Do not use this company! I trusted them to take care of our belongs as they seemed to be a reputable company. They seemed easy to work with and after just having a baby we wanted movers that were hassle free and trustworthy. (They broke a dresser and a rocker from the nursery) They are fine so long as your expectation is that you just want your items delivered. If you expect them to be in the same condition as they left your house, that's where they fall short. They broke several items and when you file your claim, they initially send you a rather intense email about how it's better to settle for $500 than continue with the process. We chose to continue as our items were worth significantly more than $500. We have now received an offer of about 30-50 cents on the dollar. And 1 item they will not reimburse for because I can't prove that the mid-century modern record counsel was working before they smashed it. Even though I have a photo of the top open right before the move. Long story short- if you do use this company, take photos and videos of all of your belongings to insure that you aren't left with nothing at the end. Or faced with spending even more money to replace the things they broke. They are very expensive and I thought I was hiring a company that stood behind their work. I apparently did not. I am still trying to figure all this out, but it seems to me that if you hire movers and buy insurance you should not be out even more money to replace your furniture that they broke. read more

Highly recommended by a friend, but we had about 8 items damaged or completely destroyed. Plus, damage to the walls and doorway of our new home. The primary reason seemed to be the crew's desire to finish their day early so they didn't pack things in the truck properly and tried to move too many items at once, stacked high as they carried them in. (Our move took three days.) The insurance company dragged their feet a bit, sometimes not even responding to the company rep who was trying to get the problems resolved. In the end, we got most of the money we asked for but only after having to stamp our feet and get demanding. All in all, good the company was less expensive and had a good sales person, but we paid for it with damaged and destroyed items. read more

I hired this company for a local move in June 2024 and while it went fairly well, the movers were careless with my property in more ways than one. It seemed that several of the crew were being trained on the job and didn't know how to carry furniture carefully. They damaged a buffet and a trunk, and although I was offered and asked for repair of the trunk they refused and instead gave me a small amount of money for the cosmetic damage. One of the movers told me the damage to my buffet was caused by the inexperienced movers using the dolly incorrectly. And I had a St. Francis statue which is very heavy. When I got it, I was warned not to pick up the statue by the hands, which were inserted into the arms, so it was not all one piece. I had put some glue on one hand to stabilize it but it was not strong enough to allow one to pick up the statue by the hands. I told the movers that, but when it was delivered to the destination one of the movers, even though he was told not to, tried to pick it up by the hands. One came out, which is fine, but then he dropped it on concrete and it shattered. Not only that, but when I had to go back to my house that I was moving out of to pick up a few items, I found empty energy drink cans and plastic water bottles in my yard where they had just thrown them. The moving company initially refused to reimburse anything for the damage to the statue, saying it happened because the glue failed even though no amount of glue would have been strong enough to allow someone to pick up the statue by the hands. After going back and forth for more than a month, in August, they finally agreed to full replacement value. I just received the check this month (August 2024). I received the settlement check in October 2024. I don't understand why, I had to battle and wait nearly four months to receive compensation for the damage that was done. read more

We recently sold our house and had to move our belongings out and into storage until we found another home, so we contacted Mrazek Moving to do the job. We boxed up the majority of smaller personal items and they did the rest. They arrived at 9 am with 5 guys and covered the floors up as not to scratch or track dirt in and by 4:30 pm they had our 3500 square foot house plus garage and patio all loaded on on way back for storage. The gentleman were all polite and extremely hard workers barely stoping for a break. They moved my mother in laws furniture into my house today. Mike, the driver, was great. The other guy, Dan, was rude to my mother in law. He refused to wear a mask properly with it covering his nose. He complained a lot about her wish for him to properly wear a mask during a pandemic. In short, customers' safety is not a concern. I've heard horror stories about moving companies so my expectations were very, very low. But the guys on both ends of the trip and the driver were really nice. I'm sure in this business, experience is all based on how good of packers and drivers you get. Our driver Keith was really understanding, careful, and nice. A-Mrazek has been the worst moving experience I have had. They didn't bring a large enough truck so a third of our household contents were put on a second truck. We're now told that th second truck won't arrive until at least 10 days after our agreed latest delivery date. Think twice before using them. read more

Our Sales rep helped us out of a huge bind. We had originally obtained a quote from him and thought it was too high. So... we shopped other moving companies and found one that was less. Well, they didn't show up on December 26th. We called our rep and he rallied to find a way to get our move accomplished on the next day. The actual moving crews are awesome! So friendly, professional and also efficient. Both times I've bought the crews lunch because they worked so hard. They are meticulous with protecting your home before they start and they do a great job cleaning up. They have a corporate employee who stays in touch with you all the way through, calling you through the middle of the day on moving day. Steer clear! The estimate given wasn't even close to what I paid and ended up costing considerably more, double in fact. Several of my items are missing and have never turned up, and there are many broken and damaged items. I purchased the insurance and they wouldn't reimburse on everything claiming the damage to the furniture was old, which it wasn't, or that I didn't pack correctly. There was an entire box that every item was broken. It's as if someone dropped the whole box. read more

I want to admit upfront, that up until my furniture got delivered, I would have rated this company with 4-5 stars. But I had two beds, a king and a queen. Each one looks like one side has been drug through oil and dirt. I took pictures of this damage, and their claims guy emailed me and said there was no proof that they did it. That my mattresses were marked as worn when they were picked up. Well, guess what, after reading over their inventory sheet, that they will ask you to sign, every piece of furniture was marked as being "R=Rubbed," "SC=scratched," "W=badly worn" or "M=Marred" to name a few. My headboard, doesn't have a scratch on it, even after the move, and they had it marked this way. This is their way out. If they use their little note system, have you sign it, and then damage your stuff. They just point to the inventory sheet and say--"It was damaged when they pick it up." Ask a lot of questions of this CREW!! read more

They won't take responsibility for damages done to our furniture from our move from MO to TX. They mark all wood furniture as scratched, marred, damaged when these pieces were in perfect condition. They don't go over this with you and you don't realize it until it's said and done and you've signed off on it. We have two pieces that we paid a significant amount for and now we are stuck with damages caused by Amrazek. And the company they work with to come and inspect our items were a joke. read more

We used A-Mrazek to move from St. Louis to Louisville in May 2015. Moving in general is a horrible experience, especially when we were moving, selling our old house AND buying one in Ky all in the same week. The move was flawless from the loading and shipping. We boxed most of our belongings but the items that were not boxed were well covered and protected by the loaders. Excellent documentation was takedn during the loading process. The delivery situation was a nightmare since our new lender, PNC, didn't have any of the paperwork ready and closing was delayed for 24 hours. The truck was due to deliver the afternoon of the original closing but the driver agreed to stay overnight and deliver the following day after we closed. This was a huge help because the driver had the right to drop our stuff at a warehouse which would have caused us to incur further loading and unloading charges. Annisa, our coordinator, was amazing with communicating and our driver, Keith was courteous, prompt and professional. The team made what could have turned out to be an awful experience through no fault of theirs into a manageable one for us. Everything made it unscathed, even the boxes that we did a poor job on packing! Would definitely use again but hope to goodness we never need to move again! read more
