When I arrived, I had my two-year-old with me in a stroller. She was calm, quiet, and watching a movie completely unbothering anyone. The salon itself was nearly empty, with only one other client present. Instead of being welcomed, I was immediately met with a very cold and judgmental attitude from the front desk. I was looked up and down, along with my stroller, and told in a very rude and inflexible manner that children were not allowed and that I would either need to leave or reschedule. As a mother, it is not always easy to find time for self-care, and I made the effort to come in for this appointment. The lack of empathy or basic courtesy was honestly shocking. There was zero attempt to accommodate, problem-solve, or even speak kindly. To make matters worse, I was charged $75 (50% of the service) simply for having to leave despite the fact that the situation could have been handled with basic human decency and flexibility. I do want to note that Desi, the hairstylist, did try to be kind while witnessing the way I was being treated, and I appreciate that. I understand this situation was not her fault. However, the overall customer service and experience are a direct reflection of the business she represents. This was the first time I've ever experienced something like this at a salon. I left feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and frankly, discriminated against for being a mother. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon especially to other moms. There are plenty of places that treat clients with respect, kindness, and understanding. This was not one of them.

I have Alopecia Areata and an Autoimmune Thyroid condition so I deal with hair shedding/fall-out and texture issues from time to time. She has helped to make my hair look healthy, full, and shiny. My needs are usually very simple. Long hair with gray root coverage. Although I did have balayage for several years. It looked really nice, but I use infrared saunas often and it can sometimes be drying to the hair so I've let the balayage grow out since. Whatever your hair needs are, give Damaris a try. A silver toner washed/rinsed in my hair to give it two tones. Can't wait to get back in for the color! Kacie is super fun to talk with and laugh for hours. Played music on her Bluetooth speaker and shared our favor music artists. The whole process was about 4 hours but it went by so fast! I will say those shampoo sinks aren't the most comfortable when ya have to lay with your head back, a bit odd way of sitting. Had a few times where my hair was being rinsed and I raised my neck up too much and got water down my back. (My mistake). It is best to make an appointment here because as color processing takes a long time and a lot of work. There is a woman who also does eyebrow threading and her name is Mary. It's best if you have a consult before doing anything drastic to your hair color to make an appointment with Kacie. That's what I did and we hashed out ideas and I showed her photos of what I wanted.
