I love to frequent several shops in the area & always love to stop in here to browse, see whats new to learn. The parking lot here is the bomb. They have tons of shady parking right near the front entrance. I usually shop & toss stuff in my YETI cooler while fannying about, so shady parking is a big plus for moi. The store is quite small but the inventory is plentiful, service is excellent & I have never had to wait in line to check out. Bathrooms are always clean. Will Return :)

The owner was incredibly friendly and genuinely knowledgably about the book world. She took time to educate me and other fellow guests about the history of the store, which you can learn more from the newspaper clippings in the back of the store. She also talked to me about the Little Free Libraries, how they work, how to find all the registered ones online, and even encouraged me by saying I could host one myself. A lot of the books I had have been out of print for 40 years, and I despaired of ever being able to replace them. I came across Donald H's review here on Yelp and was pleased to discover ZbookZ was only 5 minutes away. From the street the bookstore looks tiny (maybe 600 sq ft), but when I entered I discovered that there were several rooms stuffed to the rafters with used books! Had to be at least 2000 square feet! Jimmy greeted me like an old friend even though this was my first visit. He knows his stock, which is amazing because there had to be at least 20,000 books in the store. He took me directly to the books by the Author I was most anxious to replace (Donald Hamilton, who wrote westerns and spy novels from 1947 to 1989). He had 14 titles all in good to excellent condition and a 15th title missing the back cover and part of the front cover. Best of all, Jimmy was wiling to negotiate on the price, since some of these books were so old that the cover price was less than a dollar.

As a local I previously couldn't recommend this little gem enough. I loved supporting Mom and Pop…read moreshops and often donated my used books & encouraged friends to do the same. Went in today with a handful of books to donate and noticed the owner was helping another customer and not wearing a mask. Very irresponsible considering the number of tourists and old people in TI. It's a mask, not a straight jacket. Wear one to protect your customers (like me). Sad to see I had to choose between donating or potentially contracting COVID. I chose to donate my books elsewhere. Bummer.
