They had two rooms going with different pictures. Very organized setup. Found our seats with everything already setup for us including paints and paintbrushes. The instructors were very friendly and helpful. It did go a little fast for me but when I needed help someone was always available. Over all we really enjoyed our three hour event and would definitely return to pain another picture.

Amanda was very nice and made the class comprehensible as it was intimidating at first sight, insert "this is fine" fire meme, lol. I was invited for a spontaneous night out and our class was an intimate gathering of 6 on a Saturday evening. I loved the intimacy of it and there was enough space for social distancing so I guess depending on the night, you wouldn't need to reserve your spot a few days before. You can easily check their class schedule online. Unfortunately, there was a little mix up as the painting that was originally reserved was for a beach setting but due to a unforeseen staffing emergency, they switched it up. Amanda was very willing to simultaneously teach the beach and the jelly but I am glad we stuck with the latter, as it was more of a challenge and I am pleased with my interpretation. I am definitely looking forward to coming back because who doesn't love a chill vibe where you can express yourself artistically with no judgment, your own spirits and great company?

The vibe this studio has is awesome, you feel welcome and at home from the second you walk in! The teacher (forgot his name! oops) was VERY nice, helpful, and patient. I wasn't a huge fan of the painting that we were doing (I saw some cool ones that I liked more hanging up on the wall), but the entire process was so much fun that I've hung my painting up anyway! Jay, our instructor, was very nice and patient. Loved the BYOB part. My friends and I brought some snacks and plenty of wine. I will definitely be back to see what else I can paint! I've never been good at drawing or painting, but I didn't have to be! The one annoying thing that I will say is that it was nearly impossible to book our reservation. I called the studio no less than 4 times, left 2 voice messages, and never got a call back. I ended up just driving there and making the reservation in person when I was out running errands. Not very cool.

The session we attended was very PG so we were able to bring our teen along, but hubby and I are going to try some more adult oriented classes sans child. This is my second time at Paranormal Cirque! First in New York and now in Miramar. Between the two…read moreshows, the excitement, thrills and scares remain the same! The Cirque has landed at the Miramar Regional Park. Parking is vast and well organized. There are staff members who direct you all the way. Upon entrance of the tent, you're greeted by the wonderful screams of patrons entering the mini haunted house. The house is haunted by the performers themselves, making sure you're prepared for what's to come. To the left of the entrance is the bar/food sections. The set up is adequate and lines moved quickly. There are porta potty's for bathrooms. They were kinda gross given that the shows are back to back. The show itself was brilliant! All of the staff were so talented and engaging. I loved that it's a story telling performance. At intermission you are encouraged to take photos with the paranormal personalities. I would have loved if they had staff walking around the crowd selling drinks rather than having to leave the show to go to the bar. But other than that, this is a must see. Especially if you're into the spookies like I am.
