Virtual Training: I came to Jamie with a list of problems I was hoping to address. I have a big,…read morestrong, confident Doberman. He was originally given up for behavioral problems, especially issues with cats. While I have worked tirelessly on him through his adolescence... there were some problems I was stuck on and couldn't figure out a way through. After years of crate training, he decided one day he no longer wanted to go in the crate and started to throw his weight around by pancaking on the floor. He was high value item reactive with my sister's greyhound and my Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. I needed help with muzzle training. I needed help with ecollar work. This might sound like a hell of a list. I had already tried trainers in my area in WA state. I met Jamie previously while attending a training seminar and was impressed with her. I reached out to see if we could tackle some of these things via virtual sessions. She exceeded every expectation I could have had! Within one hour via FaceTime we had my Doberman going into the crate again. We did a couple FaceTime sessions with text support in between. I would send her videos and she could text or call me back with advice. All in total we did 4 FaceTime sessions, each time working through new things and making sure I could handle the progression of the training. Things we accomplished: *Clearer communication via leash pressure *Clearer communication via ecollar *Muzzle work (he actually started to enjoy wearing it) *Double training with my puppy and him to deal with resource guarding high value items *Crate training *Introduced Zulu (Ridgeback puppy) to a cat using trained techniques and the ecollar I can now: *Go to my sisters house and introduce Bodhi to her cat safely *Train both dogs together without Bodhi reacting to the puppy being in his space *Get Bodhi into his physical therapy underwater treadmill with no fuss (same concept as the leash pressure regarding the crate) *Prep the dogs food with both dogs on "place" in the same room with no fuss *Give them bully stick/pigs ears/etc. without any reactions from Bodhi. Some people might think doing training via FaceTime won't work. It does. Jamie had a crystal clear way of communicating. She used her own dogs to demonstrate what she meant if necessary. She was able to nail down my own timing with training from Texas to Washington. I was able to get more done with her than any trainer I have ever worked with. Highly recommend.

Loop 410 Veterinary Hospital…read more I took my dog to Loop 410 Veterinary Hospital on 4/22 and had a very disappointing experience over the course of two days. During the first visit, I was told my dog needed bloodwork and X-rays. I initially asked for bloodwork first, but after being told X-rays might speed up the process, I agreed. The vet suspected Cushing's disease and recommended additional testing for the next day. The total for that first visit was $764.75. I was then told to drop my dog off the next morning between 7:00-7:30 AM for an 8-hour test, and I was quoted $450. I dropped her off at 7:10 AM and was told the vet would call me. I never received any call all day. When I finally called at 4:45 PM, I was told the last blood draw still had not been done and wouldn't happen until 6:30 PM. By then, my dog had been there for nearly 10 hours. When I arrived at 6:30 PM to pick her up, I asked about the promised call from the vet and was told my dog had not even been seen by the vet that day. That made no sense considering I was specifically told the vet would contact me. To make matters worse, I was then charged $639.97 instead of the quoted $450. When I asked why, I was told the original amount was only a "rough estimate," which had never been explained to me. I was also told a different test had been run, yet no one contacted me beforehand to explain the change in testing or cost. The lack of communication, unexpected charges, poor organization, and unwillingness to provide management contact information were extremely frustrating. I understand veterinary medicine can be complex, but customers deserve honesty, updates, and transparency--especially when leaving their pet all day and paying significant amounts of money. I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience. Update: manager called me on 4/27 @ 3:51 PM and left a message 4/28: I called for an update on test results at 3:46 PM advised the vet was with a patient and would call me back. No call back today. Office closed at 8 PM.
