I had my vehicle broken into and immediately called my insurance companies roadside assistance number. I was given an estimated ETA of 30 minutes at 1:30pm. I had to call to get updates and they kept saying 45 minutes. Because I 5 is closed and they are coming from Burien, I'm not sure how it could possibly take 6 hours for them to update me and then tell me that they are not going to be able to make it to tow my vehicle. My vehicle was left on the trail head exposed for over 5 hours leaving it susceptible to more vandalism and theft. When I called one of their drivers I felt like they kind of shrugged off my concerns as being a joke. The trailhead was about to close and luckily I was directed with a more reliable tow company who picked up my vehicle before the locked up for the night. Given my experience with A-Seattle towing I will never use them or recommend them to anyone. When I called the manager to state my concerns there was no accountability. He did apologize towards the end of my call. I guess that's something and the closest they will get to being accountable. This could have and should have been handled very differently. If they were not able to make it, they should have communicated that to my insurance company so another tow company could pick up my vehicle long before it got to 6 hours of sitting in the parking lot. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They towed my vehicle to their yard Friday night. In my past experiences whenever I have had my vehicle towed to a yard by other companies my car was gone through and things were stolen but when I went to pick up my vehicle on Saturday EVERYTHING was there exactly where I left it including my wallet with all my credit cards, ID and cash. They were fast to get my vehicle towed back to my home after I paid and had very reasonable rates. I put in for a tow to get my car to the shop this morning with my roadside assistance and they were the ones dispatched to pick it up again. Brandon was very nice and very helpful. He was on time and quick to get my car where it was going. This place is A+++++ in my book. At this point I would trust them with my life. I am working from home and he was awesome and said he just needed my keys and backed the car on himself so I could go back to my meetings. The staff here were super helpful and accommodating considering my situation. I was in a really bad car wreck and they made the process for me retrieving my items from the rental car very seamless considering my very short timeframe. They were even willing to work with me during the time they usually take their lunch break. A friend borrowed my car and got pulled over by State Patrol. He didn't know that his license had been suspended so they had A Seattle Towing tow my car. All my paperwork was in the car so I didn't know the plate or VIN# and no one could tell me where my car was. It took a week to find it because the officer had input my friends name as the owner. The fee for the tow & storage for 9 days was almost $1000! There was NO WAY I could afford that. I asked to speak to the Owner to explain the situation & he dropped it almost $600 to allow me to get my car. Tow companies are extremely difficult to deal with & not known to budge on fees so I felt truly blessed. A Seattle Tow is the ONLY company I will use in the future & will recommend to everyone. If your car is ever towed, pray it's by this company!!! read more

I was in an accident on I-5 and when getting me into the cab, Mohamed (hopefully I spelled his name right) shielded me from traffic with himself, had my car loaded up in less than 5 minutes, and even dropped me off at my job, even though it was about 20 minutes, round trip, out of his way. The staff was always kind and helpful when I stopped by to clean out the car, and even towed the car to my desired destination a couple of days later (for their going rate). A Seattle Towing was the company my insurance selected when my car was having problems in the SEATAC airport garage. The driver that arrived, Alex, was spectacular. He was able to guess that the problem was a stolen catalytic converter, and lifted my Prius with his truck to confirm. His service got even better from there! He skillfully towed the Prius out of the garage (sometimes given less than 1" clearance with the garage structures!) and worked with the garage staff to contact the police to get a report written for insurance purposes. He waited with us for the police to arrive, shared details with them, recommended a garage that was most likely to have replacement converters, and helped get us on our way. Without Alex and A Seattle Towing, this entire incident may have been much more stressful and much more expensive. I cannot imagine better service from any towing company, and Alex is kind of our hero right now. Thank you!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I WAS SEXUALLY ASSAULTED BY ONE OF THEIR DRIVERS! Needed a tow today and didn't have a ride. So I thought it would be fine to ride in the tow truck. Had an argument with the driver telling me I could ride in the truck because of COVID but I had talked to the company an hour prior and no one said anything to me about getting a ride. I waited in my car on the side of the freeway for an hour and I could have gotten a ride, but again, no one told me to do so. I wish I had gotten a ride. As soon as they got to my car, I was met by two men, father and son. I get in their three seater truck while waiting for them to pull my car up. The son asks me to get out of the car so he could sit in the middle, so I complied. I get out and as he was getting in this man GRABBED MY BUTT! I was literally so shocked and confused! I had no where to go and I was on the side of the road, I called someone and stayed on the phone the entire time and shared my location with family, but I can't believe this!! And this man had the audacity to text me afterwards and thank me for being nice. How about a big F YOU! read more

We recently had our motorhome breakdown on the Stevens Pass. Our insurance company contacted A-Seattle Towing to come for us. When Alex and his coworker arrived in the tow truck, they were the best. We had found out the original location the insurance company said to have the rig towed to didn't perform the work needed. We discussed that issue with Alex and it was decided we needed to take it a different direction. He was very understanding and shared his knowledge of what locations might be able to fix our rig. When we got to the location, it was closed. Alex again showed excellent customer service and made sure we found a safe place to leave the rig over night, as the initial company was closed and the neighborhood not the safest to leave it over night. Pros: The tow arrived at approximately the correct time and the car got from point A to point B successfully. Cons: Customer Service. My car got hit and needed to be towed. My insurance company sent this towing company (A-Seattle Towing) to take my car to the body shop. I received a text confirmation of the time that the tow truck would arrive. This ms have been my insurance company, but it was tried nice. About 10 minutes before the truck was supposed to show up, I got a call from the drivers to figure out my location. This is where the trouble started. I tried my best to explain where I was and how to find me. I had pulled off the road and into a parking lot when I got hit, so to be fair, my car was not the most visible from the street. The driver (or I found out, driver and assistant) did not speak much English. When I tried to explain the cross-street, the driver laughed at me and hung up the call. I called back twice -- once was rejected and the other was picked up, only to be laughed at again and told that they needed the cross-street, which I had already done my best to explain to them using highly visible landmarks around the area where my car was located. I asked them to please work with me, and only received more laughs in return. To flag them down, I had to leave my car and walk two blocks away, then run back as they moved in the direction of my car. When they found my car, there was no greetings or instructions for what I needed to do or information that I needed to provide; there was just an ask for keys. Okay, that's fine. I figured that there would be paperwork for turning over the car to them, but there was nothing of that sort either. I asked if they had the correct address to take the car, and relieved a nod in return, but no confirmation where it would be going. The car was loaded and I followed it with my boyfriend to the repair shop. At the shop, they just dropped the car wherever they wanted. The point of having it towed was not to drive it due to the damage from the accident. My boyfriend had to drive it back almost a block to the collision repair shop. After I came outside with the woman from the shop to do an initial intake assessment, the car had been moved unbeknownst to us, but when we asked the driver where the car was, they responded that they had dropped it off and it had been driven off. This made me nervous, not knowing it had been moved by my boyfriend at the time. Over an hour later, I received another phone call from the drivers asking me if I needed a tow. I responded that I had already been towed. They kept asking me if I needed a tow and again, I responded that I had already been towed. They then asked how long previous I had been towed and I responded 45 mins to an hour. Overall, I didn't expect much from a towing company, but I did expect them to be professional. Especially when working with people who have just been in car accidents or other nerve wracking situations. I did not choose the company, my insurance company did. I didn't expect to be laughed at and treated with the disrespect and disregard that I was afforded. It made a crappy situation that much worse. Two stars for the car getting to the correct location and for the tow being approximately on time, despite the negative experience. read more

This driver is used to finding people in dire straits and taking advantage of them. My roadside assistance takes care of the original rescue but limit their service to 15 miles. The Safeco rep told me I would be charged the remainder of milage by the tow company and it should be 16 miles according to their GPS settings. The tow truck driver took a half hour longer to find me than expected because he couldn't grasp the fact I was so easy to find. At the entrance to Sea-Tac airport. The first thing he said was, "You understand your insurance company only covers 15 miles, right?" I let him know I had heard that in my conversation with the roadside assistance rep. His second sentence was, "It is going to be expensive". GPs tells me it is 28 miles to your shop from the 15 mile limit and that will be 8 dollars per mile... but I'll give you a deal, 7 dollars a mile. I'm saving you 28 dollars." I mentioned the discrepancy between the roadside assistance folks and his calculations and he wanted to show me the mileage on his gps app. I had waited for an hour and a half, so I said "let's just get going". This is when he told me he needed to take a small detour to pick up another delivery for the town he was delivering me to. In shock, I asked him why I would be paying for another client. He replied that he would doc some of the milage because he was only going a mile or two out of our way. I said, "Look man, I had just finished a coffee while I waited for you and I;ve needed a bathroom for some time now. I'd rather not hold it any longer than I had to. He wanted to stop at a gas station so I wouldn't be in such a hurry. I said, do what you have to do, I'm going to chat with the roadside assistance people about what I should expect in this situation, after we get my car delivered and I'm no longer in pain. We road in silence the rest of the way, but he did deliver me without the detour. While we travelled I noted that he was the type of driver I dreaded meeting on the road. He folded his seatbeilt across his lap to make it look used, but had jimmied the warning system not to bother him when it wasn't latched. He took phone calls while driving and was constantly texting while he drove. He moved up from a 1 to a 2 when he dropped his need to double up his customers and took my advice instead of going the long way a few times. read more

Well... the 45 minute wait turned into over an hour.... but I sort of expected that. What I didn't expect was a guy to show up who had no idea how to find or remove the spare tire on my car! First he asked for the manual (don't have one) and then when I told him it was an under-car stowage compartment, he didn't know how to release it. So I showed him how to remove the liners from the cargo department.... and I showed him where the release lever was... and I showed him how to use the tools to make the release mechanism work! he was finally able to drop the spare from the stowage compartment. Then, he couldn't figure out how to release the tire from the mounting bracket. After fiddling with it for several minutes... he finally figured it out. Over all... I am reporting this less than adequate service to my insurance company. I don't pay umpty bucks a year for roadside service to be an "instructor" to teach the tow truck driver how to change a tire! read more

I was stranded on the side of the highway ramp at 11:15pm and was recommended this company by my insurance. I spoke directly with the towing company and was given a time estimate of 30 minutes until pickup. 40 minutes later, they had not arrive. So I called the towing company back to confirm my location and pick up time. I was told they would be there in 10 to 15 minutes. Another 40 minutes pass and they still hadn't arrived. I had my insurance company call and cancel the pickup and the driver lied and said he was at my location, which he clearly wasn't. They made no effort to communicate with me that they were running late or lost or not coming. read more

On 5/27/16 my 04 Jetta 1.8T broke down. I pulled off the road, turned the car off and waited for my insurance company to contact me as to who they called. They called A-Seattle Towing. They asked me what type of car, color etc....when they guy got to me pulled the truck up to my car, lowered the flatbed, asked what was wrong I explained that I was pretty sure if was a water pump. He then asked for my keys, he gets in my car stares in confusion and hops out and tells me he can't drive a stick.....so I say to him....ok why don't you just use the winch? He tells me he can't....so he asks me to start my car and drive it up the tilted flatbed myself....are you kidding me? So I do what I can to get the car up the ramp, I get part way up he says I'm good.....then after I stop he tells me to go farther....while I am on the ramp....with a stick at a very steep angle......needless to say I am heel-toeing the brake and gas to get my car up this ramp. Once I am up there I am cursing under my breath. We get in the truck and head out, now I am sure you all are thinking he must have got home without any more issues...sadly no. He spent the entire drive home with his cell phone plastered to his ear talking to someone while driving on 167 at 65+ MPH. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone, and I have contacted my insurance company already and have expressed to them my feelings about how this whole thing was handled. read more

I have a mixed review. I got a flat, and had no spare, on I-5 near Kent. My insurance company got in touch with A-Seattle Towing. Their original ETA was met and the first driver who came, Atif, was courteous and professional. Unfortunately, due to a little miscommunication between insurance and A-Seattle, they had sent the wrong kind of truck. The second truck was a little late. Not a problem, as it was now rush hour. But the gentleman driving did not speak English very well and so couldn't help us when we discovered the location the insurance company sent me to have the tire replaced, wasn't there. In addition, whether from not being able to communicate or from being frustrated at the confusion of where to take us, (he did have to drive in a couple of circles), he drove progressively faster and more reckless. I finally directed him to a Les Schwab across the road. He sped in, jerked to a stop, dropped my car and left without a word. Making a difficult day even more difficult. Not impressed. read more
