I asked what I would have to pay if I had to cancel the reservation as this day in age that is a standard question. I was told $50. I was comfortable being out $50 if I had to cancel. Fast forward a few months when I did need to cancel. I was told I would be out $229, not $50. When I asked about this I was told I had to pay the cost of insurance that was non-refundable. Insurance was never discussed during booking and something that was NOT communicated to me when asked how much I would have to pay if I needed to cancel. If you are booking, please make sure to get the full picture of cancellations in writing prior to booking.

I paid for the trip. Then my friends wanted to go. She quote them a price and put them on a payment plan. Then she calls them the next day and tells them that they have to pay in full. They stated they would no be able to go. Then she changed them a fee for booking. Now it is the end of September. She calls me and tell me that I have a balance due. I tell her what is she talking about. I paid in full in June. Then she says because my friends cancel I have to pay more. I asked her why she didn't let me know that in June. She tells me it is not my responsibility to make sure that my bill is paid. Then said you should check you email. I told her why am I checking my email if I paid in full. Now I am fighting to get my money back for this trip. She really needs to work on her communication skills.
