Held at the GW's Charles E…read more Smith Center, the convention is all about showcasing a huge selection of a variety of sneaker brands that attendees can check-out, put on their wishlist, sell, trade, and even purchase. I'm a huge collector of sneakers, so having the opportunity to attend such a convention was such a treat! I love that it was super local and it was opened for anyone with any range of interest to attend - you just need to purchase a ticket! There were also some celebrity guests (DeSean Jackson and DJ QuickSilva), and with the ticket purchase, one had a meet & greet opportunity with both individuals :D There was also a $500 grand prize for the best pair of shoes that were sported! It was great to see sneaker fanatics in one place and to network and make new friends with fellow sneaker lovers.
