We joke that we're one of the "OGs" because we've been with Yesi since the very beginning--back when she was caring for pups through Rover, long before Lucky Buddies grew into the incredible daycare it is today. Watching Lucky Buddies grow has been such a joy, but what amazes me most is that their heart has never changed. Even as they've expanded, every dog is still treated like family. Teddy has been loved, cared for, and celebrated every step of the way, and there isn't a single person on the Lucky Buddies team that I wouldn't trust with him. Finding the right fit for Yogi was important since he's just over a year old and was mostly used to smaller groups of small dogs. After hearing great things from two of our neighbors, we decided to try Lucky Buddies. We started slow with half-days, but within days Yogi's initial hesitation turned into complete excitement, and now he literally jumps out of the car ready to go play with his friends. This place is the cutest - I use LB to when I need to go for doggy daycare. Hard to remember, but I think I also was hoping my pup, Poppy, would get a little more socialization here too when I began. We are so glad we found Lucky Buddies for our golden retriever Kento and our cat Ichi! Before going to daycare at Lucky Buddies, our golden Kento did not quite know how to interact appropriately with other dogs. After several months there, his behavior is much more socially appropriate! He absolutely loves going to Lucky Buddies and playing with his friends. He gets so excited when he jumps off the car and realizes we're outside the Lucky Buddies building. He comes back a tired, happy, and socialized pup! We also always have Lucky Buddies do drop-in visits for our cat Ichi when we're traveling. They are great with uploading pictures, providing a visit follow-up, and following our directions. Ichi loves when they visit! At one point when we had a foster cat, they were very kind to check in on her during their visits too. All the staff members have been pleasant to communicate with. I left my dog here for an overnight stay, and he had an accident in his crate - something he never does at home. Instead of just being decent and cleaning him up, the staff messaged me asking if I'd pay an **extra fee** for the cleanup. I was on a flight without signal, and because they were waiting for my **financial "permission,"** they left my dog covered in his own waste for nearly an entire day. Treating a pet's basic needs as a business transaction is appalling. I later realized why my dog had an accident overnight - the "walks" are not what you'd expect. They aren't for the dog to sniff around or even go to the bathroom. I saw small dogs leashed so tightly grouped with several large dogs and forced into a fast-paced walk. It is purely a forced walk on a dangerously tight leash, making it impossible for him to actually stop and go. They are expensive, lack empathy, and clearly do not care about dogs beyond what they can bill you. I would never recommend this place to anyone who actually loves their pet. My dog Quill has the greatest time, whether he's just hanging out with the buddies, or taking advantage of one of their many add ons. (Walks, agility course, photo shoots to name a few) As a pawrent, I appreciate their quick responses, IG stories and report cards! I have been taking my dog Tito for the last five months. He's 10 months old. The place is incredible. They're very responsive. What I do love about this place is that they give you a daily update with photos. They are also so gracious at times because I am very busy corporate wise that they will come pick up my puppy.
