As a result, I chose not to renew my mailbox at the end of my contract. Shortly afterward, I attempted to ship several boxes using a client's UPS account number -- something I have done many times in the past without issue. The new staff refused to process the shipment and again could not provide an explanation. I went to a FedEx location instead, where they shipped the boxes using the client's account number with no hesitation. Finally, a package arrived for me at the store, and I was charged a $3 fee just to pick it up. As a small business owner, I understand how small gestures and consistent customer service can build long-term loyalty. These recent changes created unnecessary friction and ultimately pushed me to take my business elsewhere.
