy. They offer discounts for new customers and 25 percent off products. All of the other customers coming in were all returning customers and well known by the staff. They have coffee, tea, water and snacks available at the front, and I greatly appreciate that I can Venmo stylists for tips instead of having to bring cash. The client portal on their website makes booking appointments online super easy, and I like that I can take a look at my past appointments and see what services I had done and who the stylist was that performed the service. For reference, I have pretty thick hair with waves to looser curls, and they have all done nice, voluminous blowouts for me. I would just note that they don't use a lot of heat and tension for their blowouts like you might get from a Dominican or Puerto Rican salon. So far I've had Danielle, Paige, and Anna do my hair, and all three were great. I tend to schedule appointments a little last minute, so I usually go with whoever is available. Paige did an amazing job with limited time lightening my hair and getting me the color I wanted, which turned out so beautiful. Danielle and Anna are super friendly, very knowledgeable and took the time to explain any helpful hair care or styling tips. I've had a couple appointments that either took longer than expected or were at the end of their closing time, and they didn't make me feel rushed at all. Angela, your response is entirely untrue. I have NOT been going to this salon for 3 years; more or less one year is more accurate. I was never rude to anyone; in fact, your receptionist was kind and honest about how bad my hair looked. Yes, I came back for correction and I have every right to. I paid a lot of money and should get the service I paid for. I have been to, two; stylists there. They are both inconsistent. One time my hair was great, the next it wasn't. The second stylist did a good job two times, and this time was absolutely terrible. One time, your stylist died my roots, and the gray was not covered, Not my fault. I know a lot of clients that left your salon because of inconsistency. NO ONE wants to come in and have their hair fixed for hours after already spending a long time in the salon. It is a major inconvenience and I would hope you don't charge for correction when it is your mistake. As for a toner this particular time, your stylist saw my hair and should have insisted because of the orange color alone. She never did. She asked if I wanted a toner. How am I supposed to know?????? I am not obligated to have a blowout, I do and did not run out of the salon. Both stylists could have rough-dried my hair to see the color but they didn't and don't because it is not an extra charge that they can make money from. Why in the world would I want to come back a 3rd time and continue to have my hair overprocessed and be in an uncomfortable environment? Pictures don't lie, as they are attached. My partial highlights/balayage turned out amazing and shiny with minimal color damage, and my haircut was exactly what I wanted. I've been a long time customer since 2019 and never have I ever experience such poor management behavior as I did today from April the manger. I always inform the receptionist when I make my appts that my hair is curly and I have not been charged additional styling time ever. However, today with such crass attitude and rudeness, the manager raised her voice and said it's my problem I never got charged and exhibited the worst display of class and low professionalism. I told her I am upset with her attitude and with my hair and I do not want to stay there any longer, she then raised her voice to yell and say if you are unhappy then you shouldn't come back. That is a true example of how businesses lose loyal customers and how others see her behavior as an example with 0 customer service. I did not confirm the appointment as I was going to cancel but the salon was closed already since they closed at 3pm.
