It was my first time there and I told my tech I had a hair appointment in an hour and I had to call the hair place to push back my appointment twice because it took so long. Just a million little steps that weren't necessary and the manicure itself only lasted two days. 8 nails completely cracked by the time I returned to get them fixed and everyone did the whole "I can't believe it" and "This never happens". But the owner was doing her own nails with poly gel the first time I went in and were in perfect condition 5 days later unlike mine. And then they told me all about how they did show nails before and how crappy quality it is...all while I'm there having the worst manicure of my life take three hours to fix. Three hours I probably would have avoided if it wasn't so insanely expensive in the first place. They told me all about the special paint and polishing techniques and how they used the best but I was there having my time wasted specifically because of those techniques and not one person apologized. Not that I needed one but it was weird being treated like I did something wrong. They said it was the lotion I used dried out my nails.. Just all very strange really, a very weird experience. Its a shame because the girls were so nice. I think if they worked faster and used different polish then she'd get a lot more business. Or maybe the polish is just so expensive that she has to skimp on the paint job, I don't know. But she's not in the right neighborhood for her current style of doing business.
