NO STARS!! DO NOT GO HERE, THIS FAMILY IS A BUNCH OF THIEVES!…read moreBrought in my 2012 Altima in February 2020, owner stated that he could not put a rebuilt transmission in my car because the technical service bulletin from Nissan said so, I would have to buy a new transmission. Attached in yellow is the receipt from that purchase, a $4200 replacement. 2 weeks ago my car would slow to almost a crawl, losing all power on the road. I decided to take it to Harrell and Beverly Transmissions in Sanford who have been around for 80 years and are 4th generation owners, stellar reputation, and get their opinion. Oh boy what they found!!!! I have attached copies of their extensive service report and low and behold they state, without a doubt, that the transmission that Action put in was not only not a new one, or a rebuilt one, but in fact was taken from a junkyard. Picture 3 gives a complete breakdown of the deception that Action has been caught in. Apparently when you put a new or rebuild transmission in a vehicle you have to reset certain values to tell the computer onboard that it has a new or rebuild transmission, so the car doesn't think its still operating a used transmission. Well, as you can read in the report, that was never done because the transmission was a junker to start with. I now have to scrap this car because it costs to much to fix, thanks to Action Transmission, who are liars and thieves. I confronted them at their shop and was laughed at and told to leave. Excellent customer service, just one more thing they are awful at. I wish I had paid the extra money upfront with Harrell and Beverly and not looked for the cheaper shop, my mistake. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. They deserve to go out of business and I'm posting this on every possible online and offline board that I can find. ACTION YOU ARE THIEVES AND YOU ARE DESPICABLE!

They offered a much better deal than the dealership and were transparent about the process. 5 stars for prompt service, experience, pricing, and integrity.

They're pretty good for used parts and repairs. We've been using them for what seems like forever;…read morethe Clayton boys aren't exactly boys anymore. lol Dad even shopped here often enough to become familiar with them. They're definitely one of my go-to spots when I'm searching for parts. Whenever they don't have what I'm looking for, they've always been pretty good with pointers; which is on a level of customer service you don't see with other salvage yards. I usually just stop in to say hi when I'm looking for whatever or see if they've got what I need by searching them online. I've bought so many parts from them over the years I can't remember but this last time in was a convertible top for an 03 Mustang GT. Once pulled a set of leather seats for a 74 Mark IV; that was a fun project! They've done some good work for me too. Solved a tricky A/C bug I was having with old Mercedes 190E years ago. Swapped out some Town Car airbags for coil springs. Good stuff. Always honest and fair which is something you don't always see in this business.

Had to call back a few hours later to get a few ducks in a row on my end. When I called back Natalie was gone and some rude guy with a huge chip on his shoulder, would not let me speak or even ask a question. And when I kept waiting for him to finish speaking to tell him I had a couple questions that would help me to answer his, he literally spoke over me LOUDER TO SAY " Am I coming at 4 o'clock are you gonna answer the question or not?" I'm in customer service and have been 15 years. I don't even know how they have this person representing or answering anything. They should stick with professionals like Natalie answering calls and keep this very upset with life human being off the phones. So sorry to say that I can't even say how the actual business went. Cause they couldn't manage a simple phone conversation. Good luck if your in that area though. Would love to think however based off a recommendation that not all interactions there are like this, also based off the interaction I had earlier with Natalie. But no one should be spoken to like that from a business. And would love to provide a name of this perturbed individual but of course, couldn't get a word out to ask a name. And he didn't say his when answering like the other people did. But whoever's answering phones at 3pm Thursdays be switched lol

Due to water on Cortland just before Ft Smith light - I hydroplaned & my 2012 Taurus limited hit…read morethe curb (didn't jump it), but it caused severe damage to front right passenger tire area. Out of desperation, I had car towed here. They quoted $2900 for tie rod, rotor arm, & mount/install/balance 1 tire. I was told this would be done in a few days. I paid to rent a car for a week and Felix reassured me that was plenty of time. They called yesterday and added axle assembly for same tire area. They shared this would add another $200-$250. I've now added 3 days to rental I'm paying for and they simply don't reply when asked about these prices. I feel taken advantage of because I needed the car towed and a name like HONEST sounded, well.... Just that. In my research, with OEM parts, I'm being well overcharged on each line item. they were incredibly obtuse in our initial conversation about pricing & repairs. I'll come back and edit this if I find the pricing and other details are fair. For now, I'm bummed out that people in need of help are taken advantage of due to an urgent situation. I plan to talk to the city as I did get video after the hydroplane to show the water on road (15 mins after incident) and how there's no brake/skid marks. Hoping they help w cost.
