My review was removed. I just saw the response NOW! NO Sharon, I never said you were the movers but yes, you did charge $5,000 for 3 days work. My memory is NOT clouded, I would not forget the disappearance of all my father's tools from his workrm-right next to the kitchen & part of the house. My mother & I went out for 45 min. during the 3 days you & crew worked packing & organizing. ONLY time we left. We got back to find all his tools gone (I had promised them to the Miami Mission). The room was swept clean. Oh no, no one knew ANYTHING. It's a small house, you were in charge while we were gone. No burglar would go unnoticed or sweep the rm. I went to call the Mission to see if they came early & you jumped in front of me-screamed we didn't have time for that (what-a phone call to ck up on what happened)! You were so loud, excited you actually startled me. The call should have been made to the police-as someone said, those tools would have reappeard pretty fast. One does NOT forget things like that. You disparaged many of the things we were deciding on keeping or donating. It's too bad people like my mother & myself have to call on people we have to trust on faith. Too often it doesn't work. A Move Made Easy was a complete nightmare. They promised they would be " broom clean" the evening the day before the closing's official 3pm "realtors walk thru". They were expected in the morning the day before but movers did not show up until 1:30 in the afternoon . It caused me to have reschedule my flight the next day which cost me personally an additional $1000. Instead we found ourselves unscrewing the fixed cabinets and finishing an hour before walk thru the next day. Now they want an additional $1000 from me. Moving is a stressful endeavor during the best of times but moving a senior parent is downright hard. Sharon's company was referred to me by my realtor, and several senior communities I visited. Before choosing A Move Made Easy, I met with two other senior moving advisers (since I try to make the most informed decisions as possible), and lets just say thank goodness for Sharon. She never steered us wrong, took all of my concerns into consideration- emotional and financial- and worked with us during this hectic time. We needed a lot of help to empty a large apartment of furniture and many years worth of belongings, donate items and pack and move all types of belongings including sentimental items, pictures, paintings etc. A Move Made Easy removed a lot of stress from an otherwise very stressful time. My siblings and I all live out of state. My father was in the hospital and I came to Florida to be with him and be an advocate for him. He ended up getting a pacemaker put in and was in a rehab facility for a couple weeks. His wife is a hoarder and their home was full of boxes and papers everywhere. Every available surface was occupied with stuff and it was an obstacle course and unsafe for him to come home to. I was overwhelmed by the amount of stuff and the disorganization of the home. His wife was in the hospital herself. I was referred to Sharon by a geriatric care manager. When I met Sharon her compassion and caring touched me. The 2 women she sent to clean up and organize the apartment to make it safe for my dad to come home were absolutely AH-MAZING!!! Sharon and her team provided superb service for my senior gentleman client from San Diego. I coordinated with her to manage the move on the Florida end. Prior to that, she gave me detailed dimensions of the client's new house so we would know exactly what was going to fit. Sharon oversaw the moving crew as they placed the furniture to the client's specifications. She made sure all his art was hung and the house decorated to his liking. Her team even went back to downsize and sort through the boxes marked for storage. Sharon worked with the realtor in FL to make sure the house was ready for the move-in. I can't put enough stars onto this review for this company. Our mother and father passed away and we live in Philadelphia. It was too difficult for us to keep going down so we handed the project over to them. They were professional, terrific, honest and took care of it from head to toe, selling items that we didn't want and clearing out the entire contents of the house. They made it inspection clean and got us a realtor who had to deal with a very difficult client as well and who earned her commission ten times over. I can't say enough about this company. It removed all the headaches from our lives at a time when we were grieving and couldn't bear to deal with any of this. I highly highly recommend this company to anyone. When my mother decided to move north to be closer to family, we assumed it would take some time to sell her house but a surprisingly quick sale left us wondering how we would get everything done in time for her closing date. Living out of state and being unable to get time off from our jobs on short notice, only complicated matters for my siblings and me but after speaking with Sharon, we immediately felt like things were under control. Sharon is absolutely the best! We had a situation where we had to move my mom quickly and we couldn't be there, as we live in CT and GA. She visited with my mother, assessed the apartment to see what would fit and made her feel comfrotable with unfortunate situation. My mother is not the most organized and she really helped put her life back in order. And the best part of it all is that she did it all before Hurricane Irma hit Florida. This is a perfect name for this company. My mother suddenly died and I and my siblings needed to clean out her apartment. Sharon and her team made this challenging activity as easy as possible. We all lived about 1400 miles away and we had one weekend to clean out the apartment. We marked what we each wanted to have shipped to us and left the rest to A Move Made Easy. The threw out everything else and meticulously packed and shipped to us just what we wanted. Everything arrived intact and the packing was extremely professional. As they were cleaning out the apartment, Sharon told us that if anything of value was found, they would let us know. Sure enough, they found $400 and a jar full of money, which they gave to us and demonstrates their honesty and ethics. The people who helped with the move her professional, caring, and very honest. Sharon also told us that if there was anything of value that we did not want, she would try to sell it for us and give us the proceeds, which would help to offset the costs of the move. As it turned out, there was one item of value that we did not want and she was able to sell it and gave us the proceeds, which was a considerable amount of money. I have only positive things to say about Sharon and this company. I recommend them highly to anyone who needs help with a move. You will not be disappointed. read more

WE moved my mom up to NY from Sunny Isles last April. But now we had to get the apartment ready to sell, and pack up her stuff (and a lot of it). I was flying down from NY and taking off from work, so time was a factor. Thank goodness for Sharon and her team. What was a totally anxiety provoking situation for me, she made so easy. She was comforting herself, explaining how everything from packing, to moving, to deliver would work. And her packer, Kethera (not sure of spelling) was so A-MAZING. OHMYGOD, in 4-1/2 hours Kethera packed up just about everything that would have taken me weeks. I was just amazed watching her. She is a doll. And the mover, Mick, also, explained everything. And the driver, Kelve, who came to take out the boxes, again, explained (and yes, I needed to have it explained a hundred times). While I was only having Sharon take care of a small portion of this move (no furniture, YET) it was very overwhelming for me and as I said, she was wonderful. We were disgusted with this outfit. Had to pay for an hour transportation each day. Used it two days and all we got for 10 hours (actually 8 working and 2 driving) was a bunch of stickers on our stuff telling the movers what to move and what not to move. We could have told them that in two hours without using stickers. In addition it was all open-ended without a firm price. We got another outfit and they gave us a flat price, packed us up and unpacked us. We thought this outfit was very overpriced for the service they gave us. read more
