Amazing day turned sideways. Came to big bear to go snowboarding with friends and coworkers to get out of Vegas and relax. First time ever going to big bear mountain. Blue bird day. Just when I thought everything was going great I get an engine too hot warning. Luckily I wasn't out in the middle of the desert. Reached out to my insurance, said it was going to be 70-90 minutes. Mind you it's already getting dark and started to get cold. Got on Yelp and licona responded quickly. Family owned and operated. Gave me a quote and got me in less than 15 minutes. Dropped off my car at a shop (took it to his recommendation), waited for us to find an a place to stay, then dropped us off at the place. Really considerate and didn't rush us at anytime. AAA couldn't replace our tire with a spare because it was too old, so we anticipated staying one more night in Big Bear. He was kind enough to help locate a tire shop he could tow us to. A company was giving us a five hour window for service and these guys were at our car in 20 mins. Angel is an incredible human being! I work with many people and instantly knew our experience would be great. On a trip to our cabin in big bear, my wife hit a pot hole and blew out a tire in our 2022 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Turbo, a special vehicle that's not easy tow as it's electric, heavy and bespoke. Angel came promptly to carefully tow the high value Porsche to our cabin while we waited for a tire to arrive from Tire Rack. He was super careful and attentive in loading and unloading the car with foam ramps to ensure there is no risk of damage to the car and driveway. Once the tire arrived a few days later, he helped me get the tire mounted and even gave me a ride to Auto Zone to buy chains as it was too dangerous to drive without. All of this with a smile and very real reasonable pricing. Angel is not only a very kind entrepreneur but also now a friend and confidant of our family! Angel genuinely cares about his customers and the quality of his service. I was stranded with 2 flats on a holiday on the way back from Big Bear and not a single open store with my model of tires within a 50 miles radius. The pressure was on because I had to make it off the mountain in time before the only few tire shops open in San Bernardino would close. After going through AAA and 2 other towing companies who couldn't get me an ETA, I got hold of Angel. He got me sorted out with a flat fee tow and set me up with a tire shop in Highland which got me back on the road in no time. He took great care loading and unloading the car on the flatbed. If you're ever in need of a tow truck on the mountain this place needs to be your first call! Angel is the best and his service is second to none. After having the worst experience possible with another tow service that was contracted with AAA in Big Bear (they literally made us wait 1.5+ hours then got there and told us they couldn't take us and left us stranded in a storm) LUCKILY, Angel saved us! He answered right away, texted pricing, and gave us quick updates of his very quick ETA (less than 30 mins while others we waited 1.5+ hours with zero help). He was so professional with the coordination and even offered to talk with AAA. We were stranded in a snow storm, it was now 5pm after being given the run around by other companies for 4 hours, and visibility was difficult. He picked us up no problem and took us all the way back to Santa Monica! The best part is that he was very straight forward and honest with his pricing, we paid up front and there was no "hidden costs" and we didn't worry about getting cheated. We just got back from Big Bear. We had an urgent need for assistance with some snow chains that were tangled around our wheel. Angel picked up our call immediately, and gave us a faster time estimate and better price than the first company we tried. He got to our rental on the early side of his estimate, with cell and text updates to let us know when he was 15 and 5 minutes away. He was patient waiting for us as the kids held us back for a few minutes. He quickly problem solved the situation, installed the chains for us, and took time showing my wife and myself how to do install them the next time. His version was better than both of the youtube informational videos we had watched. He had a different approach which made more sense once we saw it, and made it easier to get the chains around and under the tire, which was important because we have a SUV with tight crevices around the wheel well. He also gave us a website to check for road conditions so we could determine when to remove them, some tips on removal. He's good. He's earnest and friendly. He saved our trip, because, due to his speed and competence, we were able to rebook our ski lessons for the afternoon and get there in time and have a great day. read more

Oh my god did these guys save the day. I was on my way to big bear from San Bernardino and I got a flat tire on highway 330. It was Labor Day weekend and most tow companies were closed. They were on their way to drop off a truck doing another job and pulled over to help change my tire and give me some gas. My partner and I arrived in Big Bear on a Friday night and immediately hit a massive pothole that totaled my front tire. I'm 75 years old and recovering from surgery. I drove to my mailbox on the Avenue and my car would not shift. Transmission?? Onlookers tried to help and they couldn't get it to shift either! I'm not very well and getting home even though it's not, that far would be very hard walking. This company was down the mountain, but they sent their brother to pick me up and drive me home because of my health issues, then they towed my car home and may have gotten it to work, by fiddling with something or other... Anyway, this wonderful man helped me showed me how he got it to work, told me to try driving up and down my street and see if the shift still works but if not, he advised a good garage.
