They always show our pup care, love, and most notably patience with her puppy behaviors. They are attentive, thoughtful, and accommodating about what she needs on any given day, like extra breaks and down time and will give us reports on how she's doing. They have the same rotating staff at daycare and boarding, which is so nice for consistency. We love the Instagram pics they'll post throughout the day as well! We know she can be a lot with her wild puppy energy, and they welcome her anyways. She LOVES going to daycare, which is all you need to know. This has been a life changing training for my two dogs. Our first day of level 1 class, they were barking and freaking out at the sight of other dogs. By the end of level 2, they were non-reactive, and I can now have my dog heel without holding a leash. Brent noticed how reactive our dogs were and took the extra time to walk us through training them to improve their behavior around other dogs as well as one of our dog's fear of water hoses. Highly recommend his group training classes. Its a lot of work, but you should feel comfortable & in control of your dogs. Thats what the classes have provided us and more. If someone told us 10 weeks ago that our dogs would be able to lay down with other dogs and be mellow, I would've never believed them until coming to Cooperhaus. Gustavo was our grooming yesterday, and he was great at listening to our requests for DOOM. DOOM had a bath, as well as the teeth, brushing and mouth spray, and we had specifications on what parts of his fur should be trimmed, which would just actually be around his feet, and Gustavo executed perfectly. We actually had doubts for this groomer, as a previous one, returned to our dog with red eyes, which was alarming since it wasn't communicated prior to the session ending, which for us was a really big deal. We gave them another shot, and Gustavo did really well. We had a slight language barrier issue, and Gustavo whipped out the Google translate, which I think was very proactive, and answered any questions that would help put us at ease. On top of that, he also sent a few pictures during the session of DOOM to put us more at ease, which I really appreciated. Safe to say, I will happily be rebooking for the next grooming session. I brought my dog in for a urinary issue and requested a routine nail trim. The staff "quicked" his…read morenails so badly that he was bleeding and required a bandage. Worse, the bandage was applied so tight it acted as a tourniquet, causing my dog extreme pain. A dog who is normally gentle began snapping and biting at me purely because of the agony that this "professional" clinic put him in. I paid nearly $500 for care that resulted in a traumatized, injured animal and a dangerous medical situation at home. If you value your pet's safety, stay away. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. They didn't even apologize.
