When I arrived, I had my two-year-old with me in a stroller. She was calm, quiet, and watching a movie completely unbothering anyone. The salon itself was nearly empty, with only one other client present. Instead of being welcomed, I was immediately met with a very cold and judgmental attitude from the front desk. I was looked up and down, along with my stroller, and told in a very rude and inflexible manner that children were not allowed and that I would either need to leave or reschedule. As a mother, it is not always easy to find time for self-care, and I made the effort to come in for this appointment. The lack of empathy or basic courtesy was honestly shocking. There was zero attempt to accommodate, problem-solve, or even speak kindly. To make matters worse, I was charged $75 (50% of the service) simply for having to leave despite the fact that the situation could have been handled with basic human decency and flexibility. I do want to note that Desi, the hairstylist, did try to be kind while witnessing the way I was being treated, and I appreciate that. I understand this situation was not her fault. However, the overall customer service and experience are a direct reflection of the business she represents. This was the first time I've ever experienced something like this at a salon. I left feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and frankly, discriminated against for being a mother. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon especially to other moms. There are plenty of places that treat clients with respect, kindness, and understanding. This was not one of them.

My hair is a very simple, shorter bob- it had grown out and need to be cleaned up. I was look for a simple but sassy look. I went in with several pictures so that he would have an idea of what I was open to- he dismissed the pictures and told me he knew exactly what to do. This is the worst hair cut I have had in nearly twenty years. I can't decide if he was just being lazy,maybe because my haircut didn't offer much for his creativity,or if he lacks technical skill. He 'stacked' my hairline in the back but did so without blending, so now I have a very heavy hair line in the back, that curls and separates from the rest of my hair. Luckily, it's not so bad that it won't grow out soon enough and I'll start my search for a stylist again. Not only was I able to book my reservation quickly and quietly after I put my toddlers to bed, but I was also able to score a morning appointment before nap time! The location on South Dale Mabry is super convenient to my house and there was plenty of parking spots available. Loved the fun and modern decor and music. Did I mention the awesome childcare area?! The owner obviously gets that busy moms want to get pampered, but do not always have access to a babysitter. My stylist Dali was so sweet and friendly and did an amazing job with my hair! I decided to pay a little extra and added beach waves to my blowout. The result was so pretty and she added enough hairspray so that my hair still looked fabulous five hours later at our photoshoot!

I had hair extensions and color done here by Sandy. I had…read morethem taken out and my hair was destroyed. I was not told how destroyed my hair would be after them. I was very upset, and asked what could be done and was not given any options. All she said was She felt so bad. So I had to make her feel better after what happened to my hair. I cannot find a salon that will touch my hair for color or anything due to how damaged my hair is. I am told I must wait a long time to let it heal. All the while I am left with WAY worse hair that I went in with. I wish i never did this, or at least was told what to expect from my hair after I had these done. Not happy, felt like a Chop Shop, and very expensive for what you get.
