With no Ubers or Lyfts, and not being from the area, we would have been stuck if it wasn't for them! I am staying at a house in Lake Arrowhead and walked to the village. I couldn't walk back because I developed a blister on my foot. I tried Uber, Lyft which had no drivers available. I called a taxi service which wanted $40 to take me 1 mile. I called A+ and he said he could be there in 20 minutes. Price was reasonable. He was on time and very friendly. Dennis saved our day! After multiple, unsuccessful calls to other taxi services in the neighboring area, Dennis answered our call on the first ring. He provided accurate updates on his estimated time of arrival and was upfront about the cost of the trip. He was punctual and took us to our vehicle. We had been stranded the day before due to the snow and our lack of tire snow chains. He helped us shovel some of the snow out of the way in order to get the car out and even guided us all the way back to the main road and ensured we made it there safely! After driving us round trip to the local auto shop to get snow chains, she stayed with us until our chains were fully installed and we felt confident enough to drive. I had a great experience with Jennifer. She was very good at communicating with me over text when I landed and had clear instructions on where I could go to meet her. During the drive up to Lake Arrowhead, she was very considerate for me and my friend who both mentioned we tend to get motion sickness. She make sure to keep the inside of the car cool and checked to make sure we were feeling okay through the windy drive. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I was hesitant to use a ride service in the mountains because most companies try to price gouge you but they are surprisingly inexpensive to say the least. They were at least half the price of other local ride services I've used and they were extremely fast to pick me up after I initially called, within 5 min. The driver was extremely kind and polite and knew how to drive well in the inclement weather we recently had. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone near or around the mountain. This service is a lifesaver! Jennifer is badass and safe driver who helped rescue our family off the mountain after being stuck without a car in a snowstorm. They're responsive and communicative. Not cheap but transparent with their prices, and worth it if you have no other option. They're reliable and I highly recommend them if you're in a jam.
