After the massage, I felt relief in the sore areas of my muscles, and I was so sore for the next day or two. This was definitely a very deep tissue massage! Also, this is not a relaxing spot. Compared to previous experiences at other venues, I don't think that my worker had taken formal classes. I was left to get dressed, and when I did, I was asked for a tip with humility. Thankfully I was not harassed for more money, as I've read happens at other places. I picked up a card on the way out: Golden Phoenix Massage. Not the same as what is on the door. Maybe they did, or are, rebranding? Summary: It was a good, basic relaxation massage for $60. If you want a more therapeutic experience, go to one of the many places around that charges $90 or more.

Normally I see Becca who does an amazing job however, this time I was scheduled with Tina. Prior to the massage, I explained my chronic back pain and preference of a deep tissue massage. She refused to give me a deep tissue massage and mentioned that I wouldn't even need to take my clothes off and we would be doing abdominal breathing as part of the massage... She was extremely hostile and not friendly like I have typically experience in the past. I would still recommend Theta however, I would not recommend Tina. I am a few months postpartum and was really looking forward to having relief from my chronic back pain and drove 40 minutes round-trip for nothing. Extremely disappointing.

It was a regular back massage. They didn't really speak English so it was hard to communicate. They didn't tell us if we take off our clothes or leave it on. The massage was ok. I was on my feet and she never massaged my feet. The pressure was okay but not great. She seemed like she might have not known what she was doing. My husband liked his massage but I would probably skip this place.
