The salon is clean and smells fresh and the lady at the front was super polite! For our massage we were in the same room with a small dividing wall between the beds. It was dim and had soft music playing, perfect ambiance! I didnt get the names of the two ladies who did ours but they were fabulous! The pressure was consistent and they took their time working out the giant knots in my shoulders. They do walking massage there as well but this time we opted not to try it. Everything about our visit was fantastic! I feel like a bowl of jello now! We have decided to go back once a month for a date day to just relax! I would highly recommend this place! One thing to keep in mind, when they say undress they mean it. I left my undies on and she had no problem moving them! ( I didn't mind, it gave her uninterrupted access to my entire back)

Personally didn't care that she was massaging me with gloves. I can understand it; I was not too fond of it. I wanted her to put some force into it, and I asked her, but it didn't happen thoroughly--a total disappointment for me. I came in to treat my sister. I can't buy her a gift certificate because she will not go. From the pictures, I knew it was not going to be anything fancy and wanted to give them a try because there are some excellent reviews on here. My sister said she enjoyed it and the man did a good job and left her feeling relaxed.

I have thick hair, but did not think it was necessary to take two hours, and constantly comment on the amount of it. She originally said it would be $35, but the price kept going up. I had shoulder length hair going in, and I ended up paying $60, excluding the tip. Recently, I wanted wispy bangs so I decided to go to Earl Knight because it is local. I made an appointment the day before for 12:15pm. I got there the next day 10 minutes early and wasn't even acknowledged by the hairstylist (Kaytlyn). I sat down and observed the haircut she was performing. As she was cutting hair, she took multiple personal phone calls, which in my opinion was very unprofessional. Not to mention her foul mouth and attitude toward those she was talking about. Finally at 12;45 I asked Tori if she had any openings for a bang trim because I recognized a Dad and His two sons had an appointment at 12:30 and I did not want to keep them waiting longer than had. Tori told me that she did not have openings and once again restated that I had such thick hair, bangs would look like a mullet on me. It's really not that thick at all. Kaytlyn overheard our conversation and asked what I was saying. After she was told that I had a bang trim at 12:15 and reminded that it was nearly 1:00, she turned to me and told me that she has three haircuts ahead of me after the fade she was already working on. When I asked what time the haircuts were scheduled for, she told me "12:30 but they are a walk in" I then said "oh okay, well mine was at 12:15." The Dad then started that his appointment was scheduled ahead of time and was after me. Kaytlyn ignored him and told me that she was going to finish the haircut she was doing and then start on the boys and then get to me. Are you serious?! She proceeded to tell me that I can stay and wait or go get lunch or Starbucks and then come back for my cut when she was ready. By now it was past 1pm and I did not have any desire to get my haircut when it worked for her. it was $15 trim and she pushed me aside to get to the customers who were paying more. I walked out and did not say anything else, but I definitely will not be going there again. Sad because it is so hard to find a shop around the tri area

Still my favorite place for a massage in Big Bear. This is our third visit in three years, and…read moreevery time it has been wonderful. Today, my friend had a 90 minute massage with Kristee and I had a 90 minute massage with Angie. They both were incredibly good. The best massage I've had in a long time. Plus, they are both so nice. The 90 minute massage included a hot stone massage and aromatherapy. It was $155. Totally recommend, and we will be back on our next visit to Big Bear!

Read to the end-Important lesson! Very nice massage and…read morefacial for both my daughter and myself. We received a 2-hour treatment which was perfectly fine. More expensive than I've ever paid even on a cruise ship, but I get it-it's a resort town. Everything went great until it didn't. Be aware that in the end, they charge a hefty credit card fee, as each therapist is an independent contractor. We didn't know this. With their already high prices (conveniently including their own chosen amount tip already included for themselves) the credit card fee can be well over $20. Then I'm also paying a credit card fee on the top? Nah. Since I'm not really into paying unnecessary fees, I was then told that one technician takes only Venmo or Zelle. And the other ONLY Zelle. This complicated things as we don't typically use those payment apps (we do use Apple Cash, but neither accepted those. And of course we weren't carrying around $700 in cash. (I could have brought cash, had I known). So then the uncomfortable awkwardness came. Yeah I could have just paid the fee and been done but I was aggravated that this was not disclosed anywhere on their website. Not that they were independent contractors nor the % fee for credit cards nor the limited payment apps. We double checked while there and couldn't find anything on their site. Additionally when I made the reservation I was prepared to prepay and offered but the receptionist stated that we would pay at the time of service, which is most frustrating because she didn't mention why or anything about additional fees or limited payment options. So, all the stress that was just removed IMMEDIATELY came back. It was embarrassing also because a large party came in and crowded the small waiting area and some other older technician came over and demanded we pay NOW so they could begin with their new clients. I thought she was "the boss" but no, just asserting power. Because of that I'm tempted to even lower another star rating, which I did just because of that. Our therapists were nice about it, but looked worried, which they needed not be. We are good people. We worked it out with making a phone call and having the 2 payments sent. But I thought people should know this before they go: The techs are independent contractors. They each add on their own tip (as stated on their website) but how much that is-you don't know Some techs only take certain types of payment And one older tech was not compassionate about the situation and pretty much humiliated us for not wanting us to pay extravagant needless credit card fees. We will try a different place next time. But at least others will know if they read this.
