I had my truck detailed in the Spring. It's a 2013 F150. I called this place. They quoted me $275 to detail my truck. Sounded a little high for what i wanted done. My truck was not that dirty. And for the bed I just wanted it sprayed out. I was here when they arrived. I showed them the truck. They confirmed that it wasn't that dirty. I removed my sub woofer. I asked them to please wipe it down. Also I told them that my trip permit in the back window was expired and to please remove it. I left. When I got home 2-1/2 hours later they were already gone. Seemed awfully quick. I walked around my truck. Omg! Terrible detail job. Lots and lots of missed spots. Dirt and gravel still in my bed. Never touched my sub. Trip permit was still in the window. Windshield liked like crap. My 9 year old granddaughter could have done a better job. I was giving the truck to my son in law. I was embarrassed. So I spent the next 3 hours finishing the detail. Not something that I wanted to be doing. Then, I received my bill via email. $450!!! Huh?!!! I called the owner. I told them about the bad job. Sent him pictures. And I asked why on earth is it $450? This job is worth maybe $100! And he quoted me $275. He offered to come "finish the job". I told him to not bother. I finished it myself. And I sent him the $275. If you need a good detail, either keep looking or have my 9 year old come do it. This was 6 months ago. Hopefully they have improved. They just sent me an email. I have taken my car to Washman car wash on MLK for years. I spend around 80 dollars to have them vacuum and shampoo the carpets and wipe down the interior, in addition to washing the exterior. I have never been disappointed, but since we are about to list our car for sale I thought I would splurge and have it professionally detailed to really get the hard to reach places that I didn't think I could effectively clean on my own, as well as have some of the scratches buffed out of the exterior. I have never in my life regretted spending so much money on a service that did not even come close to meeting my expectations. I wish I could show pictures of what my car came out looking like. The once small scratches had turned into much larger areas of terrible looking surface scratches, presumably because the guy tried to use something abrasive and didn't do a good job? The car was covered in large areas of scratches rather than just small ones. The interior hardly looked like it had even been wiped down, despite the fact that the tech worked on it for 5 hrs. The door interiors, dashboard, and even the seats looked as though they had been sprayed with some kind of conditioner but not wiped off. It was splotchy and still dusty. There was actual debris (one of those mini pine cones) on the dashboard vent. The trim on the exterior was untouched and had white streaks from whatever solution had been sprayed and not rinsed or buffed out. I couldn't really believe what I was seeing after shelling out 400 dollars. My husband assured me they would make it right, so I called and sure enough they scheduled someone to come out. To make a long review a little shorter, the scratches buffed out nicely but nothing else was remedied other than the mini pine cone I pointed out and the trim I had to remind him to do. He did not wash the car again. It was covered in some weird white spray on the outside. There was still loose debris on the carpets that the first guy somehow missed, there were marks on the leather that didn't get wiped clean. He called me out to look at the car when he was done and I didn't know what to say. I said it was fine. Then in my frustration I grabbed a towel and started working on the car myself while he sat in the driveway in his car. He obviously saw what I was doing so he hopped out and started making excuses about why he wasn't able to do certain things (like getting the leather cleaned properly which is what I was working on). Either this company is hiring techs without any skill set, or they aren't giving them the proper tools to do their jobs properly. I ended up taking an afternoon off of work to clean the car myself and I was fuming the whole time in absolute disbelief at the things they missed or just didn't bother to do. I got all of the weird white stuff off and the streaky film that was left in all the areas they buffed out scratches. The interior was restored with the simple use of Armor All and a microfiber cloth. As I mentioned, this was the absolute biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Save yourself the money and aggravation and take it to washman to do a great job on the big stuff, and then get the details done yourself - this company has taught me that if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. read more

They came out to detail my van & took about 2 hrs for an inside & out job. Some areas where left undone but when I called Alan, owner/my contact, he sent another team out the next day to fix the problem. I wish it was done correctly the 1st time but it allowed me to ckout their customer service, which was excellent! I'd also like to mention the original crew that came out left some of the trash from my van in my yard which wasn't cool. So for my van not being perfect the 1st time I took off a star and for the littering I took off a star. I would use them again (I like the convience of them coming to me) & just look closer at the finished work & request all trash be thrown in a trash can, not in the yard. read more

I bought a voucher on a daily deal sight to have my car detailed. I called the company numerous times and was never called back. We are talking 5-6 times, here. Finally I started emailing and was contacted back and an appointment was scheduled. Guess what? They never showed up. I took a half day off work to meet them. No one came. Also didn't respond to my emails asking why they didn't show up. Luckily the daily deal site refunded all of my money. But they can't refund my time. read more

Sean called the morning of my appointment to confirm and showed up promptly on time. He performed an outstanding detailing of the interior of my SUV in under 2 hours. My car may be as clean as the day I purchased it. Sean was completely self-sufficient, professional, and thorough in all detailing. At my previous job, we had an arrangement with A Perfect Detail where they would come twice a month to the employee parking lot and you could get your car taken care of with a nicer discount. It was easy and they did a great job. When I got a new job I expected to pay a little more to use someone nearby, but when I started checking options I was stunned - detailers with a physical location near my work were asking for 1.5-2.5 times what I had been paying. Are they plating my car in gold? So I contacted A Perfect Detail to see if they could help. They very easily scheduled me, over email, which I love, for a detail service at my home that same week. As before, I paid my bill online. I asked for a call ahead and I got one. They made it so easy I hardly knew they were there. The car is sparkling inside and out. TOTAL NIGHTMARE to get ahold of. Like another reviewer I spent months and multiple phone calls, emails, etc (some of which were returned, promising to get back to me to actually schedule) to get my car detailed. I, too, had a voucher so I was kind of determined to not let it go to waste. I finally was able to secure an appointment and a very nice guy did show up, calling me almost 2 hours ahead of our appointment time. I rushed home (no big deal) and he spent hours detailing inside and out. All in all, the job was fine even good but with the hassle factor for getting ahold of them and getting it taken care of I can't say that I'd recommend this company again. :( read more
