Owners Tim & Jen welcomed me and I received a great pedi while relaxing in their awesome massage chair. Tim put some live music video performances on TV and as he worked we talked about classic rock, the art of sipping whiskey, and the eclectic decor in the shop that includes neon signs and other cool collectibles. The other patrons there at the time are regulars who raved about their satisfaction with this shop and that they drive down from Burney to go here. She asked if I'd had another pedicure recently and I told her not, that I'd basically hacked at my cuticles a little myself a couple weeks prior. So this led to.. no cuticle remover, no cleaning out under the nails, barely any pressure used at all for my calluses, which I did pay extra for. She said as she was doing it that there was nothing for her to do. Tell me why I went home and was still able to get stuff out from under my toenails (mind you, it's hard for me since I'm overweight and have back problems), and plenty of callus removed with what I have on hand? Also the polish on the second toe of my left foot chipped that night. I'm so disappointed because I did enjoy this place. I hardly ever get any time to be able to go get a pedicure, not to mention it was a waste of money with what I had to put into it when I got home.
