I am especially impressed by the enrichment activities provided. It is hard to make time to take the pups to a group class, and the training that they receive during their weekly visit is a real help. The pups get their share of social interaction, play, some group and individual activities. Jenna took the Reactive Rover class and really benefitted from the training. Courage is taking her first Sidekick class. Lilly will join a class soon. The owner, Stephanie, and manager, Maggie and staff genuinely love dogs. My pups love them right back. Before the first visit or prior to traveling, I can schedule a meet-and-greet. As a Chihuahua and a rescue, it takes a while for Charlie to warm up to new faces. Jessica, the owner, ensures that the sitters are a match for him. They quickly learn his personality and routine. They are caring, responsive and trustworthy. Vivian has been with TMAB for a long time and now seeing Charlie. I appreciate receiving updates and photos from their quality time after each visit. Having adopted Ellie recently, she did not have the best manners, and really had not undergone any sort of training her whole life. We knew she could use the extra help with some professional training. She had poor leash skills, jumped up on us and strangers all the time, and chewed objects around the house. After the two week training camp, Ellie is basically a different dog (see YouTube video below from her second week of training camp). She has great leash walking skills, responds very well to "no", will sit in "place" (her bed) and stay, and is all around a better behaved dog. We even had follow up lessons with Jonathan to make sure we know how all the training commands and techniques worked and to help us stay on top of it. Due to the recent storm we lost security in our back yard because our fence fell. We got photos nearly every day of our dogs enjoying pup cups (additional cost)& we were able to watch the dogs the entire time. The poodle did receive an injury on her paw to which I was notified immediately. Luckily it was superficial& nothing to be concerned about. We even received report cards detailing their behavior while at the boarding center. Everything was handled nicely and it was incredibly easy to upgrade anything we might've wanted to during their stay. I fully intend on coming back to this location.
