This was the perfect event to do for our big birthday celebration for 4 people in our family. Marcos was absolutely fantastic and made the event so much fun and everyone was at ease not matter what your skill level is with painting. We really like how you can do painting at home instead of loading almost 15 people into cars to go to a location. We highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something new or a fun family event to do this. Ask for Marcos, he has a great saying for adults, "I'm sexy, yes you are!"

Had my 21st birthday here & it was awesome! Had amazing communication with Daleana from the start while planning the private event. Lou & Blossom were our teacher & assistant and they were great! My friends & family had so much fun! Will definitely be back again for more fun!!

The experience I had since the moment I called was outstanding. Daleana was the one who helped me and she went the extra mile trying to find solutions for me and my party. Before I called Paints n Cocktails I had called 7 other places and no one was as pleasantand helpful as Daleana was. Chris (our instructor) was excellent too. He was patient and made our class super fun. I'm delighted with the service they've provided and I'll continue to keep them in mind for future events. I even have a friend that wants to celebrate her birthday with this company. Thank you Paints n Cocktail for making my birthday celebration a memorable one!

Guided artistry. Love it! Ok, so you take me to the Louvre and I ask where is the coffee shop. I'm not THAT bad but, that's me, lost when it comes to the meaning, interpretation, divine inspiration of paintings, sculptures and the sort. This place, now I sorta get it. This is a review post-birthday party of about 30 feisty wine glass wielding, bottle popping ladies. I appreciate that ppl from all walks of life like me enough to pull me into their awesome worlds. I get random real world opportunities like this. Otherwise I'd be at home asleep or cooking something for equally content hubby. There are two art rooms. I only saw the one we were in.....two long tables lengthed the room, set up along their lengths on each side, square wall-hangable easeled canvases. So there were about 8-10 canvases for you to sit at on either side of the tables. Thus you squeeze about 30-40 in the room. The instructor was on a stage at the end of the tables, high enough for everyone to see. It was "follow-along-step-by-step" until you create something that should resemble the displayed finished product placed next to the instructor. Our pre-selected art for this party was a "sensual pour", bottle pouring into a wine glass. Appropriate because they have hanging on a rack LOVELY wine glasses so you don't have to use plastic cups for your BYOW. Your brushes and paint are right there, your instructor tells you exactly what to do if you choose to follow his strokes, which is what I did......my mind is very technical, so that worked perfectly for me. The instructor was confident yet very entertaining and in touch with what we were doing. He'd jump off stage, check our work, squeeze more paint I'd we needed if, offer straight faced compliments. Towards the end, I looked at my brush strokes and WAH-LAH! A sensual pour painting sitting right in front of me! I actually understood maybe what a for real artist can express without painting by numbers! And they clean up the mess. YAY! The very pleasant receptionist told me to go online for "open" paint sessions. They have beautiful examples all over the walls that would be used or that you can select from. Unexpectedly inspired.

My best friend took me here as a birthday present surprise. I had no idea what to expect, since i literally cannot draw a stick figure and make it look decent! I've never been artistic, and i cannot even make any type of art... Or so i thought! The step by step process here is unique, hands-on, and very helpful. I was able to paint something i wasnt embarrassed of! The teacher, a young gentleman from ny/nj, was so sweet and very helpful. He was able to teach simple techniques to a paint-challenged person like myself. It's also byob here, which is neat. What's better than a cocktail or two while painting!? They also encourage you bring food/snacks. It's a little awkward trying to eat here though. They do provide plates, napkins, wine glasses and openers, as well as bottled water and ice buckets should your beverage need to be kept iced. I talk about this place all of the time, and tell everyone how great it is. I can't wait to come back for my next painting experience!

My girlfriends and I loved this experience! This is something I have been wanting to do for a while and could not be any more pleased with my first time. You register for whatever class you like online based on the painting offered that day. Our painting on this day was a tropical sunset sailboat. We arrived a couple of minutes before to register, choose a seat and set up our personal belongings. All of the tables were already set up with the easel, canvas, brushes, cup of water and a paint palette. On this occasion, Jimmy Buffet and Bob Marley were already playing to get us in the mood for our painting. I really liked that attention to detail. It really worked! I was instantly in the mood for tropics. It even made me rethink my wine option. I should have brought a blender for piña coladas instead! Oh well... The name is Paint n COCKTAILS, this means you BYOB! They provide the glasses. You can also bring snacks or whatever you want to eat. It's a good thing they provide aprons. Eating, drinking and painting can be tricky especially as the night goes on IYKWIM! wink wink! Our teacher started the class promptly and before we knew it, we were on our way to creating some art! It was scary to let go at first and give in to the strokes but once I got started it really started to all flow. They have a master sample canvas with what the final product is supposed to look like. The teacher also has a blank canvas he paints on along with you and takes you through all the steps. Two hours later, voilá! I am not saying I am Botticelli or anything but I was pretty proud of my "creation". The painting is then yours to take home. This is something different that I would love to attempt again. It's good to do with a group of friends but it could also be a good idea to do it alone because I found it very relaxing. Our group was a little rowdy. I felt a little bit bad for the rest of the students because of this but a good time was had by us all in between PAINTS N (lots of) COCKTAILS!

    Lots of art to choose!

This is a great place to go with friends or even people you just casually know. The store-front studio is sun-streamed and the walls are lined with finished paintings. The long, narrow tables are set-up with canvases on easels, 3 brushes, and a paper plate covering another paper plate that has dollops of paint needed to complete the painting. Before our group from work went to the studio, we looked at the library of 265 paintings online and selected the one we wanted to do. Paintings range from Britto and Van Gogh inspired pieces, to silhouettes of lovers on the beach, to funky people, world architecture, and tropical settings. There are paintings that are geared for kids (or the young at heart) too. I called the studio to make sure the painting wasn't too hard and that the 2 hour session would be ample to complete the painting. The owner, Lynn, and employee, Stacie, assured me we were a go - and the studio gives an extra half hour at the end of the session so if our dining break went too long, or if we didn't get far enough in our painting, we'd have time at the end to finish the art. The studio encourages people to eat (typically during the first 15 minutes and during a short break at the mid-point of the session), drink (BYOB - there's a nearby liquor store, Publix, and Winn-Dixie liquor store), and sing along with music customized for each piece of art. The studio has wine glasses and small bottles of water too. It's a laid back atmosphere where the focus is on fun and, according to our instructor, accepting ourselves for who we are at that moment so we let our inner creative person come out and play. Perfectionists should stay home! The studio has a relationship with nearby businesses so their customers get discounts on food (Vito's Pizza and Gourmet Popcorn Delights gave us discounts and delivered their food to the studio!). The instructor wears a mic and walked us through the painting process - she also came around to help us tweak our masterpieces. We were encouraged to make our art our own and to embrace our style instead of trying to carbon copy the art. A couple of times the instructor was outpacing us and some of us got lost in the weeds for a few minutes but we recovered and she was there to usher us back on course. At the end we took group shots and really had a blast. One of the people in our group purchased paintings for sale for $5 and $10 to give as gifts/decorate her house. Rumor has it that Syl and Britt are going to have a UYE here in January - you know I'll be there!

Fun for those into wine and or art lol. It was set up nicely and has areas, some larger and some smaller spaces if you and your guest prefer a private area. You are able to bring food and drinks of your choice and serve them during the painting class. Our instructor was very nice and down to earth. Very helpful and descriptive with the painting instructions which was great. I would recommend this place for those interested in a very fun night. I lose interest very easy so I only go if invited as a guest for a special occasion (Honest Opinion). I prefer the cocktails part rather then painting but that is me personally lol. All of the guest for my mother birthday celebration enjoyed the event. They supply you with a canvas along with paint and painting utensils. Once done you get to take your Picasso home. Prices range from $25 to $45 per person depending on the painting and occasion.

Found them online. I live in California and was celebrating my birthday in quarantine. Signing up was super easy. I love that they tell you the supplies needed. During the class the teacher allows you more time if needed. Directions were easy to understand. Had a great time, will do again.

Fun class with mom and sisters ! We were somehow able to pull off a decent painting in the end. We did feel we could have received a little more direction towards the end. It seemed half finished and we had to do our own edits to make it presentable. He did say this was a shortened version though.

Went here with friends while on vacation and had a blast. I am NOT creative in the slightest but our instructor was amazing and funny and somehow got me to paint a donut while drinking wine! I highly recommend and bring friends!!

This was a great experience during the Covid-19 pandemic. The instructor Grey was patient and very knowledgeable. He may just be a shy person as he never introduced himself, but overall, I liked the online class.

My first thought was "oh god they're going to tell us paint whatever you want" and that's not what I was looking for - I expected more of a paint by numbers and was a little dismayed when I got a blank canvas! Felipe was our instructor and he made me feel totally at ease. He had a great personality and awesome sense of humor. He was totally accommodating of my ADD (The class can be a little slow at times) and encouraged me to get really creative with my artwork. We had such a fantastic time! I would totally recommend this to anyone who is just looking for something fun to do or someone who needs a good stress reliever. I personally am a fan of coloring to relieve my stress but this is definitely a much better and more fun option in my opinion, especially because there's alcohol involved! I will be coming back for sure! Thanks Felipe for being amazing!!! (I saw some of his personal artwork that he had on his phone and he is quite the phenomenal painter, not just some random dude they hired to teach the class).

We ran into a few snags at first because we Googled the address and it took us to a completely different place than the address that the Groupon listed. Good thing we checked-we were about to go knock on a random person's apartment door. We actually showed up to the studio early even with the delay, and that doesn't seem to be the trend. The other people in our party came a bit late because they had been pregaming a bit and the other 6 decided not to show at all. About 30-40 minutes after the official start time, Felipe decided to actually start the painting-and it's a good thing that he didn't wait for the rest of the class to show up. We wanted to paint a sailboat that we saw on the wall, but evidently since he was so sick of doing that particular one we played a little bit of improv. There was definitely people on the other side of me who ended up accidentally drinking their paint water instead of their wine and dunking their paintbrushes in wine. Having wine in cups instead of wine glasses (and next to paint water cups) is dangerous while drinking. We had a blast, Felipe is awesome and was drinking right along with us. He's very talented and clearly has fun doing what he does. The studio does adult parties with booze as well as a lot of parties for kids as well. I think this is an awesome way to relax and create something, even if you think you're not artistic. It's amazing to express yourself. Even if it ends up being an abstract.
