Its filled with clothes of all sized. There nike tracksuits for 40-70 bucks usually these would be more expensive. Scarps for your head. Ski mask. Belts actually good shirts that are good for there price. And most of all candy . free candy. The store is. Yellow and red. you cant miss it. But it os pretty small. Im 12 years old. She refused to sell my boyfriend something behind the counter because, "i came in with him and i'm underaged", even tho he is of age and proceeded to scan my ID as if i was the one who was purchasing his stuff?? and when we asked her why she couldn't sell to him all the sudden, she proceeded to give us a bs answer saying some "because she's underage, and you came in with him so i can't sell this to you" basically giving us no further explanation about this apparent new law that she's created in her head. And further more, she never handed us back our change from the ice cream and other food items we had purchased. if i could leave 0/10 stars for this experience i would, Felicity left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable and we will not be looking forward to seeing her if she's still working there, its unfortunate because Stewart's Shops is a staple of mine and my boyfriends childhoods and she really ruined the whole experience for us.

She decided that I needed to get out of the house and do something to take my mind off work. She knew I had been wanting to try Scoops, so off we went. What she didn't know - the reason I wanted to try this place. A friend and former coworker was excited that they had a specific flavor of Gifford's ice cream that he wanted us to try. He's only found this flavor at a Stewarts in Scotia and I was not about to drive out there. Our team planned to stop in one afternoon during our lunch hour. Scoops was closed; they didn't open until 2:00 PM. Who would skip lunch hour stops in the middle of the summer? So stopping in was a reminder of the coworker who's no longer a part of the team, which really wasn't helping my mood. But they were open and I really do have a thing for ice cream. The first thing I noticed, the menu selections were all over the place. Hand written signs on pieces of paper stuck here and there in different windows. Granted, I have rarely seen an ice cream stand with a perfect menu display, but this was absurd. Adding to the absurdity, there were only 5 flavors of ice cream available. Scoops closes before Labor Day for the rest of the winter, opening again in June I think. We were there on either their last or second to last day open for the season and had to chose from whatever was left. The Gifford's flavor I was seeking was not one of those flavors. Ended up with a mint chocolate chip ice cream with a waffle cone. I was glad the lady at the counter suggested the waffle cone, I wouldn't have order it otherwise and I really did enjoy it. The ice cream was the perfect consistency, not too firm and not too soft. Chocolate chips were plentiful and a really solid mint flavor. The wife picked a Boston Shake, something we used to get all the time at another local ice cream stop. I don't know what it was, but I did not like that shake at all. There was something just not right about the chocolate shake, had very little flavor. And since I went at Ned's suggestion, it is only fitting that I steal his euphemism... Service was slower than the Troy boat. No, I have no idea what exactly that means either. But the service was pretty slow for just the two of us. I was more than halfway done with my cone by the time my wife was at the table with her shake. If I would have waited I would have been holding a drippy mess. In the end, I didn't get what I went for but was satisfied with the alternative. With the schedule the way it is, I cannot see driving past other more convenient ice cream stands. Scoops just did not have enough of a reason to make it a destination of it's own and it's schedule really does shorten an already short summer ice cream season.
