I had A Raymond plumbing come out to my home 3 times for a clog that backed up in my home several times. The first few times the guy came out, looked at how the pipes were and snaked the main toilet. Got nothing out the first time but thought he got it, called back for a 2nd time as it clogged again and he pulled out a couple wipes and thought he got it. He left and a couple days later it floods again. Called a Raymond back and explained the situation and they were very accommodating and sent out Thomas. Thomas not only looked at the main pipes he actually went around the house, looked at the sump pump and grinder and went outside to look at the pipes. He got his camera out as well and used the outside pipe where he was able to not only clear the clog but show me and explain everything to me in terms I understood. If I ever have another plumbing issue it will be thomas from a Raymond plumbing I will be calling! read more

the drain in my basement backed up flood my basement - Thomas or Carlos not sure of name when I called, I advise I need my drain cleared he did not bring anything to clean it just his tablet, so he ran water in my washer, and it was draining so told me it was working. Then told him washer heater is not working, and my nephew came to start it and could not get to work so he thought the electric start got wet so I would probably need a plumber to fix it. told the Thomas/Carlos the he would get an appointment for today so the appointment was this afternoon - when I call to see where service person was they have no record of this appointment. so this whole experience cost me $145 and the did nothing for me. would I use the again never - I have my house and 2 rental properties read more

I wish that you could leave a negative star. I have HomeServe insurance and A Raymond was referred by them. If this ever happens to you RUN. Every negative review about them is true and then some. I was insulted, mocked and lied to non-stop. I've never been lied to so much in my life. This is the most unprofessional racket that I've ever dealt with. I am also very disappointed with HomeServe for recommending them. My repair was also supposed to be at no out of pocket expense to me and that is stated on the invoice. I wish it was possible to give this firm minus stars. I am in charge of maintenance in our HOA . One homeowner had a service warranty through Home Service and developed a sever pipe problem and they assigned A Plumbing to the job. While addressing the problem, it was necessary to excavate in the street to connect to main line. They arranged for location of public utilities, but failed to check for private lines as required by the 811 rules. As a result, they cut the electric wire to our private street lights. I hired another locater service to locate the street wire and discovered the cut wire was right in the middle of their excavation. The 811 rules are very clear that it is the excavator's responsibility to make sure there are no private utilities such as our street lights. They were either uninformed of 811 rules are just too lazy to check before excavating. I have contacted A Raymond Plumbing via email and formal letter requesting they repair the damage they caused. To my surprise they have not responded to my requests, which clearly demonstrates a lack of basic trust or concern in dealing with their customers. I will be taking every action available to make sure they take responsibility for their mistakes according to the clear rules of 811. Many of our homeowners have the Home Service plan and a call to their customer service will be my first call , the second call will be to the city hot line and the last call to Better Business Bureau. If I could award zero stars, I would! I pay for HomeServe services, including plumbing, and I've done so for a few years. A Raymond Plumbing is a service provider under the plan. This is the 3rd time I've requested service where the responding plumber is a flat out rude jerk! My husband needed to simply turn a washing machine so the plumber (Derek) could access the main with his machine. We've had a backup causing a huge mess and fecal matter on the laundry room floor. This guy refused to wait 5 minutes for my husband to turn the machine. Instead, he left and told my husband to call HomeServe again after the washer was turned! He said his boss wouldn't want him standing around waiting! My husband said hang on, it will just take me a couple of minutes and that's all it did take him! I don't think this company or their plumbers understands who the customer is and who is paying!? I requested that they never service us again under that warranty. Three times met with a jackass attitude and zero sense for customer service or courtesy. No thanks! It seems he just didn't want to do the job. Unbelievable attitude, too! read more

A Raymond came to my home due to water coming in my basement, as I was unsure where the water was coming from. The plumber showed up completely unprepared with a camera that didn't work and had to run back to shop for another camera and additional pieces for the snake. All while charging me for drive time to and from my home for his time. The plumber was unable to finish the job and advised me before he left that if I called another company to come figure out the problem, to call A Raymond back and they could come fix what the other company finds. I've been in construction for over 40 years, have 3 brothers and a sister. All of have been in construction for over 40 years, including both parents. They either own their own business (General contractors) or work for other very large companies and have never dealt with an individual that charges money for an estimate. I called them in Sept 2022 and they wanted to charge me something like $135.00 for and estimate for work that should have amounted to around $1,200 dollars. In my opinion any company that has to charge for an estimate doesn't understand how a "Free Market" works best and has too many issues with standing behind their work. read more

I was having a very slow drain in my bathroom sink. I tried using the usual methods, to no avail. I called A.Raymond, setup an appointment. When the person got here, all he did was pour some crystal granules down the sink. However, on the receipt report, he stated that he disassembled the p-trap and pulled some hair out. He was not here even 30 minutes, and there is no way that he could have accomplished any of that in the amount of time that he was here. Bottom line here is: Don't Call A.Raymond for anything. read more

Be ware!! Do not use these guys. They come in and use your shop vac to clean up the mess then shop vac has to be thrown away. They tell you you need to tear up your concert floor and replace the pipe and they charge you over $300 and don't even fix the problem. We called for a second opinion and they cleared the line and done a couple extra plumbing requests and charged $200. This company should not be allowed to be in business. read more

I came home for lunch today to discover that there was a hose hooked up to my side yard water bib for the home construction next door. I had previously asked them not to steal our water, but here they were pumping a continuous flow of water into the adjacent home for their plumbing installation. When asked why they were stealing our water and trespassing on our property, the response was, "We tried to knock and ask permission, but nobody was home." Apparently, that makes it okay to simply help yourself. Can they not provide a water truck for their workers? Instead they mooch off the nearest water source and it could be yours. I would not use this company from the standpoint of their low moral standards and illegal behavior. Beware. read more

Had a septic tank and pumping station installed in June (paid over 6 grand) and A Raymond plumbing destroyed my backyard to where it is too rough to mow. Called numerous times to have them fix it but the owner Andy just laughs He says they don't do grading and sow grass seed. Don't want seed just want to be able to mow my yard.The lid on the pumping tank doesn't fit and is unsafe but he doesn't care. Says on website satisfaction guaranteed what a joke.
