When he came by my place, Jacob was kind and professional. He identified the problem quickly and made a plan to replace the disposal. He did not even quote me a price for the work, he just said it was going to be very expensive and he was with the company only two months. Every job is plugged into a category and prices are set by category. You might have a job that takes half an hour or one that takes 2 hours, but they'll both be charged at the same (astronomic) rate. Had a leaking drain pipe under the kitchen sink. Needed new seals and maybe a section of plastic pipe replaced. Less than an hour job. Plumber came out and quoted $700. These people do not apply the $99 trip charge to repairs. After expressing outrage he lowered the quote to $400, plus the $99 trip charge. And tried to make it sound like he was doing a big favor. So $500 for a less than an hour job that even with $100 an hour for labor should have been $200 or so. I ate the trip charge and showed him the door. But if you like expensive plumbing repairs this is the place for you. No job too small to charge huge money for.
