I think a 5 star business deserves much kudos and recognition for distinguishing itself as becoming the top dog in its industry. Must be competitive in price yet reasonable, provide exceptional customer service, unique experience, go extra, and a great product. That being said, A Plus Interlock is exactly that Price - 5 Stars: Better priced than others that's how I originally found them. Try for yourself you'll see. Service - 5 Stars: This is where they excel. Cheryl & Codee are phenomenal beings. Zero judgments from these guys and make you feel comfortable from the moment you call/come in. You end up building a friendship with them. Location: Plenty of parking, coffee always prepared in the morning for us, comfy office. Despite their office being in Ogden and me living in Salt Lake, I was bummed about having to make the commute but after meeting them and working with them, I gladly made the commute. Product - meh. typical in the industry. Experience - 5 Stars: I'd recommend this place to all those seeking to install a lock. Codee and Cheryl are friendly, accommodating, accepting, and want to get to know you. They don't see you as a customer but more than that. They take the extra to make you feel good. I called them and they said I would have to come in to get it reset so I did. The problem here is they want to hold you accountable for anything that comes with this device, but when they screw-up they will not hold themselves accountable. If they have to come to you and find that you are at fault for the maintenance reasoning, they charge you. If they screw up and you have to come to them, you get nothing. It would have been nice to get an apology for screwing up and offering a discount on the next month for the inconvenience of having to come back down due to their negligence. Needs better customer service.

Unfortunately, if you actually want to use your Tesla after having Smart Start installed, good luck. In less than 2 months, I have had to go into the shop to have my device reset 3 times. From the start, the mechanic complained and warned me about actual use. I didn't think it'd be this bad. The service staff is great and customer service is super nice. Hence, the 1 star. From beginning to end. It seems everyone in the company and it's mechanic's that they commission to service the device know there are issues. For some reason, it hasn't made it to the top executive suite to fix. Don't get me started on the app when you have something happen outside your normal service interval. That apparently is a known issue, too. Fix it, SmartStart. Maybe start using electricians instead of mechanics. I'm not the pro here. You are.

They went above and beyond and even put air in my tire that was flat! The past two years, I have seen multiple customers being rude to the workers and taking out their anger from having to get an interlock and the annoyance of it on the workers. But the workers have always kept it professional and were respectful back. No better place in Utah for an interlock, and they are judgement free! Our 2007 Honda Element was our dog car that we hauled a 217 lb great Dane around in. The seats were covered in slobber and drool and filled with hair. These guys took on the job as no big deal, said it wasn't too bad. WOW!!! Amazing work, our vehicle looks brand new. I highly recommend these guys if you need your vehicle detailed. I also noticed how clean the windows and gauges are as well. It really looks showroom quality. The price was real nice too, (under $200) for this complete job that was about 4 hours from drop off to pick up.
