Hair prices have officially entered orbit. Highlights, balayage, all of it feels like a luxury event now, so I am at the stage where I pay for the haircut and handle the rest at home. Yes, I do my own bleaching at home. No, we are not unpacking that. Shelbie was assigned to me at HAAS Salon and I genuinely loved her. Professional, funny, easy to talk to, and not one comment about the state of my hair. She kept the conversation lively and made the whole appointment feel relaxed instead of awkward. Time passed by quickly.. Now, a small but important note. I brought my mother because that is just what we do. We grabbed food next door and sat in the waiting area finishing our vegetable rolls before my appointment. Apparently, that is not the vibe. Also, if your guest is not getting a service, they would prefer they not hang out in the waiting room. To be clear, Shelbie handled both the eating in the waiting room and my mother observing the entire process with total grace. She stayed professional and kind throughout. In the end, my haircut turned out beautifully. Clean, Layered Just Right, exactly what I wanted... current on trends too. So thank you, Shelbie. Got a next day appointment, as soon as I walked in they checked me in and in less than 2 minutes Hannah came took me and started working on me , we had a conversation about what I wanted on my hair cut , it came out perfect! Nice long curtains blending on the sides very natural look , such a good hand cutting! she took very good care of my hair added my toner and a nice mask treatment, a very gentle blow dry all this in an hour time frame ! Definitely time efficient! All the attention to one single customer at a time, very detailed and friendly. I will not be seeing Bailey again. My main issue is that she cut off more of my hair than I agreed to. After saying I felt like I lost a lot if length, she tried to convince me it wasn't that much.. She also kept saying "It looks so much better", as if it's her hair.. This felt like a stylist that does what they think will look best, rather than what you ask for. I also feel that a stylist should check in with you periodically and ask questions for more clarity, or explain what they're doing, (especially if you are not a regular) but she did not. read more

When I got to my haircut appointment, I let Nikki know my problem and she took care of it like a pro! I was nervous and hopeful and in the end my expectations were so exceeded! The salon is very clean and professional and the front desk was kind and efficient. After a very short wait I was introduced to Bailey. She was friendly, patient and very attentive during our consult. She really listened to all the nuances of what I wanted and didn't want in my color. I feel that she truly cares about her clients and wants their hair to be the healthiest it can be. After the amazing two process color and hydrating treatment I added to my service my hair looks AMAZING!!!! She NAILED the color and my family says it's the best my hair has ever looked. Long story short, I needed to get a huge chop because the ends of my hair were severely damaged from bleach (not from this salon), and I knew I needed to just rip the bandaid and get it done. I had long hair my whole life, so this was a huge deal to me. I submitted the new client form and received an email to confirm an appointment time within an hour. I booked a cut & bayalage and was seen by Shelbie. Prior to arrival, the team took my temperature and had me sanitize my hands. I then met with Shelbie who was really sweet and walked me through my consult. She went over all the details of the process and pricing so there were no surprises. My time in the chair flew by and I felt really comfortable. Their stylists care about the health of your hair and really listen to what you want. I dye my hair blonde and need an intentional root blend to let my outgrowth come in for up to 6 months (the only way to preserve the health of my very fine hair). They toned, blended, cut perfectly! I've gotten so many compliments and have now suggested 3+ girls to go - who all loved the salon too! I disagree with the few negative reviews, IMO $250 for full color, olaplex, toner, & cut in south Tampa is a GREAT price. Especially if you value being blended and toned correctly, rather than getting chunky highlights, brassy color, and excessive damage. read more
