We had a great time here! The instructor was really friendly and helpful. I don't have a creative/artistic bone in my body and the painting I created looked pretty good; my parents even hung it in their house ;-) My husband and I will definitely be back. It was a really fun date night and only $20/person!

One of my favorite Friday night treats with friends - an awesome BYOB painting party.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I knew I was excited. I haven't been artistically creative since my one and only art class in high school (and that was some time ago), however, the amazing staff at A Painting Fiesta made myself and my friends feel at ease by providing easy enough instructions that we left feeling elated with our paintings. This really was one of the most relaxing and entertaining Friday nights I've had in a while. I can always look back fondly because the reminder that I can let my creativity fly proudly hangs on my wall.

my 1st acrylic paint work of art--a fun class!

Attended a private group session @ the Coral Springs location. Had a great night out w/friends! At times instruction was fast paced for a newbie like me, but the instructor made an effort to be attentive & encouraging to each one on a personal level in our group of 15. Even though my ocean water looked tumultuous--not calm like the model picture and everyone else's painting--the instructor was patient & got it, that I was releasing my inner tension! lol

I just had a painting session with my Mom sister and niece. We were celebrating all our birthdays. Everyone there was very nice. We were all nervous about our painting skills. They put us at ease and made the class super easy and so much fun. They didnt rush us and they were very tentive to our needs. You are allowed to bring snacks and food which is great!! I definitely recommend and hope to go back soon.

My first thought was "oh god they're going to tell us paint whatever you want" and that's not what I was looking for - I expected more of a paint by numbers and was a little dismayed when I got a blank canvas! Felipe was our instructor and he made me feel totally at ease. He had a great personality and awesome sense of humor. He was totally accommodating of my ADD (The class can be a little slow at times) and encouraged me to get really creative with my artwork. We had such a fantastic time! I would totally recommend this to anyone who is just looking for something fun to do or someone who needs a good stress reliever. I personally am a fan of coloring to relieve my stress but this is definitely a much better and more fun option in my opinion, especially because there's alcohol involved! I will be coming back for sure! Thanks Felipe for being amazing!!! (I saw some of his personal artwork that he had on his phone and he is quite the phenomenal painter, not just some random dude they hired to teach the class).

We ran into a few snags at first because we Googled the address and it took us to a completely different place than the address that the Groupon listed. Good thing we checked-we were about to go knock on a random person's apartment door. We actually showed up to the studio early even with the delay, and that doesn't seem to be the trend. The other people in our party came a bit late because they had been pregaming a bit and the other 6 decided not to show at all. About 30-40 minutes after the official start time, Felipe decided to actually start the painting-and it's a good thing that he didn't wait for the rest of the class to show up. We wanted to paint a sailboat that we saw on the wall, but evidently since he was so sick of doing that particular one we played a little bit of improv. There was definitely people on the other side of me who ended up accidentally drinking their paint water instead of their wine and dunking their paintbrushes in wine. Having wine in cups instead of wine glasses (and next to paint water cups) is dangerous while drinking. We had a blast, Felipe is awesome and was drinking right along with us. He's very talented and clearly has fun doing what he does. The studio does adult parties with booze as well as a lot of parties for kids as well. I think this is an awesome way to relax and create something, even if you think you're not artistic. It's amazing to express yourself. Even if it ends up being an abstract.
