I can not say enough good things about Richelle and the care she took of my two fur babies. For the first time, one of my cats decided to go on a hunger strike while my husband and I were away on vacation (our first big trip in several years thanks to COVID) and I was very worried about her. Richelle pulled out all the stops and was able to coax my distraught kitty back onto a regular eating cycle. I appreciated the instant rapport she was able to establish with my shy, wild finicky girl during the initial home visit, her thoroughness in evaluating what was needed to care for my babies and our home (down to asking about the garbage pick-up schedule in our neighborhood and taking the bins out to the curb and making sure the geraniums were watered) and the great communication and regular updates and photos she sent while we were away. I have used Richelle multiple times and cannot recommend her enough. I am always very nervous leaving my cat Oscar, but Richelle's text updates and pictures help tremendously. Oscar requires medication and she is able to give it to him with no problems - I think she is better at it than me! Although an indoor cat, Oscar likes to go out on the patio to drink from a particular faucet, and Richelle is always happy to take him out for his drink. She also brushes him and gives him lots of love. I do not have air conditioning, so during the summer I had Richelle opening windows during the evening and closing them in the morning, which she was more than happy to do. Richelle is an amazing find. From the first time she met us and our dogs, she was very professional, explaining everything up front. I completely agree with previous reviews about her being honest and trustworthy, and she is VERY flexible. But what is most important to us is how she is with our dogs. We have four little chihuahuas and three of them are rescues who have some interesting quirks. Richelle immediately charmed all of them and when we are away, she sends us pictures of our dogs showing us how happy they are with her. One of them is a very picky and slow eater and she waits patiently until he is finished with his food.
