They were the last people to touch my SUV before I left the next morning at 4am to a long road trip to Atlanta. I only noticed it when I was on the road the next day and was stuck having to listen to radio as my truck is older and doesn't have a Bluetooth connection. I waited to speak to a manager and the manager adamantly stated that no one that works there has an iPhone so no one would steal it. I kept explaining that if it got vacuumed that they should have told me as it's not that expensive to buy a new one. I doubt they vacuumed it because it's not easy to remove from the ac line. This man hung up on me when I said I am more upset that my item was either stolen or vacuumed without anyone telling me as the item only costs $9 and I could have replaced it before my trip. HE HUNG UP ON A PAYING RECURRING CUSTOMER. #1. It's ridiculous for him to state that no one the works there has an iPhone. How does he know what type of phone everyone has? #2. If a customer is stating that the item is missing after leaving, then work with the customer. #3. Extremely unprofessional to hang up on a customer with a complaint about service. They just lost a good customer over a $9 iPhone jack adapter. Also, note that I was giving this place another chance because they are so close to home. The last time I got an oil change and wash here they didn't even clean the inside of my SUV well. I had to beg them to clean the cup holders. When I noticed dust on the panel the "General Manager" told me that they aren't going to wipe the panel because they don't want to mess up radio stations and settings. I've never heard of that before. Years ago this place was great. The "General Manager" has run this place down and you can no longer get good service here. I've been to this car wash a hand full of times and I keep trying to give it another shot but after today I will not be back. The lady at the front desk is always professional and friendly but unfortunately the car wash/detailing itself is always a let down. There were smudges all over my front windshield (inside) and my review mirror. My rims were filthy, and my mats were all out of place. Conveniently located on W Hillsborough, in the quiet Westchase area, this full service car wash offers a variety of washes ranging from $10 to $24. The most expensive package, the Gold Wash, includes hand wax and ranges from $50 to $75. My favorite is the Ultimate Wash. At a bargain $23.99, you get an exterior wash, rims and tire shine, polish, interior vacuum, dash, consoles and mirrors. Not the same precision of a custom detailer but a vast improvement on the cheap. Plus they're fast and friendly. The most interesting aspect to this particular car wash is the wine selection inside. The waiting area is cozy and there are chairs outside as well. With Walgreens and Dunkin Donuts next door you can venture out while waiting. I highly recommend going during the week. This was my first time stopping by am coming across this place because I was going to the Walgreens next-door. At first, I was skeptical because I have been to many of these places and they do not do a good job, but I'm so glad I give them a try and leaving Flippers for good because my rims and front of the car is always dirty regardless which option I used to pick at Flippers. They have several different options as far as the carwashes and I chose the deluxe one which was 15.99. They have a wonderful waiting area which is indoors and outdoors and also a TV so you can just watch while you're waiting. Most importantly, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped with many options to choose from. It was very quick and I think that it took less than 20 minutes for my car to be completely done. They did a wonderful job cleaning the exterior there was not one single spot that was left out, the interior was very well cleaned as well. There were a few spots that were missed that were obvious, however I'm not worried about those because overall they did a fantastic job in they just earned a new customer. read more

My wife's car needed a car wash and we decided to try out A Plus Car Wash. We went on a Saturday at around 3:30 PM and it didn't appear to be too busy. On pulling in we were greeted by an attendant who asked what we needed, and pointed out the various wash packages. We initially asked for the ultimate wash, but realized that we didn't want the Armorall on the inside. The attendant was understanding and said that we could go with the deluxe wash which was the same thing but without the Armorall, so we went with that. Total with tax was $20.32 which we both thought was reasonable. After leaving the car we went inside to pay. Oddly enough, the place sells bottles of wine and greeting cards. I don't know about you, but I don't think I've ever bought greeting cards or wine at a car wash before, so this was a new experience for me. We paid and waited inside for a few minutes (standing room only) before we decided to go outside and sit in one of the chairs on the patio. We waited about 30 minutes for our car to be cleaned, and we were on our way. The technicians did a great job on the interior of the car and we were really happy with the work that they did. Additionally, the technicians at the end of the wash that did the hand dry did a fantastic job making sure we wouldn't have to deal with any water spots. On getting in the car, it smelled really great and just felt so clean. I swear the car runs better after getting washed! I'm going to take my car there tomorrow and get the same wash package that we got for my wife's car. If things turn out as good for my car as they did for my wife's, I'll up this to five stars. Edit: I went back on Tuesday, and they did a really good job with my car. However, we discovered that they did not vacuum out the trunk of my wife's car, so I'm going to leave this at a four. I brought my car during my lunch break for ultimate wash. It's actually popular time and wait was 40 min just get to a vacuum or start point. My disappointed was not only that I waisted so much time but mostly because the cashier - the young lady was very rude. I asked her a simple question: why one lane is 3 times faster then mine? Went for an oil change on Friday (2/14/2020) afternoon before heading out of town to Orlando for the weekend. Halfway into the drive low oil light comes on. Pulled over to check if it was just the reset- it wasn't, popped the hood and check the oil level- NO OIL!!! I paid for synthetic service 8 quarts ($108) and they put ZERO OIL in my vehicle!!!!! Luckily there was an auto shop open and I purchased oil and put it in myself. Went to open the oil cap - there is NO WAY they even attempted to put oil in the cap was so tight. Lazy service. Called as soon as I knew that was the issue they were already closed. Called first thing Saturday morning explained what happened told the guy that answered the phone AND the owner that they DID NOT put oil in my car and he CALLED ME A LIAR, even with pictures to prove it and receipt for the oil I bought all on the same day, and he hung up on me! If he (or anyone at that place) cared at all about his business he would have tried to make it right - NOPE - he preferred to tell me in 37 years he checks every single vehicle personally (I doubt it) and I am lying. Shame on this place for 1) treating a paying customer who's family has been coming here for several years with several vehicles, like I did something wrong 2) For not taking responsibility 3) for not providing the service that I paid for and for refusing a refund!! There was sooo much dust and dirt still in the car when they were done. The front passenger window had some smudges all over the window. They did such a horrible job. Really bad. Didn't even get in the middle console cleaned. Probably didn't touch it. The lady who charged us asked what scent we wanted. That wasn't sprayed in the car. Only realized after we were miles down the road. This place should be ashamed to rip people off. Stay clear of this car wash! I would never go back to this place. I only went here because it is close to my house. The only thing good about the place is the cashier inside was polite. read more

Excellent, friendly and efficient car wash service. A step up from the usual drive thru car wash. A+ offers several car wash packages. We tried the mid tier Super Wash package, which included cleaning the car wash, an air freshener scent, vacuum and polish. While the air freshener scent couldn't be detected by yours truly, the car came out incredibly clean -almost like new, in fact. The gents there towel dried the exterior of the car, the cabin of the car and also the trunk. A+ is a bit more pricey compared to self serve options, but I feel it's worth it. Pretty bad experience at this place last Saturday. It all started with the time it took to wash my car, close to 2 hours to get a car wash on a Saturday... I understand it's the weekend and they were busy but I'm sorry that shouldn't take 2 hours to wash a vehicle if you have an efficient carwash system/ people. I asked the lady that works there about taking so long and she said it's like that on Saturday and they had 2 people that work there that didn't show up that day. In addition, I paid for the medium wash ($14) and realized that it doesn't come with the tire dressing option so I asked her how much it would cost me for that, and she said $7 dollars... how's it possible to charge half of the cost of a wash for a 2-min tire dressing? On top of all of that, the wash was below average, they didn't vacuum the trunk at all, they didn't clean the dashboard or any of the interior parts... not even sure if they vacuumed the car - I think they just blew that compressed air to get rid of some of the dust. Overall the wash was very poor. The only positive side of that is that they have a wine store inside, which is cool if you want to grab a couple bottle while you wait... They used to be so good but now they are in such a hurry that my car is never clean anymore. Past few times there was still dirt on my floor mats, interior had not been wiped down at all even though I purchased the ultimate wash, and the windows were disgusting. This last time I went they must've wiped down my front windshield with a rag that had some sort of chemical on it because there is this cloudy white film that will not come off no matter how many times I have tried to wipe it down myself. My daughter brought her car there for a full service wash to include cleaning the bugs off the front and full armor-all inside and out. (To prepare for a dealer trade) The car actually looked worse on the interior. It looked like a wet/greasy rag was used instead of armor-all. We had to redo the inside before heading over to the lot. My first time there and I was very satisfied. I went Monday about 4:15. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. My car was filthy full of pollen both inside and out. My car came out looking brand new! If course there were a few spots I needed to go over but for $25.67 and a few dollars tip I deff think I got my money's worth. It might depend on when you go because they are usually packed. Ive been here plenty of times and to be honest, they are good!. A little pricey. I usually get the 12.99 wash, gets the job done. Last time i paid $20 and it wasn't any different from the 12.99. The best time is to go bright and early. Around that time they have more workers than cars and more concentration and better job is done on your car. I've been a member of Yelp for several years and I've never given a single star review ever. I always give them a second chance or the benefit of a doubt that they are just having a bad day. I've been in Customer Service for 20 banking years and it's always been ingrained to take care of your customers, right or wrong, listen to them and treat them with respect. Avoid this place. I brought my 2017 Jeep Cherokee there for the $16.95 indoor vacuum and wax. Being in a rush I didn't notice the poor cleaning job they did with streaks all over but they also forgot to put my car mats back, one in front and one in back. As soon I get home within the hour I notice the missing floor mats and called them immediately. They tell me that they will check and call me back. Needless to say nobody called me back. So when I returned the next day I speak to their manager (no name given) and he immediately insists that they didn't have them. They didn't bother to ask the other workers and then he proceeds to tell me I am lying and tells me to leave and that I am no longer welcome there. Seriously people why would I LIE!!! And why would you treat customers like that. This was my second time here and now besides me writing this review I am also reporting them to Better Business Bureau. But no, they use a machine to clean and wash off the soap. This last wash took them 27 minutes for a basic wash and vac. And I was the only car there. If I had seen someone's reviews, I would not have gone there for my car wash. They scratched my brand new car!!!! I went in around 5:00pm. I was told that the store close at 5:30. They did it very fast about 10 min with water on. Since the store was about to close, I didn't not check the car seriously. Right after I got home, I noticed some interior scratches in my car!!!! Obviously, it was made by the vacuum. My car was brand new. There was not any scratch before!!!! I went back second day. There was a guy used his fingers to rub against the scratches back and forth and then denied. No apologies; nothing. I was so so upset. Never come back again. They are selling the service. They broke the manufacturer-installed mounting bracket for my cup holder and threw away the cupholder hoping that I would not notice that it was missing. I came here for the first time to get my car washed. After I was told my car was finished I walk out to my car to find it still really dirty in spots. Unhappy with the job I asked the owner/manager about it and he could care less. He basically told me that they couldn't clean everywhere if the car was too dirty on the outside. I have a white car so yes it was dirty but it did not have extreme dirt by any means, not mud, bugs etc... just your normal dirt that happens. I could literally run my finger through the dirt that was left on the trunk. He told me it was a hard to reach place. So I asked him well do you just run it through a car wash or do you actually wash it? He said they run it through and use a brush. So again I asked him why the trunk was still so dirty all around the license plate, on the hinge, the logo etc... he basically ignored me and said it wasn't reached by the wash. So I said okay well why then is the hood of my car still so dirty? That's not a hard to reach place. He then told me that it was stuff from the trees and it would never come off. I told him I was unhappy with the wash I received when I paid $10. If I wanted a bad car wash I would have driven it through a car wash myself for half that price. He then finally got a rag and made a half-effort to wipe clean the hood. Which by the way those spots came right off despite him telling me it would never come off. He left the back dirty and the other half of the hood dirty too and said there you go. I left disgusted at the job that was done and the attitude of the owner... horrible customer service.
