Cost-wise, they ARE more expensive than your regular dentist if you're comparing apples to apples but you're really not comparing apples to apples here because all they do here is root canals and specialize in it. Having said that, I felt the price wasn't outrageous and fair given the quality of work and saving my tooth. The only room for improvement is getting the notes and referral papers back and forth from your general dentist and them. They not only did not receive the notes my dentist had sent them but they also failed to send their notes to her on that day so you might want to call and double check that they got everything before you go there and have to pretend to be a dentist- pro tip: If you want to sound smart, remember the tooth numbers and use fancy terms like "referred pain".

I am leaving on a long trip at the end of the week & the office was able to get me in at 7:30am Friday morning for a root canal consultation with possible procedure. I was terrified of the pain that came along with a root canal, but have to say how impressed and relieved I am with the work they did. The only pain I felt came from the numbing shots (which yes, hurts, but a small price to pay considering what else they have to do to the tooth). There was zero nerve pain, and while I could feel pressure, there was no zinging or jump-scare pain the entire time. The doctor worked with a sense of urgency, provided laughing gas (extra cost), and I watched a movie with headphones on the whole time. I had the root canal done 4 hours ago and I'm in minimal after-pain with the help of the ibuprofen prescription provided. The doctor was super professional, polite, explained things, etc - can't say enough good things. All in, the cost was approx. $1k. I hope I never have to do it again, but if I do, I'm glad to know I can go back here!

The insurance specialist informed me it would cost over $300, out of pocket. To be clear, I go to the dentist every 6 months and have my entire life. I brush twice a day and floss daily. The dentist today had no concerns about my teeth after reviewing my X-rays. No dentist (or dental hygienist) has ever recommended a deep clean before. And I was told this is "not a new problem." I declined the medium deep cleaning, the hygienist refused to do a regular cleaning and I left. The whole experience felt very scammy. And I still need to get my teeth cleaned.

The front office staff that handled the appointment to the insurance paperwork and cost were great. They were following social distancing guidelines and masking up. Dr Gurala is great. He is very friendly and thorough and his British accent is very soothing. The dental assistants are terrific and very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. Dr Gurala keeps you informed of what is happening and the experience was great considering it was not something I wanted to do lol. And if the insurance covers more than what initially thought, they send you back a check with the difference. Overall I've been to him twice and will see him 2 more times and hopefully be done. Great dental office! I was looking for a new dentist after…read moremoving here and was glad to find one so close with good reviews and covered by my insurance. Everyone here was nice and Laura was my hygienist who did my cleaning and X-rays. She was really kind and friendly. It's cool that they have tvs positioned above you so you can watch Netflix or other shows while you're at your appointment. They also have a portable X-Ray camera, which I've never seen before, and thought that was really cool. Definitely recommend!
