We had already called out Brandon from Non-Stop-Plumbing weeks earlier who said that like it or not, there isn't a temporary (cheap) solution, the entire sewage must be replaced. Brandon was unavailable when an emergency leak occurred so we called Walt Hornsby who came out and investigated himself. Instead of adequately diagnosing the sewage problem from the start, he suggested an unsubstantiated theory that the house had multiple sewage lines running to it and there was no way to know for certain without ripping out the floors, as the crawl-space was too tight. He then did a temporary fix for $450. The sewage exploded the following week. We called him again for this 2nd emergency. This time he was able to access the crawlspace by simply opening up part of the foundation and discovered that there is in fact just a single sewage line, but it was clogged by roots. Another temporary fix for $850. Sewage exploded the following day. I called Brandon who replaced the sewage line from ancient galvanized/root infested to modern PVC. Walt cost me $1300 down the drain. He is either a crook or simply unqualified.

One of the trades advised me to be patient and to make sure I took my own photos, which I did--and that turned out to be very helpful. My main point of contact was Johnny. I understood there would be delays due to the holidays, so I remained patient throughout the process. There were a few issues along the way, but I documented everything and voiced my concerns. Johnny made sure those concerns were addressed and that I was taken care of. I truly appreciate Johnny for not turning a blind eye and for making sure the service was handled properly. His professionalism and willingness to help made a difference in my overall experience.

I let them take advantage of our family…read more TLDR: I believe they overcharged us. $409 for 5 seconds of diagnostics and 25 min of labor including 3 trips to the truck (one was to retrieve a replacement pin for one that had been dropped in to the wall), and a $60 part that they itemized as $340 on my bill. I called multiple times to speak with the field manager and was not able to connect with him. We had a leak in our shower that the technician with five seconds of looking at it determined he was 99% confident on what the issue was. He started repairs at 1:46 PM and finished at 2:11 PM with everything working. Our work starting window being (11-2pm) My issue comes with the fact that I think they overcharged us for the job that they did. After writing the check and thinking over the entire interaction, I began to feel very uneasy with how everything played out. I was not given a breakdown prior to the service beginning. Only a line on a phone to sign that I agreed to the price. I was not offered the opportunity to read what I was signing (nor did I ask, which is my fault.) no shoe covers were worn in our home which now has subsequent consequences for my time of needing to get out of the spot cleaner. Only after the project had been complete was I given an explanation of what labor went on (again my fault for not asking prior to). When I initially made the appointment, I was given the price for the service call, but I neglected to ask what their minimum job cost is (still not sure of what that is). Afterwards, I called the office trying to get a better idea of why the cost was so high. My frame of reference being that we had had a kitchen faucet and a disposal replaced within the last year with Fitzgerald and neither of these items including parts cost more than $400. The lady in the office was very kind and offered to put me in touch with the field manager. He did give me a call back after a few days however I was not in a place to chat with my Twins screaming in the backseat. I did call two other times to try and get in touch with him and have not received a call back to date. Overall, I learned a lot from this experience, and I believe it's important to share so that others understand how to advocate for themselves in an area in which they might not be technically skilled. Ultimately, they are well within their right to cash my check because I did agree to the price. I however will be asking a lot more questions next time, and probably be seeking a different company. I took their marketing for face value and feel like stewardship was mishandled. Our technician rusty was great! Very respectful that we had three children napping when he came to do repairs. After the repair, he explained to me what he did. Was very courteous to me. My only qualm was that he did not wear shoe covers and our home and had to walk through our master bedroom that has beige carpet and I will need to get out our spot cleaner to clean this up.

After completing his diagnostic testing, Jeff determined the pump was inoperable and needed replacement. Within an hour, he returned with the necessary equipment, replaced the pump, and clearly explained the next steps required to restore the system to proper operation. The following day, Jeff brought additional staff to dig down to the tanks and recommended installing risers to prevent unnecessary damage to the yard during future maintenance. Jeff's expertise and his thoughtful recommendations to make the system more maintenance-friendly are what truly set him apart.
