This place is excellent! Casual and laid back environment with small store attached to restaurant where you can buy health stuff and herbs etc. I am vegetarian all my life and always dread to go restaurant since there is always 1-2 vegetarian choices and typical restaurant and never get choices. This places have so many options and they are healthy and delicious!!! They also offer wheat free, vegan, gluten free etc options, fresh juice and healthy smoothies. This place is a great little shop/restaurant that I would have never discovered before, but apparently has been around since the 70s or something. The food here is all organic and fresh. And once you are done eating you can get vitamins and supplements and other healthy snacks. It's a healthy lifestyle centered place. Their security system is pretty solid as I saw about 15 teams of cops and ambulance employees in there eating. Worth trying out even though the portions are small, but they are satisfying. A very interesting place. You walk in and it looks more like a grocery store. A quick glance told me it was a health food place- all the items for sale were some kind of gluten-free, vegan, etc. The menu has a lot of assortment: lots of salads, healthy burgers/sandwiches, tofu scrambles, vegetable dishes, and even some tex mex items. I got the vegetarian chili, which is delicious and if I didn't know, I would have thought there was meat in there. It wasn't quite hot enough, which would explain why my buzzer went off before I even sat down at the table. I also got a side salad, which was fine, but the honey mustard with it tasted way too similar to mayonnaise. One friend got the spinach and mushroom quesadillas which looked wonderful. Another got the veggie bowl with chicken and marinara sauce. An interesting concept. But she raved about it. Prices were a little high for what you get. I guess that is what healthy does for ya. This would be a vegetarian/vegan delight. Desserts all looked delicious! We didnt try any, however. Not very crowded for the 12:00 lunch hour. Heard rumors it might be closing. When we asked her she was super rude and said she already gave us one. The chef on the other hand was helpful and waved us in when the food was ready. The owner was very friendly. I absolutely love coming here for lunch! They recently revamped the menu & I had the veggie flatbread wrap with vegan cheese & the split pea soup. THE SPLIT PEA SOUP WAS SO GOOD!! I liked the wrap too, but that split pea soup got my tastebuds beggin for more. After I eat I always go over to the store side and buy a cookie or some chocolate. I came here the first time with friends who love the place and suggested I try the Greek Wrap. It was very basic, but tasted great. I noticed a lot more interesting items on the menu and resolved to come again, take my husband, and try some of the more unique items on the menu. While not exactly something new, I ended up getting the "Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich" - it just sounded too good to pass up. My husband ordered the vegetarian beef tacos. I hate saying it, but they were both really really bland. The bread on my sandwich was dry and seemed somewhat stale. The flavors of the chicken salad did not come out at all and didn't help with the dryness. One thing that is common of all three items I've had here is that the ingredients are basic, uninspired, and cheap. I left feeling like I'd really wasted money and have no interest in going back. I ordered the Salmon entrée and it was fantastic. The basil pesto rice was ah-mazing and the veggies were cooked perfectly. My first time here and I'm not generally a healthy eater but this place makes it easy. The flower garden at the entrance is beautiful. My friend had the chips and salsa, which was very tasty also. We both ordered the Chef's Choice "Quinoa & Zoodle Salad" and thought it was sooooo delicious - fork-tender and moist grilled chicken breast on a combination of zucchini Zoodles, quinoa, spinach, carrots, cranberries, and toasted walnuts with Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing. I can here with a friend for brunch on a Saturday morning shortly after opening. We were the first ones in the restaurant, but that was okay because food came out quickly. It's actually a small grocery store and a restaurant mixed together. There were many natural and organic items for sale in the store. The only reason why I'm giving this place a 4 star instead of 5 is because things were still slightly disorganized (and I understand) but a lot of the stuff were still all over the place when we came in. The menu for this place was great. They had a vegetarian substitute for basically each menu item. The food was REALLY GOOD. It tasted really fresh and had all of the right hints of flavor to it. I am so glad that I found this place to eat at in the future. I would definitely recommend this as a place to go for lunch! Arriving at the restaurant we parked in one of their designated places and walked in. After spending a considerable sum for 5 people we came out to find a note on the car windshield telling us we should not have used their space. Taking the note back in I asked the woman behind the counter if she was the owner and she said no. So I asked to speak to the owner about the nasty note, and then she told me she was the owner.. She told me that a customer wrote it and put it on our car having seen us exit the car and head for another store, which never happened. I believe she wrote it. She never apologized or tried to make it right. As for the meal. The called it potato soup, but it was vegetable. Overall the food was fresh, but ordinary. The fact that this store is owned by this stupid woman will keep me from ever setting foot in there again. read more

I grew up coming here and still come as an adult. I have always loved their Greek salad with grilled chicken on top or with a side of black beans. Add their pepper to the beans and it's extra good. Their chicken salads are great to take home. Tasty and healthy eating. read more

I normally like this place very much. It seems to have gone downhill a bit since the new management took a year or 2 ago. Today I went out of my way so that I could get a to-go meal and grab a couple of items. I did not have shoes on and was asked by one (manager?) to have shoes on the next time I came in. The other person (a manager as well?) proceeded to say it was a "health code violation". Texas law does not require shoes. Also, when I got there and was ordering, there was another patron that was upset because when she asked for a second plate for her salad, she was given an attitude by the wait staff and was complaining to these managers about it.
