I had a very bad experience with this business. I purchased a Groupon in May 2025, the nightmare began. My consultation later revealed a lot of misinformation. As other reviewers have shared, this business has very questionable business practices. Almost cost me financially after having been extremely misled about their licenses and legit expertise. Read all the poor reviews on here and GOOGLE before you get any MEDICAL SPA services from this place -- and take heed to the warnings. Don't risk being "burned" (see another client review on Google) or duped out of money. Maryland has very clear requirements when it comes to medical spa services and this spot may have conveniently missed the "license" memo. read more

During my consultation w the owner, everything she said contradicted what I learned & instead tried to upsell me on a $2500 procedure w 9 sessions minimum. I initially ordered semiglutide as the owner asked me to be a customer and offered me bottles in return if I could get referrals. I did as promised and brought them 6 new customers, however when I tried to reach out I got excuses as to why I couldn't get them right away. I am beyond impressed with the ladies at this Med Spa. Being new to the area I wasn't sure where to go, however I think I found the perfect place. Kris & Phylis were incredibly knowledgable about everything I asked them about. They were very calming and helped me with everything I had interest in. Specifically with my hair loss/thinning concerns. One thing that I found striking was the fact that they were selling products that I typically bought online for significantly less. It seems as if they are very transparent with pricing and not trying to price gouge (seems like this happens to me all to often these days). I purchased a Groupon for laser lipo treatments. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly, took me directly into a room where treatment was explained and started immediately. I was in and out in a half hour. I have 2 more treatments as part of my Groupon but plan to keep up the treatments as the prices are fair and I am starting to see results. My practitioner suggested more because she was also not satisfied with the results, I did not ask for them. I did not unfairly review you and your business. The fact that you quoted prices and said I signed a consent form rather than offer a solution proves my point that you do not have good customer service. I found my way in with a groupon and have continued on with Viora and some of the other things they offer. The space is really beautiful and the staff are all really nice and friendly! Let me begin by saying that within the last several years I have tried at least 4 different "latest and greatest, new tech" machines and protocols to eliminate stubborn fat areas. None have worked. Not even a little bit. I read the reviews on several sites on VIORA and decided that I would give it and my hard earned money, one more try to get the body I have been wanting my entire life. Enter A NEW YOU MED SPA. I felt they were extremely honest and forth coming with pictures, pricing, how long the treatments would take and how many I would need, follow up appointments and how long before I would/could see any results. I am almost done with my treatments now. I am BEYOND thrilled with my results so far. My stomach reacted way faster than I expected. I actually have curves now and I still have 3 months for everything to really kick in. I also had the Vivace done (micro needling with laser) done on some past surgery scars that didnt heal well at all. The result is amazing, so far. No longer are they red and angry. I have completed my 3 treatments and now all I do is wait for even more improvement! I have dealt with Kris and Amy. They are both AMAZING at what they do. Very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Maybe you dont think that having your Med Spa techs be friendly is important as long as it works but I think its really important. You have to work together to get the results you want. They truly want you to be happy and are willing to go above and beyond in order for that to happen. HIGHLY recommend this business. read more

This place rocks! If you are having trouble loosing weight or inches, they can help. Viora truly does work! Not only does it reduce fat but it tightens the skin at the same time. They also do muscle building and toning with a machine called electroslim, that works any muscle groups you choose. It's like doing a thousand crunches without breaking a sweat. My head is still spinning with "wtf just happened"!! I've been having a full on battle with myself in my own head about writing this review.I've decided not to carrying this any longer.THIS has been weighing on me super heavy.I feel the need to warn anyone who is getting ready to lay this kind of cash down to do that bathroom remodel instead.I tried typing my entire experience but there are not enough characters.(The entire experience was baffling).Bullet points it is.~I was sought out while inquiring on the Viora Fb page.Was told to"come check it out",so I did.I was told I didn't need Botox to pop out my frown line if I have Viora done.(I save all year to do 1 thing for myself,that line is 1st priority)UPDATE: frown line is still there, still the exact same, no change at all.At the consult,so much info was being thrown at me(in no particular order,it was all over the place,no rhyme or reason to it at all)So much so I had to stop to ask"You do have literature for me to take away?"I was (at that point) completely lost.She grabbed a pamphlet, scribbled a little something on it and I had a tmt plan.Explained pretty much nothing.~I was told to go find the bank(not at all familiar with that area)and get the almost 4K in cash to pay for the tmt in full AT the Consult.(That IS NOT,never has,never will be normal practice)I am insulted that you thought that I would think that this was anything other than an under the table transaction.I'm not stupid,that would have been fine with me,a heads up would have sufficed.~I did not get a receipt until like 4 or so tmts in.Every time I asked,the energy instantly changed(she was 100%not happy that I kept asking for that receipt).When I did finally get one,it was hand written,and ripped out of one of those receipt books.It was wrong and still to this day I have never gotten a corrected copy.~My lip treatment was never finished(She was made aware of that)~When asked"what will happen next visit"more often than naught it wasn't what I was told.Tmt's where NEVER consistent.She said it was to be"5 passes"on each part.What really happened was sometime 3,on 1 part,5 on another(same day). One time i counted 10 passes on 1 part,5 all the rest.Again,no rhyme or reason.~After eyes(the gel stuff needs to be piled on)I was given a 4X4 piece of gauze to wipe up with.Of course she was kind enough to give me as many as I needed but it does nothing but move it around,I would always have a film over my contact lens for the rest of the day.I then had to start bringing my own paper towels.~There are 2 handles that go along wit this"Painless"tmt.1st handle I was jumping out of my seat at times.It felt like being zapped with electricity and fire at the same time(that is the best way I know to explain it).2nd handle she touched me with twice(I jumped)she hung it up and said"we can do without it".I was told"I must have a low threshold for pain" or"must be my dental work"in other words"it's MY fault".I was not happy that I was only going to be receiving half of this treatment after paying thousands of dollars.I had to go to the internet.I could not find the answers there,I was left with no other choice but to contact Viora directly. They said(after I told them about my problem areas)"I would most likely benefit from the that other handle".They wanted her name and info because it sounded to them that she had not been properly trained and that is a terrible look for Viora across the board.Giving Viora a bad name.They called me on multiple occasions,trying to acquire A New You's info.At 1st I did not want to do that(I have no idea what would come of it).She is an immediate family members very good friend. Now I am thinking it's the right thing to do.~I sent her a message at about the halfway point(because I couldn't get over the handle thing,among other reasons)maybe bowing out/giving her an out because I was not getting what was promised but she had an answer for everything.~Was told it would take about 3 months. I took a few days shy of 5 months.~After"it's was over"I sent an email just to let her know how this left me feeling and about my experience.No after photos were taken, never a care call, lips where never finished, the list is endless.I got a response. She went straight for the defense.She was super argumentative!It was/is thee worst possible look for a business owner.Wrapping up because I have to,I can only type so much.Was I looking for a miracle? Of course not.But for almost 4k a"you look rested"or"have you done something different"maybe"you look fresh" would have been nice, I'm not going to lie.For that much money I DID expect a treatment plan typed up and put in my hand BTW when you asked "are you seeing a difference" I said"YES!"because I was rooting for you and I AM sorry it had to go here After a few months to reflect,I am officially angry! Well, I really wanted to try this place, but attempting to get an appointment was apparently impossible. I bought a Groupon for a facial here and called to make an appointment the same day. I left a message which they never returned. I then called both phone numbers provided in the fine print of the Groupon daily for a week until I finally just asked Groupon to issue a refund. Definitely was looking forward to trying this place, but if you can't even give me enough attention to make an appointment, then clearly you don't value me as a customer. read more

I would not recommend this spa. There was no receptionist to greet me upon arrival. I actually called twice while sitting in the waiting area to let them know I arrived. The appointment started late and when I left there was still cleanser hardened on my face. My face was left dry and I did not have a glow as I have had in the past at other spas. Expect to have your Groupon redeemed once you make an appointment for a consultation without actually receiving services! Funny enough the consult is supposed to be free but that's only the beginning to my horror story. Even though I probably should've put two and two together once that happened I decided to give them a try and obtain services, since when I called Groupon to inform them of the situation they wanted me to go through Annapolis Wellness to receive my money back. Anyway, the owner seemed knowledgeable so I gave it a try... I opted for Skin Tightening. The total cost was $1,800 she allowed me to use the Groupon towards the service and make payments every 2 weeks which meant I paid for the services up front. The payment was made in full within a month and a half. I never received a copy of the items she makes you sign or a receipt for the charges to my credit card. Not only was this an issue for me but there wasn't really a schedule of when she hit my card it was random but I let it go, since I knew I had to pay for services anyway. So the first session was with a tech on a Saturday morning that was still in school and had her 2 year old baby in the room across from the room I was getting my services performed. I advised her I was nervous the baby would fall off of the bed in the other room but she said the baby was calm and she would be fine (There was no one else around on Saturday at the Spa). Services were done within 20 minutes. This happened twice with the same tech. The next time I went in the tech that had seen me prior was no longer working their, so the owner took care of me, which was fine. On my fourth appointment there was another woman their that took over an hour to perform the service as she was still learning and was not certified. Just to get started and hold the equipment properly was challenging for her. Not only was this time consuming but she was unsure of what part of my body the services were going to be performed on. She had Chris come in and help her look through my file and figure out what she was going to do. I made Chris aware that I had not seen any results whatsoever and she acknowledged the other employee didn't know what she was doing and asked me if I would allow for her to fix it for me. I agreed to give her opportunity to correct the situation. She told me the tech that was taking care of me was learning but she was training her herself and she thought she was pretty good at it. I went 2 more times after that and that same uncertified technician. She kept me there over 1 hour and a half and I NEVER saw any results. I decided not to go back. I went into the office on Thursday 8/31 about 4:30pm and the owner "Chris" was gone, needless to say there is another new employee that was very nice by the name of "Rosemary" I asked her for a copy of my file, receipts and the documents I signed. She called Chris and Chris told her I needed to come back on Friday 9/1 at 10am to get a copy of my file. I informed Rosemary that was impossible because I would be at work but she could email me the Release form she wanted me to sign and that she could email me the copies I was requesting. Its now Wednesday, 9/6 and I have not heard from Chris. Stay away from this place! This place does not actually have certified technicians and by what you are reading its quite clear the owner is a dishonest thief, whom charges you for services in full without actually providing the services. Everytime I see Groupon is for this place I am irritated I purchased a Groupon a while ago and then had surgery and did not keep track of the expiration. I called and try to make an appointment not paying attention to the expiration date and could not get an appointment until the following week. So when I arrived on a rainy evening that I raced from work to make I was told it expired one day before. she explained that they didn't make any money on expired Groupons but that she would as a courtesy let me use the face value of $119 but there is really nothing in the spa for that amount except for some basic wax services. I already have a wax person and I don't think they do hard wax which is my preference so now I've been sitting with an over $100 face value Groupon that is worthless. I also have been using Groupon years and on larger purchases like this I've never had a place not honor a service for what was advertised that close to the expiration to be honest it's bad for business. I use Groupon as a way to try new places to see if there's a place that I would develop a future client relationship with. I'm not inclined to waste $100 so I will try again and will update my review should my experience change. read more

I stopped into the spa to inquire about the services there after seeing a groupon offer. I saw a young girl named Danielle who spoke incredibly fast and was frantically explaining to other customers in the waiting room that their had been some theft in the spa and that she was in charge now after only being an employee there for a month!! She said that she was authorized to perform the treatments even though she wasn't certified because she was trained by a previous employee who was. The girl seemed frantic and confused saying that she was the only one there but a natural and amazing and she "just got thrown into the job." Needless to say I turned around and walked out am happy I didn't purchase the groupon. read more
