A cute comic book shop with so many awesome comics, Funko pops and more! This store is extremely neat and visually appealing. I absolutely loved the layout! The service was great and the employee who helped us today was extremely kind, helpful and friendly. The pricing was extremely fair as well. I snagged a few goodies for myself! I would definitely recommend stopping by here and supporting them!

This shop has something for everyone, all ages, all desires, all wallets. You can find collectors items and regular items, staff is helpful and you just have to call them to reserve or look for a special item and/or edition. It is also fun to visit if you are in the area and will put joy in your soul.

Dope spot with chill vibes, and they have an extensive collection of reading material and figures/Funko Pops. I've picked up a few pops from this place. During my last visit, I picked up these storage boxes for me, my bro, and cousin. I came here to visit after having lunch with a couple friends in the area. My only wish was that they carried games or could place orders for stuff...specifically deck building games related to comics. I like being able to hold product and will probably take a look at vendors at Frank and Sons, and as a last resort order the game from Amazon. All in all, a great place to visit and chill if you're into all things comics! The storage boxes were $16 each, so the prices weren't bad at all. I believe retail is around $12-15. The workers themselves are chill, and I'm glad they're not jerks or elitist...I've run into a couple of those. Drop by if you're in the area. They have tees and posters too!

A shop called quest is an amazing comic book shop. I have had the opportunity to visit both the Redlands and Claremont location, and they both offer an absolutely wonderful experience. The comic book selection is fantastic, they have new releases out every week so you can come in very often and find yourself with new content. I love the energy in these comic book shops, and just everything you can find. From indie comic books, to your favorite marvel comic, and even dog collars! This comic book shop is worth checking out. Pricing: Comic books range in prices however I have found that there is a good range at this store. It is never too pricey for the comic you are looking for. I have cross referenced prices before, and I have found that this one is one of the more affordable places even when it comes to rare or hard to find comics.

Super cool comic store right by the Claremont Village. They've got funko pop, comic books, and mangas! My hubs got me a cruella manga because I've been obsessing over Cruella lately. Ha! Anyways, if you're in the area, check out the shop!

Enter, The Collector... Comic Book Guy from the Simpson's definitely embodied geekiness to the nth degree, or whatever modifier rolling a 12-sided dice would incur. Suffice it to say, "worst episode ever." Luckily for us every town worth its salt has a haven for freaks of nature, better known as comic book collectors. Don't get me started about keeping those "action figures" inactive, pristine mint in their original unmolested packaging. Lemmy Killmeister joked once that keeping them mint would help you get $5 some day. Pretty much, so arching eyebrows slightly at the 1% pricing of The Joker and Harlequin boxed set, a steep $145, made me think of that anecdote. Comic shops have changed. Once full of boxes of back issues, today there's a graphic novel embodying those old unobtainable, either by price, or physically elusive issues. Great for casual readers, bad for anal collectors. How geeky does it get in these places? Let's consider there's at least one day per week when new comics arrive. Get your people watching skills ready! Once, in a college town in the Midwest, I was literally 'day tripping' and entering the local shop with enhanced perception was only one objective I intended in the eight-hour state of mind. To my surprise the manager asked me to cover for him because he needed to get "something really important done." I said sure, glad to help. For two-hours until he returned I got way more than I bargained for observing the freakiest of the geeks. Seriously, no room to describe the experience in detail (don't ever believe anyone who says they don't remember what they did on LSD), but definitely "worst episode ever." It convinced me never to work in such a place! I decided to try collecting again on a limited scale after seeing the Darth Vader mini-series on the shelves. Two issues in and I'm hooked again. Damn you comics! More expensive but less advertising inside. I suppose that's a good trade-off. Great shop, can't wait to explore more.

Cool comic book shop in downtown Claremont with even colder cashier. Selection is great, they carry the standard comic book merchandise (funko pop dolls, paperbook comics, funny greeting cards, unique pins, patches, etc.). I'm not a comic book fan/reader, but it's worth stopping in here for a cool, humorous and/or unique gift for a friend or family member. The comic book cashier wasn't really friendly and instead of bagging my item and handing it to me she asked if I needed a receipt and then just gave me a look like she was bothered I made her complete a transaction. Maybe that's normal comic book cashier etiquette but it was pretty rude to me.

I'm rather new to comic collecting and I've been trying to keep my collection growing, but because I'm new to the hobby I don't always know how things work so I try to ask questions to the workers at the stores I visit. The store has one person who is honestly kind of rude. He is an older bald white guy. I've interacted with him a few times in the past briefly but I always felt he was kinda short and rude with me in comparison to how he interacts with other guests . I thought maybe I am overthinking the interaction so I always just let it slide and kept coming back. I told my partner briefly about this and he even agreed that maybe it could be me over thinking. I went in with my partner and this time I asked a question to the cashier about comic releases and the rude guy interjected and made condescending comments about me not knowing how releases work and overall made me feel really stupid. His whole energy just makes me feel like I'm not welcome and that I'm less than because I'm new to the comic hobby. When we left the store my partner immediately was like "is that the guy that is always rude to you?" I don't think I will come back to this store again because of how rude and unprofessional that guy is. He just really lacks customer service skills.

I finally was able to bring him and was pretty impressed by the shop. The walls are fully equipped with comics that range from Marvel, DC, anime, and other pop culture shows. Every time Manny goes shopping there, Enrique has given numerous suggestions and gives him the inside scoop of what is new. All the comics are in great condition and packaged nicely to avoid damage. Definitely worth the price and to add to your collection. Back to the store, on the other side of the shop, there is an arcade with pinball machines and other popular arcade games. Our experience was better than I could've ever hoped for. There are rows and rows of different comic books, neatly organized, and very easily viewed. It is like a little kids comic book dreamworld. So many cool different things to look at. The staff (maybe owner?) Enrique is so kind and so happy to help. We were able to look at things that were within the age range for my kid to enjoy. There's also a couple rows of really cool vintage pinball games. For a dollar you get to play several rounds. Overall amazing experience, we will be back. I feel like everything we wanted to buy, we went ahead and bought and I still left there for under $30. I noticed that he's selling the current comic books for the price labeled on the book, he's not up selling and gouging. This is the kind of place I think our community should work really hard to keep in business.

Most of the kittens look clean and healthy, though one of then did have some minor skin lesions that were slightly concerning. Beyond that, there aren't many reviews for the comic books, so i'd like to focus on that. I have nothing good to say about it. The collection they have on offer contains a mix of books that one would find in other shops for four to ten dollars. The quality of the books is generally okay, but the pricing is disgusting. The sheer audacity of the price tags on these books made me want to puke. Books that clearly sell for $3-5 being priced at 20-30, while high end key issues that sell in perfect mint condition for 180-200 being advertised at 600 dollars plus. The books are also not marked in any way, so after spending time shopping, you'll be disappointed to watch the employee scanning each issue in to ebay, then add 5-10 dollars to the price right in front of your eyes. I happily paid five bucks to play with the kittens but there's not a chance that i'd pay what they are asking for comics, it is legitimately robbery, and gatekeeps the hobby behind the hope that shoppers know zero about comics, or have never shopped for older books before. I wouldn't recommend this place to a comic collector on any day of the week. Go for the cats, avoid buying the comics until the owners learn more about what they are trying to hawk onto people.
