I was very disappointed with how my nails ended up, First of all, my nails were supposed to be a solid color with a different color for my ring finger's nail, there was also a big gap of my nail being shown near my cuticles. After a few weeks of my nail polish being on I decided that I wanted to do my own nails in a different color and I tried getting it off with super-strong nail polish remover, I tried rubbing it on one finger for 5 minutes and it didn't come off so I decided to peel it, BAD IDEA! I recently visited this salon for a pedicure and was very pleased with their work. I love that they answer their phone to make appointments. I had 2 nails that are growing out and they suggested doing an acrylic on each of them to make the overall effect more consistent and beautiful. Really enjoyed the experience and result. Very bad service!!! My nail came off the nail bed less than 24 hours after having them done. Phil walked away & left me sitting for 15 minutes while he went to the back to do whatever & forgot where he was. I was in Hawaii & the already lifted nail came completely off! As soon as I got back to NY, I had my nails done the next day & was charged an extra $3 to fix his mess up. Phil then calls me & tells me to find a new nail person because I questioned him about the charge for his mess up. Disgraceful!!! read more

ATTN: Went in to get my nails done and had a very hurtful racist experience. I went into this nail salon to get my nails done. The lady, which seemed like the owner was rude as soon as I walked in, I didn't judge and assumed it may just be the tone of her voice... before being seated I was asked to pay first.... This was my first time at this nail salon so I assumed it was a store policy. As I sat there getting my nails done I realized 4 people came in after me and none were asked to pay. Worst nail service provider in Plattsburgh, NY! I had an appointment with a friend at 3:00 PM on a particular day. I accidentally went to Walmart thinking this nail place was inside Walmart, which it wasn't. At 3:08 PM my friend texted me and asked where was I and I explained I went to the wrong place and she said I'm on my final nail coat of polish. The pedicure was eight minutes long? And she stated they did absolutely nothing except the bottom of her feet and paint her nails and then charged her $35. I was very satisfied with the pedicure I got ! The nice gentleman that did my was very nice and did a fantastic job ! I paid and left got in the car and looked at my toes and one had gotten scraped off ! I went right back in and they fixed it right away not sure how it happened but they repaired it ! Decided to try this place as my start of summer mani/pedi was fading! Walked in at opening time and there were already 2 people there. There was a non stop flow of customers during my time there. My pedicure was done very well and my gel manicure was as well. The young woman who did my mani/pedi was friendly and cheerful throughout! Waited over a half hour even tho I made an appt. Sat with my nails soaking in acetone for another 30mins. People who came in half an hour later than me had their nails done before mine. The polish on my nails is so thick and the edges of my nails hardly even filed (they're all uneven). I get my nails done every 2 weeks, so I know what a good manicure consists of. When getting nails tips put on, there is usually a manicure with it. My nails were neither trimmed and the cuticles are terrible, making the nails look awful. Um my nails are ruined. Like out of commission for the next few months. i got anc in vermont right? This shop said they had it so i went there. I sat for over an hour and a half with my nails in little foils. I kept telling them that they needed to soak and they said "we dont do that here", then they dremmeled and used nail clippers on the surface of my nails until they were paper thin and breaking off. I have been going here for a long time, started this past fall getting my nails done every two weeks. Couple months ago my new set didn't even last two weeks, when I went back I expressed I was a little upset that it had happened and was pretty much told oh well. Yep oh well I let it go and still kept going back, things happen I let it go. Now again, I was there on 4/18 and 5 days later my nails are coming off. I kindly sent a message expressing how upset I was since I am a regular customer that is there EVERY 2 weeks and was told that without bringing in my nails so that they can be examined to see if it was a product or technician error they would give me the benefit of the doubt and give me 20% off my next service. It's not like I have only gone there a few times and they can't trust me so I was told they are giving me the benefit of the doubt...AGAIN I'm a regular customer! Not impressed with the way they handled the situation and treated a regular paying customer.
