Kevin came to my rescue and was a saint and extremely patient as I had to figure out some logistics with my car he was towing. He was really calm and understanding and helped make my nightmare of a situation so much better. He even went out of his way to send me some info so I knew how to get the parking break unlocked if I needed it. I needed a second tow and AAA gave me another company who was refusing to do it and A-performance came to the rescue again even though I was out of their range at that point. They were the ONLY ones to help. Tim was the second guy to help me and he was super nice and even had to deal with a huge traffic jam and a long drive and was not annoyed or anything when he delivered my car. So I own a really low car and I got a flat tire last night, I thought I had fixed the problem myself by putting on the spare but that one popped on me too, so I call A performance for a possible tow knowing they might reject because my car is so low. I called and they said they would tow but they don't feel comfortable loading it onto a regular trailer (already a good sign that they care for the cars they deal with like their own) so they themselves recommended to wait till morning when they have a flat bed trailer for my car. The next morning comes around and that's when I meet up with David, super cool guy! Takes his time with loading up my car and even taking precautions to not damage my car, even if it was as little as scratching the bumper or exhaust! Life savers! Blow out tire in big bear couldn't find my lug nut key so I couldn't put the spare. I had to get towed to Long Beach on top of that we were staying the night and had a 16month baby with us along with all our bags. They loaded up my truck and offered a rental that they delivered to our cabin and towed back from Long Beach. One stop shop. the driver David was super patient and he left about and hour before us since we had to load our bags from the cabin into the rental and he just waited at my house. I had the pleasure of interacting with A-Performance towing twice on my recent trip to Big Bear. Kuntry Came to my rental place to change a flat tire that I had had it on the way into Big Bear. It was late evening and cold but he was super gracious and patient in addition to the flat, I was having some car problems and he referred me to Gonzales garage next door to their shop. I found out while I was at the garage that my transmission was failing and it was completely unsafe to drive my car back to San Diego. I had my entire family at the cabin and was stranded with no way to get a rental car or get off the mountain. Chris at A-Performance did everything in his power to find a way for me to get to a rental car and help me. He went so far above and beyond anything that was expected that I can't say enough about his character. I was able to get a ride with another driver, Brian, down the mountain to get a rental car. I had the pleasure of talking with him for more than an hour. He's an all-around kind and thoughtful human being and was gracious enough to let me hitch a ride in his truck with him. I called the shop today to follow up on my car as I had to leave it behind. I was able to speak with the owner, Corey, and tell him how much I appreciated his crew. He shared with me how he intentionally sought out these characteristics in his employees and how proud he is of these guys. Not knowing what shop to use, Corey offered to personally call Gonzalez to see if they could make my car a priority the next day. First, Corey came out to try to help to see if the issue was with our battery - it's a Hybrid, so a little difficult and not an ordinary gas burner... well, he was unsuccessful, but he tried. Then, Nathan came out, tried a little more, was also unsuccessful, and then proceeded to tow us to our home about 100 miles away. THESE GUYS ROCK! For a Big Bear company to be responsive and polite and knowledgeable, I was amazed... I HIGHLY recommend A-Performance and I kinda knew they wouldn't have any success with the electronics of these newer vehicles - even AAA and Chrysler said that it was going to be a dealer service issue, so... again, HIGHLY RECOMMEND - 5 STARS!!! The driver was timely, given it was a holiday weekend in a resort town. He greeted us with a smile and a friendly hello. It was a Sunday Morning and there where No tire shops open. I had a valve stem fail on me the Day before and it was again to late in the day and everyone was already closed. They had helped me with Air on the side of the road while he was towing another truck, because my spare was low. Sunday morning I saw them in there garage and pulled up. AAA service has always been something I recommend to people as it is highly important and necessary for many reasons. I had called and the requesting service for taking an order- had not completed it, then the order somehow got canceled unbeknownst to me so I had to call back an hour later and request another one, and then a third time, believe it or not. Luckily when the vehicle service driver company (owner Corey) had got the call, he sent a very professional driver (David) as quickly as possible. That vehicle driver was beyond satisfaction and definitely the best experience I've had via AAA. David really went above and beyond, literally out of his way, to make sure that my family and I were safe and well with our vehicle properly stored at our home.
