First time coming here for my first One Piece TCG prerelease, and it was a complete mess. I arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled start time with a confirmed "successful" status in the Bandai TCG app. When I reached the front of the line, the owner turned us away, claiming the event was full. He tried to blame us for being late (even though we were on-time) claiming he told "everyone" to show up early. He then admitted he gave our reserved spots to those who showed up much earlier and weren't "successful". I called the store prior to the event to get update and I was told to check their Discord for announcements, but they never posted a single detail about the event schedule or early arrival expectations. We pointed out that we were on time and properly registered through the official app. It was our first pre-release event and we didn't know you had to arrive an entire hour early to wait in line (according to him). He ignore what we were saying and walked away. He returned a few minutes later with asking if we were "done whining" so he could just sell us the prerelease kit to get us to leave. I didn't want to leave empty handed after driving far, so I bought the kit and even apologized for making him upset and he completely ignored me. The owner is an incredibly stubborn, unprofessional man-child who refuses to follow Bandai's official tournament guidelines or listen to reason. I've already filed a formal complaint with Bandai so hopefully they lose their official store status and event privileges. Save yourself the headache and support a local game shop that actually respects its players and basic communication. read more

I don't write reviews let alone take the time to do so but what I witnessed in this shop did not sit right with me at all and I truly regret not speaking up in person. Today I witness; I'm assuming it's the "owner" hackle a young boy for an extra $10 for a item that he claimed has been on the shelf for "3 years" With the price tag labeled at $15. When this young man came into this store he showed up with the intention to buy that one item. Which the young boy kindly asked if he could make a quick transaction while bring his bike inside because he had unfortunately forgotten the lock to his bike at home. During the check out process instead of processing the transaction for the price labeled on the item, the man at the register proceeded to search the internet to try and find the exact same product online to find leverage to increase the price on the product. After failing to do so he then ask the young boy if he was willing to pay $30! Which is double the price of the tag on the item! Luckily the young man had the courage to speak up and try and get a better deal where he ended up paying $25 for a $15 product! To have the audacity to treat a child with that kind of behavior speaks volumes about this man and this "collector shop"! These shops should be built on keeping the inner child alive in everyone and building the future for young collectors. Instead you displayed greed and dishonesty to your young customer. That young man did not deserve for you, a grown adult to take advantage of that young man's innocence. Shame on you A. G. Collectibles for not honoring the price labeled on YOUR product let alone for a child! That is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY as a Business to keep your product prices up to date! This is a cool little spot to get the basic essentials for your tcg. It is really small but there is space in the back to play a couple games with others. The also have a small selection of comics and carry all sorts of different card games. I like stopping here when I need to get some new sleeves or grab a couple packs to open. Owner is very nice and always ready to help you out. And being it's a small the shop, the prices are pretty good too. read more

This store lives up to its billing and moniker. A.G. Collectibles boasts a diverse offering of Magic Card decks, comics, action figures, posters, t-shirts, and etc. I went in for the etcetera. A.G. has a respectable collection of vinyl records. The owner, Raul, was a career EDM/house music DJ, so an appreciable section of the store contains the typical genres of vinyl records. The owner did well to include a good deal of essential vinyl in store. The rock sections are particularly well stocked. I dug up a copy of an Eagles record that only cost me $4. The wax was in excellent condition too! This post wouldn't be complete without a nod to owner at A.G. Collectibles. Raul knows his collectibles. He maintains a tidy and organized storefront. Without exception, he is one of coolest and friendliest store owners I've met. He always treats every customer with the utmost courtesy. The service at A.G. has been impeccable every time I've been by. Raul's customers certainly value his store; they often drop in with collectibles to donate, trade, or sell. And, why wouldn't they? Visited here once maybe a month or two ago for a Final Fantasy TCG tournament a friend was hosting. Met Mr. Raul who ran the shop. Nice, friendly, and gave us some FFTCG promo cards. It's a small boutique spot halved with a play area towards the back. Play Area got pretty crammed up when we were there. Different games going on at the same time too. There was like an 8-9 player DND (Dungeons & Dragons) session, Digimon, & Wiess aside from Final Fantasy throughout the day that I recalled seeing going on. Nice to see it packed and full though. Would recommend to dropby if you're ever around the area. Nice variety of TCG / Trading Card Games and other collectibles. read more

Stores nice but they're really lacking in diversity. Not much product and none really that are amazing. Staff are nice though, and the shop is very clean. But the biggest strike against them is they DO NOT BUY CARDS! The shop owner is instilling a "store credit" rule and it's a really cheap tactic. I'm coming from the LA area and all the shops there (Frank and Sons included) buy cards. They have booming business and are buying/selling cards at the same price as shops in the IE (few that there are). Idk man the shop is really nice, but I really don't like cheap tactics shop owners instill because they're a little money hungry. Would still recommend, but with such a lacking in products, I'd also recommend to keep expectations low read more

An up and coming record/comic book store in the LA Fitness plaza! I frequent this plaza for Tpumps. They don't have an official sign quite yet but they have banners saying "RECORDS" and "COMICS". Total shoe in for me! Their vinyl collection was decently sized, ranging anywhere from rock, classical, country, hiphop, etc., Also check underneath the tables, there's boxes and boxes of records! I do hope that they expand their indie/alternative collection in the future. I'm not too well versed in comics but they have a decent sized collection, as well as comic book merch like t shirts, collectible figurines, etc., I didn't see any manga/anime, just mostly DC/Marvel (they had some pretty cool dc/marvel inspired aprons too!) The owner was so nice and accommodating... said if there was a record that we wanted to listen to, he could play it for us. He also handed me a flyer with info on their grand opening April 2nd, where they will have giveaways from 1-4PM, plus discounts and raffles all day! They'll also have friends of the Upland Animal Shelter and a blood drive present for the opening as well. Will definitely be back! So excited for the potential of A.G. Collectibles! read more

Probably picked a terrible day to go as there was some sort of game going on. The place was crammed full of tables and people playing. Comic and record racks and bins were blocked with no way around them. I had no idea who worked there and who didn't. Record selection was small, considerably so considering place is advertised as 'comics and records.' Collectible selection was alright. Basic overpriced comic-con merch, which is fine, and about what you can expect. Everything else was mostly very old DC Direct figures, and other common old items. Prices on those I couldn't really say because I couldn't get near them. I did find a few things that I wanted to purchase regardless... went up to the register and was ignored for a while even though the guy saw me. Maybe it's better on a Saturday? I'd avoid Sunday's just in case. I won't be going back as there wasn't enough to hold my interest and the customer service just wasn't there. Maybe if I was a gamer it would be better? read more

If u want to find a place where u can find great stuff and meet good people AG is the place to go. The owner Raul is a really nice guy and is willing to help u out to the best of his ability. If he isn't sure of something and knows someone already in the shop that does. He will ask them to help explain. Raul really goes above and beyond for his customer's. This place has become my second home. My buddies and I meet up atleast once a week and play Yu-Gi-Oh usually. Good place to go for a casual MTG event. It is very clean. Having AC is a big plus. People there are really nice. I don't have any deck and only play limited format. I didn't expect to play there but just wanted to see a different game store when visiting that area. The owner lend me his c17 cat deck to play. I love this place!! I'm really big on comic books and I've found some really great ones here! They even have The Evil Within comics. They've got a few Sandman and there's one signed by the author. They have a lot of the new gems so if you're a collector of older ones sorry, they have a few but not the But don't worry, they are more than willing to look it up for you if you're searching!! They hold D&D along with Magic the Gathering game nights. You know if you're looking for a particular card or wanting to sell one they are willing to take them off your hands and give some decent payment. Cards and comics not really your thing? That's ok! They have vinyl records! Oh and did I mention the $1 bins of records and comics?? Although the records might have one price, the owner will give you a discount if he feels like the record's cover is too damaged for the price.
