On Friday the snow storm was horrible and that was our day to get back home we were stuck on the mountain, no tow truck was able to get to us to take us down, they didn't plow the roads and my BF and I were stranded and thinking we were going to sleep in our car which was horrible worst day for us and once we found A+ mountain ride services on google they were able to get us down the mountain and home safely. Last weekend we went up to see the snow in our brand new car and it somehow started to have transmission issues and we had to pull over to the side of the road and we could not use the vehicle so we were stuck. It was snowing heavily and we were freezing and we were lucky enough to get a ride by Joel a chain installer who helped us into town. He connected us with Jennifer and Dennis who own A+ Mountain Ride services. Jennifer picked us up in a Toyota Rav 4 and warmed us up. What a delightful woman. She gave us all the lowdown on how things worked in Lake Arrowhead, Crestline and Big Bear and calmed our nerves as we headed back down the mountain safely and warm. She knew we had to get a Lyft to home on So. Orange County and waited until we were on our way. I am grateful that we found Jennifer and felt like family by the time we left her vehicle. We did not meet Dennis her partner but all I can say is Jennifer was awesome and saved our day! I highly recommend her services if you need a ride around town or down the mountain. They do long distance rides as well! Jennifer even took photos of our car on the side of the road and sent them to us for a few days while it sat there waiting for a tow truck. A big disappointmnet! I have used their services a couple times in the past, and was happy, so happy I gave them a very generous $100.00 tip, for a $225 ride. Unfortunately, that was all forgotten. $265.00 to go 80 miles? When asked, why, the exorbitant amount, I was told they didn't want to pick me up at 8:00am on Saturday and 9:00am suited them better. After walking from my home to Goodwin's, I didn't have the energy to walk back. I do not know what I would have done if Dennis did not pick my daughter and I up and take us home. I would highly recommend this company. I had just recently I had surgery down the hill they picked me up, brought me home, walked me down a flight of stairs with my walker. The mountain community is lucky to have Jennifer and her team serving them. Friendly, reliable and fairly priced. Yesterday my 16yo son and I were finishing a 50 mile hike and we found ourselves at a parking lot in a day-use recreation area about 6 miles out of Arrowhead. We decided to call for a ride rather than walk that last distance. What I didn't know was that the road to this lot had been closed months earlier. This company sent a car as far as they could, texted a pin so we could navigate the maze of back-country roads, and waited the the 30 minutes it took us to hike to them. Rather than be frustrated by the wait time, we were greeting by a driver who met us to help with our gear. The AC in the car was amazing, but the friendly, helpful attitude by the driver was what made this ride so noteworthy. Then we arranged the time for and pick up location for a ride later in the day. Five minutes before the designated time we got a friendly, "here now, take your time" text. Another driver, and another great conversation. Can't recommend them enough! read more

These folks are absolute lifesavers. My car broke down -- in the middle of a snowstorm -- leaving us stranded on the mountain, waiting days for the snow to melt so we could get a tow. Not only did Jennifer answer my call right away, she immediately jumped into action, recommending specific local tow truck companies and mechanics, and assuring us that everything would be all right. When we finally got our situation sorted out (with Jennifer's help and reassurance), she showed up to drive us all the way back home to Los Angeles.
